Lisbon City Hotel by City Hotels

We stayed in a double room for few nights which was a bit small but it's okay for two people, there is a balcony with nice city view. Then we went to Porto for 3 days and they stored our luggages for free. When we came back we had a twin/double room which was much bigger than the first one and also had a nice balcony. The property is clean and close to metro station and is few minutes away from the major attractions by public transportation. The staff were friendly and helpful especially the evening staff. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Junior suiten var större och finare än vad vi trodde utifrån marknadsföringsbildetna. Så också balkongen med fantastisk panorama utsikt över staden. Läget perfekt med närhet till kommunikationer som spårvagn, tunnelbana och buss. Gott om restauranger och affärer samt gångavstånd till citykärnan.

Really nice hotel for the price you pay. The breakfast is amazing and the hotel is near everything you need. Only complain is that when you shower with hot water the fire alarm may get activated, they weren’t nice about this… however a good experience overall. The rooftop is also really good with great views to the castle.

Super friendly staff, great breakfast, a few steps away from the underground and buses. The only downside is the lift as it's very slow and only takes 3 people at a time. For those staying on the 6th floor like we did it can be quite a long wait of you don't want to climb up the stairs.

Der Check-In war nicht besonders zügig und hatte viel mehr mit einer Zettelwirtschaft zu tun. Die Zimmer waren auf den ersten Blick sauber. Schaut man genauer hin, wird nicht korrekt auf Sauberkeit geachtet. Die Lichtschalter waren verschmiert, die Bilderrahmen warn staubig und beim Frühstück lag im Obstkorb eine verschümmelte Orange.

Der Aufenthalt in dem Hotel war insgesamt angenehm. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchten wir das durchweg äußerst freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal. Unser Zimmer war modern eingerichtet und machte einen gepflegten Eindruck. Lediglich das Badezimmer war bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen und hätte gründlicher gereinigt sein können. Hier besteht aus unserer Sicht noch Verbesserungsbedarf. Das Frühstück empfanden wir – gemessen am Preis – als absolut in Ordnung. Insgesamt hatten wir für diese Hotelkategorie also eine gute Erfahrung und würden das Hotel für einen Städtetrip weiterempfehlen.

Lovely staff, clean rooms/facilities

Próximo ao centro de Lisboa (aproximadamente 15 minutos de caminhada), staff extremamente gentil. Único ponto seria a limpeza pois tinha roupa na sacada do último hóspede, mas de resto tudo perfeito.

O banheiro tem um mal cheiro quase insuportável. Precisei comprar produtos para diminuir o cheiro dos ralos. Soube que em toda ala 05 tem o mesmo. Péssimo! Falta de respeito! Não pedimos para mudar de quarto pq ja havíamos desfeito as malas e arrumado tudo. No mais o hotel é muito bom

The toilet runs constantly but can only be heard in the bathroom so isn’t a problem. It does smell slightly musty though and should have a fan.

The water smelled a bit.

The hall smelled bad and the room had little room to move around.

Room was clean and breakfast was good aswell. Good location.

Bon séjour malgré une porte fenêtre donnant sur l’extérieur qui ne fermait pas correctement et laissait donc rentrer le froid et le bruit. La douche mériterait une petite réparation car les portes ferment mal.

We stayed only 1 night. the rooms were clean and well-kept. It was just a little bit small. but we didn't mind. Thank you.

Correcte sans plus, besoin d’un peu d’amour! Matelas vraiment inconfortable, usure au centre donc automatiquement le corps roulait à cet endroit!! Manque d’insonorisation. Les employés étaient par contre très sympathique.

The room was tinier than expected, the bathroom was out of date, and the shower had a leak. If i could go back in time, i would have selected a different hotel.

Great little spot in the middle of it all. 1 min walk from the 28E line, metro and multiple bus stops. Restaurants all around and you can walk within 30 minutes to most tourist attractions. Hotel was modest but clean. Beds small but comfortable. Little noisy because you are in the middle of the hustle and bustle.

Good location, next to the metro station. Not far from the airport either. Good dining options around the hotel. Safe and quiet area. Comfortable beds, clean room but very small shower cubicle and dated bathroom. Reception staff could be friendlier.

Staff was efficient, kind, friendly and helped with dining options and directions. Found the double room very congested, no room for suitcases and walking in the room was not safe as we bumped into stuff.

Although the double room we had was basic, and a bit small, it had enough to be used as a base. Three room was cleaned every day with fresh towels provided. The breakfast was also good with sufficient variety to suit most. The staff were helpful and available to help when needed.

The hall smelled bad and the room had little room to move around.

Good location and easily walkable to sights and transport. Hotel room (suite) was very good with balcony that has a view of the castle.

The 2 ladies in the counter were not people friendly person.

We stayed here for 2 nights. No issues at all. And the flwg is only our own opinion Hotel is nice, well maintained and clean. Room had a safe, a refrigerator. Good A/C, a Kettle, hair dryer Average breakfast. Nice beds/bedding. Staff very friendly and cooperative. No ironing board or iron. Washrooms & towels need upgrading. Scanty toiletries. Overall Satisfactory.

Overall it was a pleasent stay. The staff was excellent, and services were wonderful.

Very good value for money,good 3 star hotel,i had a balcony ,which was excellent for relaxing on ,afted a days sight seeing.Good location ,100 yards from the Metro,just a few stops to the tourist area,and also a walkable distance,airport takes about 30 minutes.Staff were friendly and helpful.

Ingen frokost, utsikten var skjermet for innsyn/trafikk. Resepsjonen var uvurderlig for hjelp/assistanse og hadde løsninger på alle måter og problem. Måtte forlenge oppholdet med 1 døgn, var ingen problem! Beliggenheten og mulighetene for offentlig kommunikasjon var perfekt med 2 t-baner + trikk innenfor 200 meter - T-banen har flerreisekort fom 24t > 72t + transfer til alle banene av byen. Også masser av lokale + turist-restauranter i alle retninger. Fant og 1 skandinavisk frokostrestaurant rett nedi gata! Taxi fra downtown er på 10 > 20 Euro avhengig av avstand og avstand til flyplassen er ca 20 min. Kommer garantert tilbake,men klimaet skifter veldig på vinteren, ofte 2-3 ganger om dagen. Spesielt mellom kl 1500 > 1700 fra varmt/sol til iskaldt/ regn + kraftige vinder.

We checked in after 10 pm after a long flight and just wanted to go to bed and we couldn’t!!!!! It was very small room for 3 of us. Inside many cracks -had to inspect the room in the middle of the night and notify receptionist so I will not be charged for someone else’s damages. Our AC was not working. I notified receptionist, the said it will start working after 15-20 minutes. One hour passed AC still did not work. Technician for the day left already. Then one of staff members brought us a massive fan (thank you for trying to resolve it) but it was very noisy to keep on working through the night. I tried to open the window but it was very noisy as the hotel located on a busy street. In the morning had to leave early for our guided tour and had no time to beg on resolving the issue since last night. When we got back to the hotel I’ve been told that I can’t get a new room with working AC as it needed to be done in the morning…….really bad service and facility ( definitely needs some renovations). In general it’s better to avoid that area in the city as it looks very unsafe ((. One good thing that they agreed to return my money for the days I was not staying as we moved to Arbnb nearby.

El personal fue extremadamente amable. Las personas de recepción demostraron mucho interés en ayudar para que tengamos una mejor estancia. Lamentablemente el hotel está ubicado en una zona que no recomendaría especialmente si viajas con niños . Está en una zona donde frecuentan personas de calle

Goed hotel, op een centrale plaats in de stad. Dicht bij een metrostation, bushalte en tram stop.

El Hotel estaba muy bien, habitación amplia y personal muy amable, el hotel estaba a unos 10 min del centro por lo que era de facil acceso a todos los puntos turisticos. El unico inconveniente era la zona, estaba en una zona donde había justo al lado un comedor social por lo que el entorno estaba lleno de gente sin techo donde esperaban el turno. Por la noche procurabamos llegar pronto al Hotel porque ibamos con niños. Pero tengo que decir que no hemos tenido problema alguno.

Hôtel plutôt correct. Chambre 1er prix un peu petite mais convient parfaitement aux voyageurs qui ne restent pas longtemps à l'hôtel. On ne peut pas plus proche d'une station de métro (station Intende). Des tentes abritant des SDF sont en face de l'hôtel. C'est un peu bruyant le soir pour ceux qui ont une chambre côté rue principale.

Good location

We were unaware that this hotel was right next to a homeless shelter. There were multiple homeless people in the streets, begging for money, panhandling, throwing garbage in the park by the church. Also ambulance sirens could be heard multiple times throughout the day and night, possibly every hour if not more.

Location of the hotel is great. It is very near a metro and 15 mins walk to Rossio Square

I arrived by the nearby metro and immediately was faced with a ton of homeless people. As a female solo traveler this was very concerning to me for my safety. Turns out there is a soup kitchen next door and around 8am, 12pm, 6pm very large crowds would gather outside. I hate to be this person and I completely understand the need and importance of the soup kitchen however, it was just unexpected and again nerve wracking for my safety. On top of this when the shower in the room didn’t drain, and the only thing the house keeping staff could say was to not turn the shower head on all the way. One of the toilet paper rolls looked like it had been run over, and then the safe broke with my stuff in it. I asked that they not try to fix it without me being there and I came back from the day and they had taken the stuff out (this could have been a miscommunication with language but still not fun considering it’s my personal belongings.) The only consolation was the front staff was SOOOOOO helpful. When I did have concerns they were able to help and there was someone there 24 hours which was nice. It was only a 25 minute walk to the baxia which was fine. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this hotel unfortunately.

Breakfast was good, room was clean.

Avslutning av familieferie i Spania og Portugal med 3 netter i Lisboa. 200 meter fra Metro-stasjon. Flott familierom i 7. etg. Grei plass inne, rent og ordentlig og med fin terrasse. Litt utenfor sentrum, men enkelt å komme seg rundt med T-bane og buss. Hyggelig personale i skranken og i frokostsalen. Godt utvalg for en god frokost.

Excelente servicio del staff del hotel, él desayuno buffett muy recomendado, muy nutritivo. Él hotel està a una cuadra de la estación de Metro que te permite movilizarte en 12 min en la zona turística . Gracias por su excelente servicio !!!

The view of the balcony was beautiful, but I was charged for the breakfast 10 euros per day. Had breakfast just 3 days. Was charged 30 euros. Was told breakfast was not included. Everything else was good.

L’hotel si trova in una zona non bellissima della città, nonostante ciò la vicinanza con la linea verde della metro e il tram 28 lo rende una buona soluzione per il pernottamento a Lisbona. La camera è pulita e gradevole, non c’è la moquette quindi ottimo. Da rivedere il concetto di colazione (poco fornita e di bassa qualità). Personale gentile.
