This hotel was PERFECT! The ambience and vibe were grate. The location was super convenient to walk everywhere. If you're a jazz fan like we are, you'll LOVE the in house jazz club and piano bar. Seriously I can't say enough positive things about this place!

An attractive property in an excellent area. The gym is a disappointment and my room was very, um, snug. But the staff were great, the rooftop restaurant was very nice, breakfast was good, so on the whole I’d recommend it.

The staff was excellent and friendly, and the location was convenient. However, our room was in their second building, and our elevator went out for 24 hours. We had to walk up and down one floor to get to our room, which was extremely inconvenient. We also got locked out of the main hotel, because the closed the door access from our side. We had to go to the basement laundry area to then find our way out. Additionally, our rooms floor was sticky and dirty, and our shower had extreme mold and mildew, as well as a broken blind over the shower window. We had to pin a hand towel over the blind so no one could see into our shower from another room. The hotel staff apologized and said they would address it, but the mold was never cleaned properly and the blind was never fixed. This hotel is definitely not worth the cost. A big disappointment and was the low point of our trip to Rome

We had a great welcome with lots of helpful suggestions from reception staff re places to visit and how best to get there. Rooms were clean and well appointed and the breakfast buffet was excellent. An added bonus was the rooftop cocktail bar.

The hotel is conveniently located and has many good qualities. Unfortunately, our experience was not great due to the noise every night from the hotel’s rooftop restaurant and bar. Although it closes at 2am the staff move tables and chairs around after that. My room was on the fourth floor and the noise disturbed me but didn’t prevent me from sleeping. However, my niece’s room was on the fifth floor and she could not sleep even with ear plugs. We both went up to complain and were told the bar would close within minutes (not true) and that they would not move furniture (also not true). The staff told my niece the noise she heard was caused by the wind - which was preposterous. I suppose if you select a room on a lower floor this hotel is fine but if you’re on the fourth or fifth floor, ask to move immediately.

Floor No 5 is a nightmare since you will not be able to sleep since upper floor noise as restaurante since breakfast till late night is on top of your head: people, dragging chairs and tables. On the stairs the noise of glass bottels and early morning cleaning ladies chatting. I didnt get expedia VIP benefits. Booked two rooms: one of them booked square meters but other one half. Window with no curtains: light since early morning. We didnt have elevator for 30 hours. I have the chat with expedia during my stay. I can share to anyone interested.

A beautiful and extremely clean hotel. Wonderful breakfast with lots of cheeses, sweets, crescents and eggs plus coffee and cappuccino. Staff Vincent was especially helpful at getting us breakfast when we had to leave before regular breakfast hours. People cleaning throughout the day. Porters helping with your luggage. Almost everyone spoke English. It was a great experience and a great location.

This is an interesting funky boutique hotel. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was appreciated, however this room was not in the main building so access was not ideal. The hotel has an issue with the sewer and there is a noticeable smell which they try to hide. Staff in general is friendly but because there is a restaurant, rooftop and bar open to the public, their staff doesn't know your are are staying at the hotel and there is no special treatment that you would expect as a guest. We specially experienced this at the bar in the 1st floor where the manager and waitress were rude and not friendly at all. Sadly it diminished our overall experience. It was an ok experience but at this price range you expect the best service. Avoid this place as there are plenty of other options in the city.

Flott hotell med sentral beliggenhet. Rommet var vanskelig å finne, måtte igjennom bokomplekser. Var slitt og skittent, men sengene bra. Frokost var god, men mye fugler inne i værelset som spiste på kakene, så det ble det ikke.

We have stayed multiple years at this hotel. For some reason the sewage system makes hotel rooms smell. We are not sure why this has been happening but the odour is bad, and therefore, while the location is excellent we won’t be staying there anymore.

Os funcionários são muito prestativos e amáveis ! O café da manhã é excelente e é servido no rooftop com uma linda vista . A localização é muito boa entre a Piazza Popolo e España. Mas o quarto é muito abafado , escuro e sem janelas . Dá uma sensação de claustrofobia ! Voltaria a ficar lá se houver opção de quarto com janelas

The location of the hotel is great. It's walkable to a lot of attractions. The reason i gave 3 starts is the room itself. The AC was dispabled (aparently there is a rule in Rome after a certain date the ac unites have to be disabled. At least thats what i was told by the front desk staff. The room i didnt have windows and was very dark. The temperature is the room was 26C (79F) and it would not cool down. The staff brought us a fan, but even tht wouldnt help. I wish i knew that the hotel had windowless rooms on the 1st floor i would have never booked it. It was soo uncomfortable it was imposible to be in the room. To be honest, i think that floor is fire hazard as you have to walk through 2 doors to get out and there is no window to open.

Pros: breakfast buffet, overall service, water pressure in shower. Location is amazing and just what I was looking for. Cons: AC was super noisy and not that powerful, room was standard and frankly tiny. We had two big suitcases and we had to completely block the hallway with these bags. The toilet pressure was low. But the worst was probably that the room needed a refresh including the bathroom.

The hotel is conveniently located and has many good qualities. Unfortunately, our experience was not great due to the noise every night from the hotel’s rooftop restaurant and bar. Although it closes at 2am the staff move tables and chairs around after that. My room was on the fourth floor and the noise disturbed me but didn’t prevent me from sleeping. However, my niece’s room was on the fifth floor and she could not sleep even with ear plugs. We both went up to complain and were told the bar would close within minutes (not true) and that they would not move furniture (also not true). The staff told my niece the noise she heard was caused by the wind - which was preposterous. I suppose if you select a room on a lower floor this hotel is fine but if you’re on the fourth or fifth floor, ask to move immediately.

The problem with this hotel is that they don’t have air conditions. Rooms are size of the closet. With closed windows you start to suffocate. And You cannot sleep with opened windows, because of the laud music from the bar downstairs.

Despite images advertised by the hotel, the one bed assigner originally to us was very tiny with no space to move around the room and practically with no privacy when taking shower (visible from the bedside, no door or partition), they said they change it to a room with privacy, but the new room was tiny as well with no windows to the outside world, practically we felt we were confined in a decorated dungeon. Service crews were courteous , access to shops and tourist attractions were great and buffet breakfast was the highlight of this hotel.

Location is excellent. Don’t ask the porter to order a taxi for you. They are in bed and the driver will take you for drive in town and run the meter for at least €20. Just walk out of the hotel take a left turn and another left. Taxi stop is 100 meters away with many ready for a ride.

We had a great welcome with lots of helpful suggestions from reception staff re places to visit and how best to get there. Rooms were clean and well appointed and the breakfast buffet was excellent. An added bonus was the rooftop cocktail bar.

I stayed at Hotel Valadier in 2023 and had a good experience, so I booked it again in 2024. I won’t do that again. Although the hotel is very clean and nice, there are things others should know before booking. First, there is a club on the first (2nd to Americans) floor of the hotel. Well, this year our room was on the same floor. We heard thumping music until about 4:00am every night. The more troublesome warning is about safety. One day after doing some shopping, we came back to drop off bags before heading out again. The door to our room was wide open and an older man with white hair was turning on the tv. When we entered, he apologized, grabbed his key, and left. We honestly thought he might have been there to clean the room as it hadn’t been done yet. Fast forward to the next day. We were there at one point while a woman in a hotel uniform was clearly cleaning the room (she had a mop out and everything). We came back hours later and once again, the door was wide open with the older man standing there watching tv. At this point, we knew he was not there to clean. When we checked out, I explained the whole situation to the front desk. The man I spoke with seemed genuinely concerned and said he was going to investigate the matter. It’s been five days and I’ve heard nothing from the hotel. I won’t be staying there again.

The property was beautiful and the staff was exceptional! They truly went above and beyond to help accommodate us in various ways such as storing our luggage calling a cab when needed, getting us a driver to the airport and even packed us a to go breakfast since we had a very early flight.

This is an interesting funky boutique hotel. We were upgraded to a bigger room which was appreciated, however this room was not in the main building so access was not ideal. The hotel has an issue with the sewer and there is a noticeable smell which they try to hide. Staff in general is friendly but because there is a restaurant, rooftop and bar open to the public, their staff doesn't know your are are staying at the hotel and there is no special treatment that you would expect as a guest. We specially experienced this at the bar in the 1st floor where the manager and waitress were rude and not friendly at all. Sadly it diminished our overall experience. It was an ok experience but at this price range you expect the best service. Avoid this place as there are plenty of other options in the city.

The hotel is ideally located! It’s very convenient for walking to all the sights and attractions, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. However, I have to say, Brillo, which is the restaurant attached to the hotel was particularly wonderful with the best staff. Equally wonderful were the hotel staff, from reception staff to the bellhop!

This is our second stay at Hotel Valadier and it did not disappoint. The location is great, being steps away from Piazza Popolo and the Spanish steps. Also mins away from two Metro stops. The rooms are on the small size, but absolutely beautiful, which is why we stay here. Beautiful rooftop restaurant for breakfast or dinner.

This small-ish hotel is a little gem in a busy but quiet location. Close to two Metro Stations, the Spanish Steps, high-end shops, and Piazza Popolo, yet tucked away in a quiet laneway on its own. We were impressed with the quality and friendliness of the staff, the efficient and helpful reception staff, and the overall ambience and quality of the hotel. Our well-priced room was quite small but this is common in Rome and disclosed on the hotel’s photo pages. However, the facilities were just right, the beds very comfortable with quality linen and pillows, and soft towels with nice toiletries. Breakfast in the rooftop terrace each morning was a real treat and a lovely way to start a day of Roman touring. It is clear that this boutique hotel is well-managed, and that there is a sense of pride and ownership amongst the staff. Thank you Valadier hotel, we look forward to coming back.

It was a special experience. The location is excellent and I loved the details of the decor and the pieces on display. But the breakfast was not varied. I mean the basic breakfast, but the amount of sweets was varied and excellent. However, the basic breakfast was limited and I did not like it.

Este hotel es muy acogedor, la gente es muy amable y en todo momento me sentí segura en las instalaciones. Está muy bien ubicado ya q se se puede visitar los lugares más imperantes de Roma simplemente caminando. el vaticano o el coliseo Romano está como a 30 min, Las gradas españolas como a 8 minutos. La piazza del popolo a 2 minutos. Además se puede tomar transporte público a un par de cuadras! El Desayuno buffet es espectacular!!! Great location, generally good stay. Only gripes would be to get to our rooms each day was a real trek involving 3 lifts , very difficult with 2 young kids.
