Room was bare concrete, it felt kind of a hospital room somehow but it was cozy and clean thou, just to spend the night or if you are a student a study place, very student oriented. Parking on the street is pay parking and you have to go about 3-4 blocks to park overnight until 6:00 am do parking was a bit complicated, Be aware, this is a different experience from a regular hotel.

This is a dorm room, plain and simple. A marvelous price for a short summer stay in downtown Toronto if you're ok with simple, and with student neighbors. It was quiet during my visit. There is access to a large, all-gender bathroom down the hall with many sinks, toilet stalls, and shower stalls. Parking in a U of T garage is available 2 blocks away, costs about $30 overnight. One must sign up online, instructions are given at check in.

Good location, decent value, but the heat was on in the building for some reason and it was June 1. Weather was cooler than normal but it was very uncomfortable to sleep in a hot room. Even with windows open, we were sweating all night. The beds were not comfortable but they were adequate for one night. Would probably not stay again in the summer- not having an accessible thermostat could make for an unbearable night here.

But if you just want a comfortable bed and a quiet, private room, this is ideal. The bed was certainly comfortable, and the rooms (and the whole residence) is clean and tidy. A wardrobe and dresser is provided, as well as a desk (it's a student residence, after all). There are washrooms on each floor (with showers), and guests have access to a kitchen and the laundry room. This is probably the least expensive place to stay in Toronto (other than a hostel, where rooms are shared with others) -- in fact, the price is exceptional. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming, and ready to answer any questions. When and if I come to Toronto again, I will absolutely be staying here.

I enjoyed my stay here. The residence is located in a nice, safe area with campus security. The room was basic, but functional and the bed a bit uncomfortable, but I only stayed 3 nights and it had a full kitchen and laundry room right on the same floor. I would stay again.

I can’t believe they rent out this place as a hotel. I don’t know how students can live here, and sleep on this mattress. The shower was so dirty that I had to go somewhere else to shower. There was no AC (at least I couldn’t adjust the temperature) as mentioned in the ad.

I had low expectation coming here in the first place, and it was worse than expected. Entire place smelled, sheets on bed had stains on them, showers were disgusting, beds are incredibly uncomfortable and loud when you move even slightly. I know it’s not an expensive place to stay, but for over a $100/night, I would expect a little bit better. One plus was staff was incredibly friendly.

Pretty poorly kept place. Yeah on the hallway, weird smell in the kitchen, creaky beds. Two of the three shared showers (probably shared among 30-40 guests!) were unusable. Nice people in the front desk but generally less informed than one would expect.

For the nightly cost, it was fantastic! Nice location, (the transit on Spadina was incredible, light rail passed by about every 3 minutes). Room was large, although simple. Biggest drawback was sharing the washrooms, but there’s many bathroom stalls and shower stalls to accommodate., (maybe just a nusance to constantly have to leave your room , especially at night, to use the toilet. But small price to pay to save $$. I really liked my stay! I would definitely recommend for anyone who’s wanting something affordable 🤗

It's a nice, clean, friendly, discount place to stay. I had only two issues: there wasn't much hot water in the showers; and the vinyl covering on the foam matress is both very noisy and too slippery to hold on to the bedding (which was minimal: one flat pillow and a synthetic blanket). But the staff are great, the location is terrific, and I'd stay there again.

The location is excellent, close to downtown Toronto, which is very convenient for restaurants, cafes, and shopping. Receptionists who are students are very kind and friendly. The inside of the facility is a bit complicated, but excellent security. The room is just functional and acceptable for the price.

Quiet, good location, relatively clean, affordable. I would definitely stay there again. It's a bit basic, so not like a hotel. No coffee machine in the room, shared bath, but all that is tolerable. I just needed a place to sleep while attending business meetings downtown. This served that purpose.

I would not recommend it for seniors or anyone with a walking impairment. My fault as I did not experience university residence life. Parking is a long distance and you can't park overnight! No place for food or drinks. Would never think of it again.
