For an airport hotel, it was very nice. The rooms were huge. There's a nice park with a lake and running trails across a small road. What I didn't like was that I didn't receive any benefits that Expedia said I should get, like a 20% discount on food at the restaurant. The reception desk and restaurant host had no idea what I was talking about when I inquired about it. I tried to get help from Expedia's Virtual Chat but I went around in circles with the AI agent and left me frustrated. I gave up because it just wasn't worth my time for 20% off expensive hotel food. The virtual agent is a joke. I can get the same answer if I Googled a question. And I could not get through to human help!!!!

Excellent value for money hotel. Close to Beijing Internationla airport. Shuttle bus every 20 minutes and on the hour. Note they only pickup from Terminal 3 on level 1. For the Yum Cha/Dim Sum enthousiasts they have an excellent all you can eat lunch daily for approx $50 AUD (218RMB) which is a must not miss. The food is prepared fresh to order and all excellent. The pool and facilities sauna, gym are excellent with towels and bottled drinking water available. All in all a great stay and will be back each time I need to stay close to the airport.

The staff were very helpful, however their English wasn't to good, (being an international airport transit hotel should probably be better) but in saying that they always found a way to understand you. The pool was great, especially the changing room, it had all you needed. Really appreciated the little machine to dry your swimming costume.

Do not expect a Langham experience. Stuff are not welcoming and cold. Airport shuttle was offered but in a small golf cart and driver giving very confusing instructions. Arrange your own transport. Only highlight- the pool is spacious and clean. Life guard present.

Very convenient with shuttle buses to terminal 3 Beijing Capital airport. Room is clean and spacious. Excellent customer service. The indoor swimming pool is awesome but didn’t enjoy swimming due to smoking fumes sipping through the doors and windows of the indoor pool. The hotel should prevent people from smoking in the vicinity of the hotel or seal all windows and doors. Inhaling second hand smoke while exercising is really hazardous.

I did not enjoy my one night stay, after going in with high expectations due to other reviews. I had another night booked for next week for my return trip, but I cancelled it last night. I was unable to use the TV during the stay due to bad batteries in the remote. I was also unahppy with the temperature control which was stuck at 27 degrees with no way of bringing it down. The staff on the phone offered to send new batteries and a fan, but then reneged on both offers stating that neither were available. I requested a room change to one with a working TV and she agreed to ask a manager but did not call back afterwards. After I called a third time, she agreed to send a fan (apparently available after all) and attempt to grab batteries from another room. We never received batteries in the end and she never bothered calling to close the loop on this. Other minor grievances included: only providing one bath robe for a 2 guest reservation; shower diverter that didn't fully push in for the main nozzle to run; weird stains on the carpet and all over the mirrors on on either side of the TV. The housekeeping staff who brought us the fan and the shuttle driver in the morning were very nice. The breakfast buffet was delicious. However, the far negatives outweighed the positives.

We spent one night at Cordis Beijing Capital Airport Hotel during our transit to our final destination. Overall the experience was very positive. The best was the stuff at the hotel, very kind and helpful. We had an incident with our kid and they even arranged a ride to the local hospital and provided some Chinese medicine. Thank you very much for all your help and hospitality. We had two small children (3 & 6 years old) and their stay and breakfast was free of charge. The breakfast buffet was amazing both the "Western" and Chinese cuisine with lots of alternatives. What needs to be improved for a 5 star rating is the room cleanliness. We found a cockroach in the room and spots here and there that needed to be cleaned. Also the service of the shuttle from/to the airport. It goes every 30 minutes and according to the hotel manager it is not required to call the hotel to get the service, but for us we waited 45 minutes and made two phone calls to get it, while other hotel shuttles have done two round-trips by then. We received apologies from the hotel manager and were upgraded to a family suite. Overall a very good experience. Thank you everyone at the Cordis Beijing Capital Airport.

Wonderful, big and clean room just 5 mins from T3 via a shuttle bus. The only downside was the noise pollution because the windows were nice and big, but the aluminium frame didn't provide sufficient noise reduction. As a result I had a sleepless night.

Main complaint was the air conditioning was weak and didn’t cool the room at all even on full power. Made the room stuffy and uncomfortable even though the outside was cool. Windows only open partially and traffic noise comes in so it was not a good alternative. Called reception to request a fan but it was unavailable. Proximity to airport and free shuttle was the main reason we chose this hotel.

We have been travelling around the world, many fine hotels! . The cleanliness and beauty of the hotel, especially the warmth, the reception and hospitality of the staff impressed us the most! Usually when i go there its ok and the service is good. This time the service was very poor. I asked the manager if there was a shopping mall nearby and he looked at me and ignored me. I have been to this hotel +10 times and this has been the worst. They usually have english speaking staff but this time they didn’t. Even the room i got was very bad compared to the usual. Im choosing Hilton next time.

The customer service was beyond exceptional!!! We’ve stayed at a lot of hotels , this service was one of the best I’ve ever received! From the moment we arrived ( greeted by the concierge at the door ) then by the amazing customer service at the check in, we felt like royalty. Deane was the front desk supervisor , he was professional and so friendly! This hotel gets a 100/10!!!!!

The hotel is ok, very convenient for the airport. Good shuttle service. The only problem is that they don’t tell you the shuttle service timetable and pick up point, and ask you to call the hotel beforehand. This is always the big concern when I book Chinese airport hotels. The irony is: THEY DO HAVE SHUTTLE BUS TIMETABLE AND PICK UP POINT INFORMATION AT THE CHECH IN DESK! Why they don’t put these information in their web booking information??? (I used hotels.com). I don’t understand the logic!

The Cordis is a very comfortable hotel next to Beijing Airport and great if you are in transit for a night. It's easy to get a 24 hour entry visa, although be sure to ask airport staff where to go to get it, as you will need it in your passport before you go through immigration. Getting to the hotel is relatively straightforward, although the directions from the hotel to get to the shuttle pick up area omitted that you need to exit at 2F, one floor down from the arrival hall. In the hotel I highly recommend the Chinese restaurant on the second floor. The staff are very attentive and the food is very good.

Love this hotel and the most is I love my room, it is spacious and luxurious, and the bathroom is also big. I love dining st the Chinese restaurant on level 2, delicious! Transfer to the airport and back are available every 20 minutes for free. There is an airport rail train that connects to the subway and you can go everywhere in Beijing.

Food and service is excellent. Staff is super nice and always ready to help. There is just one issue. When I walked in the breakfast buffet at 1st floor around 7AM. Feels like most of food is already gone and everyone has to wait quite a while to find something to eat. This happened twice to me.

The worst five star hotel in China! Smells cooking in the lobby, barely feel the air conditioning in the lobby and lift. Fridge doesn’t work in the room, covered with dust on the top. Yellow marks around the sink which is terrible. Drainage was blocked in the shower, had to call hotel staff to fix it. Charging points are very old. Breakfast was poor both in quality and service. Just wondering how it got five starts. The only good point is that the hotel is close to the airport, nothing else . Don’t think I will be rushing back!
