The location was good and the rooms were clean and presentable. Unfortunately we caught them at a bad time. They seemed to be extremely understaffed and the menu was restricted. I understand times are hard to attract staff so i don't want to be too critical.

The room, on the first floor, was clean and pleasant. The lift was under repair, and the repairman was unable to fix it while we were there. As in other places on our Tasmanian trip we had to find the receptionist, who was very helpful. On-site parking is very limited so we parked in the public car park across the road by the bay. We ate in the hotel restaurant, where on Friday evening there was live music (a very competent singer/guitarist) but not intrusively loud. My wife's scallops had to be sent back as they were undercooked but overall the meal was OK.

Good location and nice size room. It is an older property so there is wear and tear but this is reflected in the price. Bistro was convenient and the staff were lovely. Cheap food and drinks which was a bonus. My son and husband swam in the heated pool which was great. Only thing to note is the noise- people in the corridor and the room next door but it all ended quite early. We would stay again especially for the price.

Wonderful view from our room. The swimming pool was fantastic. Good park for my children straight across the road. Close to shops and a free community BBQ just 2min walk from the accommodation.

The carpark rooms have all been refurbished and are brand spanking new. Very high quality with soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers in the shower (which has a rain shower head btw). Bathroom sink has dispensers for soap, hand lotion, and shaving gel (brilliant). Property wasn't fully booked and I was initially allocated a room in between everyone else. Asked to ve moved to the middle and away from everyone else, and the staff were very accommodating. Dinner in the bistro was excellent and arrived promptly. This place is excellent value for a short stay and directly opposite the bay. Beautiful views.

The only thing the staff were not helpful about the lift it didn't seem to be working and the staff said it was very slow and weren't very helpful and suggested to use stairs. 2 ladies to haul suitcases upstairs. no offer to help.

This property was great value for money. We were given a $10 bistro voucher on arrival, which is always appreciated. Very friendly and helpful staff in reception, bar and restaurant. So lovely to arrive, shower and not leave the build for a nice dinner and drink. 👍

Great value. Big room. The room had an upgraded bathroom suite, but some very tired dark wooden units in the lounge. Bed and bedding was excellent. On site restaurant very good value. Lots of shops and cafes nearby.
