Location excellent, central within easy walk of cafes etc. Facility accessed by 10 steep stairs off a very narrow and sloping footpath. Sited near base of one of the endless hills in Lisbon. Our room was very spacious with good natural light. Lighting around lift area is however very poor and could be dangerous. No breakfadt offered but many cafes within a few minutes walk of hotel.

We had requested a room in high floor.Got a room in second floor and were told it was an upgrade because it had a wiev to the river. The noise from a nearby nightclub kept us awake until 4.30am.It was an absolute disaster.When confronting the reception about this matter,the seemed to be quite unawere about any noise during nighttime. The entrance to the hotel has some very steep stairs,so especially for older people with heavy bags,it can be a bit tricky. Hotel location is good.

We enjoyed staying at the hotel. They were very accommodating. We got tor the hotel early and they readily stored our bags. And when one of our bags arrived late the next day they informed the baggage handler I was on the way. Very kind in offering directions and listening to my bad puns on various items. Easily conversed in English and my broken Portuguese. A bit of a challenge getting out of the taxi as he had to stop in the middle of the narrow street. But the drivers were nice. Just know there’s limited parking.

I loved it! Very elegant, spacious and modern hotel, especially compared to other places in Lisbon. The only drawback of this hotel is the high stairs at the main entrance. It was very difficult to cart suitcases from the street up such high and numerous stairs.

Greatly enjoyed my stay. In particular, staff was professional, well, trained & responsive. The property is located in tourist-central, which can be + an and a -. A couple of things: hotel has no parking. There is a lot a few blocks away, but it would help if the Hotel put directions & address on website. Ubers are easy to get, but you have to be prepared to get your bags out of the car quickly -there is no pull off My first night I was on 1st floor on the side of the hotel overlooking pink Street. It was a small room, but well appointed with pretty much everything you need (there are no USB so you need your charger/adapter). If you are a light sleeper (I sleep with a CPAP so sleeping is difficult for me under any circumstances) you definitely do not want a room on a low floor on that side. On Tuesday night arrival for 3 night stay, the vibration of music from below goes on past 6 AM. Although beds was comfortable, linens, nice, etc, I got little sleep. One set of friends had a room on 3rd floor and did not have same issue (plus it was much bigger for essentially the same $) I went to the front desk in the morning. They were exceedingly accommodating and moved me to a room on the fifth floor that is like an artist’s attic garrett (LOVED it) was perfect for me. Just had coffee from nice breakfast staff which was free, but make sure if you’re just having coffee they don’t charge it to your room. Overall, I was very happy

There was black mold in the corner of the window, I was not happy to pay a premium for a river side view to see the mold by the window. Bathroom was large but entryway posed a tripping hazard. And the temperature of the shower was unmanageable. Going home without a shower rather than risk getting burned again. It’s a great location for walking but I won’t come back

The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean inside. The staff was not extremely friendly when we arrived. They never smiled or said hello anytime we walked across the lobby. The area the hotel is located is extremely noisy at night!! We couldn't fall asleep until 4am because of all the partying outside. We slept on the 4th floor and the curtains were thin linen and the room was flooded with light. I've never been to a hotel that didn't have block out curtains.

Pro: We enjoyed our stay. The location was close to some popular attractions. The hotel was quaint and the hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. Cons: I gave it 4 stars because the bathroom was small and there was an odd entrance. You’d have to step over a 4” partial wall, and if not careful to look for it, well, I tripped over it and hurt my wrist. I mentioned it to the hotel staff but not much was said about my injury. The shower didn’t enclose on one end so the water would overflow and flood the floor, which was annoying.

Beautiful rooms. Great location. However if you are a light sleeper then this is not the hotel for you as it is right above a few bars on Pink street. Also the bathroom in the room is half frosted so not nice if someone has ‘tummy issues’. I was expecting more from a boutique hotel like the services and products in the room but it was still a great hotel for my first time in Lisbon

The room was so unique and quaint, and made me feel like I was at home. The design decor was brilliantly done and the furniture was exactly like you would find in a super well maintained home. Ceilings were super high. I don’t know for sure but I’d say 10-12 feet. Windows were new and easy to open and close. Wooden shutters were on the inside of the windows and they were used to help protect you from the light and sound outside. The location is walking distance to so many things. Restaurants were right outside the front steps of the hotel but there is also a restaurant in the hotel. Everything was very clean and well cared for. The linen was super comfortable and cozy to sleep in with high end sheets. Staff was extremely accommodating and helpful with luggage, directions and ordering a cab to the airport. This is by far the most charming room I have ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in many classy hotels. I love the LX Boutique in Lisbon and without a doubt would stay here again.

Despite being well located and tastefully decorated my one night was disappointing. Why put a room in the attic where the roof slope restricts space, causes a hazard to anyone over 5ft tall and delivers an awkward layout that may look 'cool' but is a pain to live in! Add a glass fronted shower/loo as a central feature and you get too much 'form' not enough thought about 'function'. I won't return to the 5th floor!

Lovely comfortable bed, clean room our room overlooked pink street. Would have given a five star but you have to pay for water in room and there is no tea or coffee in the room. I have stayed in many hotels across the world this is the first time I have come across this.

It looks like the property was remodelled. Therefore, the rooms are quite nice and soundproof to the outside. Our room had automatic shades that darkened the room quite well. The evening port and sweet offered at night in the lobby was a nice touch.

The hotel staff were truly, very accommodating. I booked a cheaper room on the Pink Street side of the hotel and found it really loud overnight and was willing to cancel and not get a refund. However, the staff instead gave us an upgraded room for no extra charge and moved our bags for us so we could go out and see Lisboa. I am very grateful they accommodated me when they didn't have to. The hotel itself is very nice, clean and the elevators are very nice!

The staff there went out of there way to help us with lost luggage and where to shop to replace said items. They are in a great location and treat people with such care and respect. We were greeted warmly and accommodated very professionally. Our baggage was mishandled by the airline and the staff was very empathetic and helpful. They made it possible for us to extend our stay while we waited extra days for our luggage to catch up with us. We were close to many wonderful shops and restaurants, and staff provided excellent recommendations. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Lisbon.

Greatly enjoyed my stay. In particular, staff was professional, well, trained & responsive. The property is located in tourist-central, which can be + an and a -. A couple of things: hotel has no parking. There is a lot a few blocks away, but it would help if the Hotel put directions & address on website. Ubers are easy to get, but you have to be prepared to get your bags out of the car quickly -there is no pull off My first night I was on 1st floor on the side of the hotel overlooking pink Street. It was a small room, but well appointed with pretty much everything you need (there are no USB so you need your charger/adapter). If you are a light sleeper (I sleep with a CPAP so sleeping is difficult for me under any circumstances) you definitely do not want a room on a low floor on that side. On Tuesday night arrival for 3 night stay, the vibration of music from below goes on past 6 AM. Although beds was comfortable, linens, nice, etc, I got little sleep. One set of friends had a room on 3rd floor and did not have same issue (plus it was much bigger for essentially the same $) I went to the front desk in the morning. They were exceedingly accommodating and moved me to a room on the fifth floor that is like an artist’s attic garrett (LOVED it) was perfect for me. Just had coffee from nice breakfast staff which was free, but make sure if you’re just having coffee they don’t charge it to your room. Overall, I was very happy

We were at the end of our 3 week trip in Portugal. We were tired and ready to go home and needed an oasis for a couple of days. LX Boutique provided that. Easy to get in and out of town from the airport and a fun area to be at any time of the day. The transportation hub is right across the street and the Time Out Market just around the corner. We had a view of the river and caught some of the sunset. Not quiet but with the windows closed we had a nice nights sleep.

Hotel decor is really nice. The double room was a good size for 2 people. Didn’t hear any street noise from our room which was great. Location excellent- within walking distance to most attractions and shopping areas. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant is a sushi restaurant only, which doesn’t cater to everyone so we didn’t end up eating there but there are lots of places within walking distance so wasn’t a major issue. Would happily stay here again.

Very good stay, modern and nicely decorated. Very close to public transport, metro, trams and buses across the road and walking distance to main areas. It is right next to Pink Street and there is noise when you are outside the hotel, but I had a room looking out over Pink Street and hardly heard anything. Easy to get to using the metro from the airport, one change and was at the hotel within 20 minutes for €1.85. The hotel does have pastel de natas early evening in the foyer which I thought was a very nice touch for guests. I didn’t try the restaurant attached but it was busy every night. Room was a very good size and had everything I needed for my stay. Would recommend a stay here for the closeness to public transport, easy of walking to most places.

The hotel was very convenient for transport links, and walking to the centre. It was very clean and staff helpful. However, it you want to stay in a quiet area then this is not for you. For those seeking night life, then this is an excellent option.

Really liked this hotel! Was located in a very walkable area near bars restaurants and tourist areas. Room was nice and modern. Restaurant for breakfast was very nice! Only issue was we were on second floor. They provided ear plugs on the night stand. Woke up during the night and you could hear faint music from a bar nearby?

Beautiful and comfortable hotel with over the top service. Conveniently located within walking distance to the train station and several restaurants and bars. Even though it's near Pink Street, it was not loud at night. Only thing that could use a little improvement was the breakfast, more variety. If we go back, we'll definitely stay here again.

The hotel was great. Room was well designed and efficient. The bed and pillows were perfect. Breakfast was not huge but excellent quality and we enjoyed the space. The area turns into a great sushi restaurant worth a visit. No coffee in room, but the lobby had a machine. The welcome Port and Nata was a nice touch. The only down sides were the light leaking under the door, and the drilling bass from the clubs. When the windows were closed the sound is fine and closed shutters make the room almost completely blacked out. That bass though travels up through the hotel into your bed, and the clubs go until 6:00 am. Here’s the BUT, it is Pink Street and if you want to feel the energy of Lisbon (or at least the tourist energy) it’s a great spot. Convenient to walk up to Chiado, Time Out Market and Cais do Sodré station is right there. Walking to the Baixa is close and flat from here. If you need 8 hours sleep though not sure this is for you.

We stayed for a couple of days in May. Hotel was lovely, large room and great double shower. Staff were very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was nice and Sushi restaurant was wonderful! Be aware this is a lively area and can be noisy at night. Great location, close to attractions and transport links though.

This was an unexpected gem! The room was tiny but the location was superb. The food and coffee at Copenhagen Coffee Club was amazing. I "found" Pink Street by accident and realized how lucky I was to be so close. It was loud, but honestly I didn't hear it in my room (they give you earplugs just in case anyway) Only drawback is if you are SHORT (like under 5'3") the mirrors in the bathroom may be hard to see. I did fine, but if I were any shorter it would have been a challenge. I am going to recommend my friends to stay here when they come in October
