Internet connection was terrible but overall everything was ok.

No AC, No elevator, No shampoo, No evening reception -in short, it could be better. If you travel in summer time, be aware that the room will be hot, especially if you get a room with windows facing south. I had a "business" room, maybe slightly bigger than standard and a free bottle of water, but no shampoo. The check in didn't go as smooth as expected. I never received the door code they were supposed to send but it was resolved by phone.

No staff, not clear to return the key. No answer phone call. Mattress for beds are too soft to sleep well.

Fantastic location in the historic centre of the Town. I had a “Business” Room which was comfortable and spacious with a sitting area, almost like a “Junior Suite”. One drawback is Hotel Reception has very limited hours, but the Hotel Management is very helpful when contacted by telephone.

Excellent location and great value for money The hotel’s location is exceptional, right in the city center and next to the Christmas markets. Everything is within walking distance, which makes it very convenient. It takes about a 20-minute walk from the train station. The hotel is clean, although a bit dated. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable. Soundproofing is fairly good, there is naturally some noise in the evening due to the nearby Christmas market, but it didn’t bother us at all. Customer service was also very good. Check-in is done online prior to arrival, and although we experienced a few difficulties, someone quickly came to assist us. We also had some issues with hot water in the shower, but we eventually got used to it. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it for a stay in Aachen, especially if you want to be right in the heart of the city.
