Room was ready when we arrived. Clean and comfortable. It was pretty quiet since we were at the end of the hall. Only complaint was the pool was not cleaned and I was hoping to get in it. There was a green algae film at the bottom. Other than that it was a good stay.

Parking was limited and some vehicles were double-parked. Grounds and building could use a good pressure-washing and updated landscaping. Interior carpeting could use updating or deep steam cleaning. Overall, the facility has good amenities, felt safe, and the staff was courteous during check in and check out. I would stay here again.

First there was hair in the shower and we hadent showered yet so it wasn't ours, and the pool area had no towels so had to use the room towels and ask for more the next day. But the area was quiet pool was nice. Would stay again though.

Room was clean and quiet. Guest laundry was inexpensive and convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a very clean and well cared for room for the price. Everything felt more upscale, down to the soaps provided. They also have a washer and dryer for guests @ $1.50, convenient if you're traveling.

Easy and friendly check in. Nice breakfast. Both vending machines weren't working and we needed snacks. HEB was open until 11.

Absolutely top on our list now. We stay in Fredericksburg yearly for 4-5 days, for years. So far, our favorite. Very Clean throughout. Great smell on entering. A/C worked great. Quiet with room darkening drapes. Had fridge, hair dryer, microwave & good sized t.v. with cable. Extremely low price for the quality & cleanliness. The pool out back could use a new coat of paint next year but sitting out back in the evening with the breeze was so pleasant. Good continental breakfast, again everything was so clean. We usually have our dog & we love to bring him, i support pet friendly hotels & some relect it with smell &/or dirty. Not this place! You wouldn't know they were pet friendly. Staff was wonderful & very accommodating. Definitely will be our destination hotel for Fredericksburg, Texas.

The hotel itself was fairly decent stay. The desk clerk that greeted us was friendly and professional. The room was nice. The A/C worked proficiently. The pool needed some attention, but we were able to enjoy the pool. The breakfast was not as good as other hotels we have stayed at. There were some challenges to the amenities that were offered. However, the coffee was very good. We opted to eat breakfast out. The area was very safe and secure. We would stay at this hotel again. Not the best, but certainly not the worst hotel we have stayed at!!!

The rooms are fine, the hotel was quiet. Parking is very tight if you have a large truck, you may have to double park to ensure you can make the turn out of the lot. Breakfast isn't much of anything but it is included. Its a fine basic hotel at an excellent price.

There is never someone who works at the hotel at the desk. You have to ring a bell. Our room had roaches, mold and a general dingy feel.

The exterior and lobby area are perfectly fine but the rooms are in desperate need of work; mold on bathroom ceiling and walls (and bathroom fans that don't work so there's constant steam buildup) and the metal door jambs are corroded and rusting. And, because it's Fredericksburg, you pay a LOT for rooms that really do look like no one can be bothered to do basic upkeep.

The room was clean and spacious, the beds were hard, the breakfast was okay, coffe was not! Good location, close to Main street.

The staff was friendly and the grounds well kept. The location is very convenient to HEB and to Main St. The walls are super thin -- could hear conversations and the TV in the next room as well as voices and doors closing in the hall. It didn't sound like the other guests were raising their voice. Not much room on the bathroom vanity, especially for a "King" room, so if you like to take your makeup out of the bag to use it, or if there are 2 guests sharing counter space, one will most likely need to put their stuff on the counter by the TV. Property has Direct TV. I was there on a weekend and couldn't find a local channel for news or anything else besides really outdated movies. I prefer options with local channels and national news/weather. When I did find a news channel, the program guide said it wouldn't start until "Sunday at 9 am" or "Monday at 6 am." I was going to be gone Saturday morning. The price was VERY reasonable (under $100/night with taxes/fees), and the room was clean. The hot water (and water pressure) was great. Refrigerator was handy. Breakfast ok -- waffle maker is always a plus -- but boiled egg was more like "poached" because it was runny. It's a good place for one or 2 nights, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay if you're a light sleeper.

Surprised at how much more I liked this little motel than I thought I would! We booked last minute for Valentine's night.....everything else in town was booked up. The good reviews caught my attention, so we took a chance. The room was spotless, shower pressure good, bed comfortable. Only complaint- while there was fridge microwave and ironing board in room, there was no coffee maker, an almost fatal flaw. The coffee available downstairs was meh. Next time we stay (and there will be a next time), we'll bring our own coffee maker. So coffee lovers, come prepared and you will enjoy this little gem that is so much more affordable than other Fredericksburg options.

The room was hot as hell. The a/c could not keep up

It has good prices. The location is close to main street. However the bed we had was too hard and I ended up with a stiff back the next day.

The air conditioning was noisy and did not cool well enough

We stayed on the 2nd floor and had a family with a kid above us and heard everything. Very loud when walking.

Extremely good value for area, my only complaint was WiFi was horrible, I think it was because my room was in the back but stayed for work and could not stay connected to WiFi and when it was connected it was slow

Yes, When we got there, the room felt small and the bed was a little too high off the ground but we got used to the room and the breakfast was good too. Sometimes the waffle maker didn't work. But the staff fixed it quickly when asked. It grew on us.

Breakfast so-so. No USB ports in room. Towels thread bare. Room very clean.

They called to verify that i was still arriving and check in was fast

Key card failed to work after 4 trips downstairs to get resolved. Front desk finally sent someone to help on 5th attempt. I was unable to leave the room for fear of not being able to get back in. Tv did not work either. So stuck in room with not functioning tv.

The owner checked us in and was very understanding when mom and I arrived early. Not extremely early. But, mom has just had surgery and he was accommodating to our need. We got to our room and I tucked mom in and she was fast asleep shortly after. The beds and pillows are absolutely a dream. Room is impeccably clean and quiet.

This was the second time staying here. the staff was courteous and attentive. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, not alot of options, but i was okay with it. will stay again.

The personal behind the counter were friendly, caring. The manager or owner was not. I won't go back.

The rooms need an update. I was in an access room and the seat was coming apart and mold was between the splits. I also think the front staff needs to be educated about ADA accessibility and service dogs. I was told I had to have a certificate/card for my service dog. I advised that she could not ask for documentation, but could ask if 1) my dog was in fact a service dog and 2) what service my animal provided. She continued to insist that I had to have a card to prove my animal was an assistance animal. FinallyI just told her I'd pay the additional pet fee and review that they did not follow ADA guidelines. In the end my service dog was allowed, a somewhat heated conversation happened, and it was an awkward stay to say the least. I wouldn't go back. Fredericksburg has a dozen cute hotels. Pay the little extra and go somewhere that has updated digs.

Prepaid four days. Stayed one night. Room had a horrible smell. They offered another room or refund of three remaining days. After consideration, I called later to check out and request refund. They refused.

It’s a beautiful small hotel, and the staff were so kind. I called almost two hours before we had to check in to see if we were able to check in early and they let us.

For price we paid it was perfect, 3/4 of a mile from mainstreet, the building and room was dated but very clean.

It is a great choice for us due to the location. Very ease access and close to all of the places we came to visit. We had a great stay!

Rooms seemed old and were hot. The fridge had a strong smell that made our food and drinks taste weird. Shower leaked all over the floor. Cereal was stale at breakfast. There are also no sidewalks, so even though you’re close to downtown, it’s not really walkable.

Not bad room for the price. Room was reasonably big and comfy. Not very close if you want to walk to town.

We did have a problem with the waffle maker but they came a fixed it for us. Other than that it was a nice stay.

What we did not like was the breakfast at the motel was not up to what we thought it was going to be. There was no scrambled eggs. There was no sausage. There was no biscuits. All it was was cold food breakfast we expected a better breakfast

Wish there was more hot food options for breakfast. But fresh fruit and oatmeal was good enough! Staff was super nice. Love.
