The entryway is beautiful and unique. The staff at check in and check out were amazing . Our room was pretty large with a pull out couch. The room was clean.The pool and spa were closed for most of our stay but was cleaned and fixed pretty quickly. The elevator shutters it is a little unnerving. The breakfast was a little lean but good.

The pool was slimy… no one should enter it.. the hot tub was not much better… the room phone did not have a cord.. so I guess the phone bill saves them money… the room A/C leaked inside the room.. sure there is mole under the carpet… I did a staycation to rest and relax in the indoor pool just to be very disappointed.. so not worth staying at this local facility… don’t waste your money..

This is a run down outdated hotel with advertised pictures that don’t match the facilities actual amenities. The breakfast was very limited; although, they advertise a full breakfast. The swimming pool wasn’t an updated one not to mention from the looks it wasn’t sanitary. The bar area was outdated, one low budget tequila, and the casino only had slot machines, are you serious. Please tear down and rebuild or spend on updates for this outdated facility to the standards of travelers looking for a great quality stay that matches the prices you’re charging!

Hotel is ok. Needs alot of TLC. Pool area is nor sanitary. Looks like it hasnt been.cleaned in months. Elevator seemed like it would to break down. Key wouldnt work when I returned back to room feom event.

TV did not work in first room was moved to another it was fine. When I went to get ice the machine was out of service. The racing venue was not good and casino not much better a total second rate rinky dink operation all the way around was not worth going.

Service was very helpful. First room the tv didn't work but they gave us a new room asap. Not much of a view but very clean, spacious and comfortable. Elevator was suspect though. Made lots of noise and vibrates.

I was given a “smoking” room w/o requesting one. The sheets/blankets were dirty/stained/ripped. The staff was very friendly. But we won’t return. $150 for 1 night was way overpriced for the room.

I have stayed in hotels all over the world, even third world countries. I have never stayed in a hotel in the United States that was as filthy, unkept, and understaffed as this one. There is black mold in the bathroom. When I hung up my washcloth over the bathtub faucet to dry, I came back to see a completely rusty washcloth. Rust is literally coming out of the pipes. The carpet is so filthy and damaged, I've just never seen anything like it. There's so understaffed that when I went to check out, no one was at the counter. When I inquired a woman that worked there told me that there's only one person behind the counter and that she does multiple jobs and I would just have to wait.I waited 15 minutes before I left. Terrible place to stay for the money spent!!!!

Real cute hotel, unfortunately my kids had lines of bites on their legs and feet after staying the night there. My oldest slept on the pullout couch, and the bed had not been made from the previous guest.

1. Room heater did not work, leaving the room at approx 55°. When i was duscussing it with the Attendant (Jazz'lyn) who had better pe ople skills, can-do/attitude than the "manager". 2. The manager who slinked out upon hearing my dissatisfaction, refused to call me or my Hotels.com representative. But rather quite mockingly stated that they would try to meet my idea of what 5*s should be, next time. E 3. There will be no next time. My grandfather in law helped build that area as the sheriff for many years, & ran an integrated club in an area that would be a homebase for 10,000+ Gertrude Ramon decendents. Evangeline Downs motel.6 isnt contributing to positive growth respect and culture our family establised.

Hotel was nice but dated. Shower was pretty nice the bedroom wasn't as clean as you would hope. The bed and pillows slept good and the noise of the hotel overall wasn't bad. I will be staying there again in the future every month with business.

I was really excited to finally get a room at the casino hotel, was disappointed. Has no smile and of course important. But most of all human room, I tried everything to get the humidity out. Even a damp rid to try!! So uncomfortable at night!

The original room that was assigned to me AC was out. Talked to the night staff regarding issue and she reset the system and told me to call if the issue wasn’t fixed. Called the front desk about an hour later and she didn’t offer any solutions over the phone. Told me she would contact her manager to see if we could be moved to a different room. I decided to go down to front desk to figure out a solution and she seem quite reluctant to do anything to help with issue because they were double booked for the next night. The worst hotel I’ve stayed in. Check in was an 1.5 hours wait. Water pressure completely dropped mid shower. And the was some sort of party across from my room last night. I will never stay at this hotel again

Very small for a Casino Hotel, especially the dining area. Not enough room for guest to get breakfast and/or sit. Have only 1 waffle maker, which was the only highlight to the offered breakfast. Extremely limited choices. Line out the door waiting. Purchased breakfast items from grocery store to avoid the poor service. Gathered dirty towels, asked housekeeper for replacements. Couldn't get any because they're in the wash. 'Put the dirty ones outside your door and it will be taken away with replacements brought to you', I was told. Never happened. After being out for 9 hours or more, towels were still outside the room's door. Had to go to the front desk to resolve. Inconvenient and unfriendly experience. Thanks but no thanks. Will not make the mistake to stay at this hotel or recommend it in the future.

I enjoyed the quiet halls. My room was close to the elevator and you did not hear any noise. The parking was easy and convenient. I wish the restaurants were open 24/7 but I have stayed here before and will stay again.

Key did not work properly and had to stand fiddling with it for some time (even after getting it reset); sheets were never changed (stayed there seven days); staff entered room even though I had Do Not Disturb sign and left dirty towel and feces in toilet! Filed a complaint and was called once; tried calling back but did not get a callback (I was making arrangements for my sister’s funeral, so I could not continually call). Breakfast was good.

When we got to the room ut was old and musty. We placed the bags down and by the foot of the bed the carpet was wet. The bed was hard and the bathroom was not ventilated. The dresser drawers kept opening when you walk by them. The plus side, the AC worked. The breakfast was horrible with a lot of broken items and a mystery drink in their juice machine

Service was impeccable! Our room was clean and ready at check-in. I reserved a room with the whirlpool tub, The whirlpool jets were not working but the huge tub was still amazing! There was plenty of parking space. The casino is a little crowded, but there was a concert beforehand where we got $10 in free credit to play, so that was to be expected. It is very smokey. We ate at The Spotted horse. Our waitress was amazing and so was the food. The sweet potato mash is like a dessert in itself.
