Only had hot water 1 out of 3 days. Pool was green with either algae or too much chlorine so no swimming. Breakfast was okay and bed was very comfortable. Air conditioner had to be lowered to mid 60’s but still seemed lacking on being able to cool the room. Beware of front entry to hotel, you will drag in a car or if you have a trailer, very steep.

The elevator was down while we stayed but everything else was a pleasing accommodation. Definitely would stay here again- elevator permitting! Great place to stay and definitely clean which was a high priority on my travel list.

The room itself was good, except it was incredibly humid for some reason. I'm from a similar area, but the room felt damp. There's nothing wrong with the room overall, but I use a CPAP and it was so humid in the room that the water literally dripped in the mask. There is no working ice machine. Other than that, the gym is very nice. It had dumbbells, benches, and a cable machine. The staff was helpful when presented with an issue. The hotel itself is newer, and it was clean. The big thing is it was very affordably priced. The air-conditioning worked very well.

The property is run down. The tile floor in the elevator is in bad need of repair or replacement. Ice machine on my floor was not working. Plus, the room we were given was very loud with interstate car and truck traffic rumbling constantly throughout the night. I said to my wife, "It sounds just like we are sleeping on the median." I will avoid this hotel at all cost in the future and recommend others do the same.

The staff was very helpful. We needed to check in early. Our room wasn’t available so they upgraded us to a different rooms so we could check in early, which was awesome. The elevator is scary. Makes a bunch of noise. There’s warning signs not to exceed two people. The continental breakfast was by far the worst representation of a continental breakfast I’ve ever had at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at the powderedeggs and the sausage were cold to touch. They were very few options.

It is the best of the choices in the Cleveland area but it's time for them to update the rooms. The pool is semi-clean tinges of green sometimes. The baseboards are coming off in one of the double queen rooms. The ceiling in the bathroom of another double queen room has black mildew on it. The tub has been stopped up every time we visit this place, diff rooms, tub is still not draining well.

This hotel was very nice. Lobby was nice and clean. Our suite was very roomy and nice, clean and comfortable. Getting into the parking lot is a little tricky but ample parking.

Very clean with a pleasant smell in the lobby and hallways. (YAY! Not a bleach smell when you walk in the reception area and No smoke smell, either!) Comfy beds and pillows. Good black-out curtains at window. Very quiet hotel, too. We are super glad we switched to now booking at Comfort Inn after staying at a local competitor for years. Comfort Inn was nicer, quieter and more affordably priced. When does that ever happen!? We’ve already booked another stay here. :)

We checked in got to our room and had to go back to the front desk. The room was not clean, tv on bed messed up and dirty towels and trash left from previous guests. Only options we were given were to clean the room ourselves or get a refund and book a different hotel.

Three floor in the room has some kind of large, sticky spill on the floor when I checked in. The issue was resolved quickly when I reported it. The coffee in the breakfast lounge was really good. The food was mediocre at best. My room was on the first floor, which was incredibly loud with foot traffic and loud voices/sounds at all hours. I recommend asking for a room on any other floor. The room overall was clean. There was a refrigerator, but it didn't get very cold, so we weren't able to store anything in there. The bathroom was clean and stocked with the usual amenities, soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner.

The Hotel was clean and staff was friendly but there was no shampoo and there were 2 lights out on the vanity. Unfortunately we were given a room by the highway so sleep was out of the question.

This is the only decent hotel near Sam Houston National Forest. It was clean. But coffee was terrible, and you can hear everything through the walls. No other real options in the area.

Large rooms for a very low rate. TV remotes did not work. Called front desk, no answer. They did call back quickly and told me to turn the TV on and off from the side of TV. Same for the volume. This was BOTH TV’s. Went to take showers when we woke up and water never got hot, stayed lukewarm. Listened to people walking and running the hall the floor above us until 3 in the morning so very little sleep. Would not stay again.

Was charged twice for deposit and the deposit were not returned. The staffs foreign accent was so thick I was barely able to communicate with them. The bathroom faucet leaked out onto the sink when the water was turned on. Floor at the baseboard area was dirty. It was obvious that if the vacuum didn’t clean it up it wasn’t going to get cleaned.The food for breakfast was only brought out in amounts to feed about 3 people. I watched as several people did without eggs or sausage because there wasn’t any in the trays. We went in to eat at 8:30 and there wasn’t even any waffle mix available. We won’t ever stay there again.

The staff was awesome. I saw the manager walking around and taking the time to make sure everything was clean on the property. He was also quick at refilling the breakfast station. Breakfast was amazing. The staff at check in ( Nicole) was super up beat & very nice. Our room was very clean. I've stayed here multiple times & love it

tv was not working, and I called front desk. they promptly came upstairs and plugged in an hdmi cable that the previous occupant had removed. very friendly and very quick. recommend comfort inn when visiting cleveland and the bell unit.

We stayed here in December of 24 and had a great stay. Based on that we decided to stay there on our latest trip. First, back in December we had our Certified Emotional Support Animal with us and there was no additional charges. This time they charged us $40 a night pet fee at check-in, no mention of additional fee when booking. Next, the room smelled of mildew and there was no water pressure on the morning of day one. Front desk personnel stated that it was due to too many people taking a shower at the same time. Came back after our day full of activities and once again no water pressure. This time the front desk personnel said it is a city wide problem but the first floor had pressure but not the third floor. Morning of day two we jad zero water to even flush the toilet needless to say take a shower. The staff completely disregard our complaints and did not concern themselves with anything other than processing our payment at check-in. Absolutely last time I stay at any Choice Hotel.

On my visit, the desk worker, Nick, was terrific! Very nice, accommodating. Made sure area was neat and clean, dining area was supplied. On a different day, different worker, almost no breakfast food, and was slow to resupply...but pleasant demeanor. Overall, decent experience.

Beds were super comfy, room was extremely clean and smelled great. The day we arrived, the pool was green, but that's because we had just had a bunch of rain. It was crystal clear and beautiful blue the next day and we enjoyed having a chance to swim. The breakfast selection was amazing! It wasn't your typical continental breakfast with prepackaged honey buns and coffee.. they had waffles, eggs, sausage, fruit, cereal and so on. And the coffee was actually pretty good! We would definitely say there again.

Great overall.. hotel room was nice and clean.. staff was fairly friendly. There was no hot tub as stated in the amenities...only issue was breakfast items not available even though we were one of the first there. No syrup for the waffles we took the time to make .. and no juice.

This was a nice, clean hotel. Website stated room slept 4, but hotel only stocks bathroom with towels for 3. Hotel had breakfast hours posted as 6 a.m to 9 a.m., but I came down to eat, get coffee then check out, but nothing was set up for breakfast.

Walking in the door it seems pretty basic. But once I saw the room it was very nice. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was better than I anticipated over all I was comfortable and served well.
