Check in was fast, friendly. Room looked nice and was very clean. Room is better suited to a one night stay where your not in room very long. We stayed three nights and room is not set up for comfort for any length of time. Only one chair and a desk no other place to sit for second guest. Chair was broken with rope tying the legs together, totally unsafe. We asked housekeeping to swap it out which they did. Ice machine required a quarter to use in order to kerp homeless people from using it. Management gave me a quarter the first use but we paid for the rest of the times. I was not going to ask for a quarter at least twice a day to use it. Tub function was broke and only shower was available. Sink stopper was not even present so water had to run while shaving. Not eco-friendly. Bed was firm/comfortable and clean. Room refrigerator didn't have freezer section. Room was centralized to shopping and restaurants.

Stayed 2 nights here. Generally unkempt appearance such as wallpaper peeling off the walls, rusted door stoppers, bathroom door didn't fit, swimming pool is just part of the parking lot and empty. That being said, the beds were one of the most comfortable we had during our 2 week road trip (bit harder and good back support). Also it was quiet at night.

I had to clean my motel room myself. Owner does not allow staff to use hot water and bleach/ soap to clean floors, tub, toilet and sink. The smell last time in the room was gross after the cleaning. After I cleaned the floor (after housekeeping cleaned it), the floor was filthy. My swifter wipes were dark from dirt.

While it looks a little outdated from the outside, the rooms look newly renovated. There are a few touch ups that need to happen, at least in the room we stayed in. The shower was still a bit outdated and water pressure wasnt great. But overall worked perfectly for our one night stay to visit my sister. It was just me and one other person in the room.

This was a quick overnight stop during a longer road trip so it was fine for a place to sleep. Easy access from freeway. Room was renovated not too long ago but they could definitely invest in new towels, sheets, softer beds, hangers, etc. Staff was nice especially for a late night check in. Most other patrons seemed to be construction workers who left very early. Many guys smoking in parking lot in the morning but overall, fine for the money.

This was a bargain room in the area. I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice this room was. It was very clean, and looked like it was updated recently. The bed was comfortable, it had various sizes of pillows, which I greatly appreciate with a neck disorder. The shower had instantaneous hot water. Also, the heater/air conditioner worked flawlessly, keeping the room at a comfortable temperature with the fan on low-constant. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Check in/out was really easy. Beds were comfy. Only thing we encountered was the light outside the bathroom above sink was very dim; yet the night light was too bright at night and wouldn't turn off which kept the room brighter during the night. Other than that - great stay!

While updated and clean this, bare bones property lacked do not disturb signs and chains to keep someone with a key from entering. The AC had a very specific yrine smell. When I arrived, I asked for no cleaning service during my stay as I had work items that I didnt want disturbed. When I departed the first morning I let the coeaning lady know, no service. The next evening I returned to find my room had been "cleaned" and personal items moved around. The next day I was in the shower when a coeaning oerson entered the room. The bathroom door was open so I asked her to keave. She proceeded to continue talking to me. I finally should. "Please Leave!" I went to the front desk. The same man who checked me in was there. I told him that I had asked not to have cleaning service. He said, "Who checked you in?" I saud, " I believe you did." He said, "You didnt tell me you didnt want service. I remember." He didnt remember checking me in, but he remembered me NOT asking for cleaning service? He continued to argue with me instead of offering any sort of apology, when I told him what had happened. He gave me a do not disturb sign....why didn\'t I have one already? Why would staff proceed into the room, when I was clearly in the shower? Creepy. Never again.

We needed a no frills value room while we were in town moving our son and family to the area. This was perfect. Super friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed. Fast food etc as well as Walmart near by so very convenient. We will stay again when we visit him.

My husband and I have booked at Colton Inn more than fives times! The hotel is close to grocery stores, fast food, gas, starbucks and the freeway! The room is always clean, staff is courteous, and reasonable price! Furniture and room is a little outdated and ventilation could be better but overall great stay!

Last minute reservation, in which I reserved the room for the wrong date. The owner was very accommodating, and just checked me in for after the stroke of midnight. Very kind of him to do so, made my life easier since I didn’t have to explain my error to my wife. The room was very clean, beds comfortable. Would stay here again on a trip from Tucson to Modesto CA. GREAT donut shop across the street from the motel….how do I know it is great, take it from an ex-cop. Try the apple fritter….

My family was looking for a place to stay for a week while we scouted colleges for our daughter and vacationing. We needed something affordable and clean. The Colton Inn fit the requirements. It is an older motor lodge, but decently maintained. The cleaning crew did a great job taking care of us each day. Beds were freshly made, clean towels supplied and the room tidied up every day. We have been at more expensive chains who will only service your room every2-3 days during extended stays. Not the Colton Inn, it was restocked every day. The rooms are all around the edge of a central parking courtyard, so for the most part you can park right in front of your room (we got in really late a couple of nights and had to park a couple of spots away, but that was not an inconvenience. The parking area was well lighted and we never felt unsafe during our stay. They don't have a complimentary breakfast, but there are several places nearby in town for that. The room had a mini refrigerator and a microwave, provided a small coffee maker and even had clothes iron. There is a swimming pool in the courtyard that you can access with your room key. We didn't use it, but it looked clean. All in all a clean, comfortable and safe place to stay.
