When we arrived we noticed remodeling due to a previous water pipe break (we were told) Dangerous incomplete flooring, dust and plastic visquene semi covering “stuff” In our room the bathroom door needed to be FORCED closed, bath tub drain has a not secured drain cover. Continental breakfast is NON offered due to remodeling would have appreciated that prior to Peppermill commitment. I have photos of everything I mentioned above.

Pancake batter ran out & they didn’t refill it. Hotel & furnishings are dated & in need of a refresh. Parking can be an issue as it is an oddly small lot. I felt the rate was high considering the state of the facility, lack of pool & it was not close to any attractions, dining, shopping etc. Nightly rate was less at a hotel on the coast close to the beach that had a pool,sauna & hot tub & was near shops & restaurants.

A lot of out dated product that is no longer a convenient. Vending machine are down. Hot water pressure is not good. Seem like shared hot water. Ventilation could improve. Check in staff, check in the wrong person at first. They didn’t confirm full name and what kind of room. Just assumed. I didn’t caught the mistake until I was about to sign the paper work. Minor stuff that can used improvement but not major issue. Overall decent stay but just a few works here and there.

Front desk got snappy when I asked about my request for a first floor handicap room. Entire first floor was torn up. We had to park where we took our luggage up 4-5 stairs, then down the same number to get to the elevator. Floor was being retiled, tile spacers were in between the tiles. Made it very uncertain where we could walk. Some things would be nice to know ahead of time, especially when you’re older. Very noisy at night!

Great value. I stay here a few times a year and I am always surprised how clean and well maintained the whole property is. There are a ton of food options within 5 minutes. For the price, it’s the best value in the area.

The hotel is basic and clean. The staff was polite and the room was clean. The room was also hot when I arrived so I turned on the AC. It was VERY loud. I asked the front desk if I could try a different room. But they were booked up. I had to keep the AC on because it was a hot day. But it was hard to sleep with that very loud AC unit.

Pros: Great location for baseball at the Hub, hotel was very clean, great price, nice breakfast. Cons: Room smelled really musty, the king bed was hard and so creaky you couldn’t move an inch without a ton of noise, very close to the freeway so lots of road noise. Overall not bad for a one night stay, I would stay again.. just avoid the creaky bed in room 301.

Room was clean which was the most important thing since we only stayed one night. Good value as it’s the cheapest vs other non-motels. However. The walls were not really sound-proof. Easily hear talking from next room even though they were not screaming. If you are a light sleeper you may want to consider another property.

Needs updated a/c & heat. It works but is extremely loud. There is no way to charge phones unless you bring a wall adapter which puts the phone too far from the bed. The people were very helpful and the frig was excellent. I had a mobility room which was good but needs to update bed and fix the room phone. Not everyone has a cell phone.

Property was clean and conveniently located. Day desk person this morning was excellent and very helpful. At check in, the evening clerk was efficient but did not offer to help when I had clear issues with the doors and the cart. Auto doors should be installed. I won't be back.

I wouldn't choose this place again. My room was given to someone else before I arrived. The one I got was shabby, with a light that didn't turn on, a coffee maker with a loose handle, a kleenex holder that protruded weirdly from the wall, and lots of noise. Besides the children galloping like elephants overhead, there was the highway traffic, the wind whistling in the roof area, and the incredibly loud air conditioner (which did not allow temperature to be set.) Breakfast was okay, nothing great. Staff were overworked but pleasant.

I never got a chance to see this hotel, which seemed very nice for the price. I had paid for the room online, but unfortunately lost my wallet earlier that day and did not have a credit or debit card for incidentals. I had gone to my bank and had sufficient cash with me for a deposit. Unfortunately the property was totally inflexible about the need for a debit card and the manager did not exhibit any concern for my plight. She just kept referring to hotel policies, but she violated another hotel policy and gave me a refund of my non-refundable room charge. If I had given her a debit card with a $1 balance in the account, she would have accepted it, but a $100 cash deposit was a bridge too far. This kind of selective inflexibility is not only unethical but also bad for business. Fortunately I found a hotel nearby that was willing to work with my situation.

Just stayed one night. It was convenient to the Hwy, had to drive to restaurants tho. Pillows were foam, large and awful. The room had all the basics- microway, coffee, frig, decent table for take-out (we had a pet). The flip side to convenient to the Hwy is that it was noisy, ugly view out the window.

I requested a late check out for 1pm but they denied it because they said they had a big group coming in the next day!?!? Which makes no sense. Check in isn’t till 3pm so they had 26 hrs to get the room cleaned by the next day. So not very accommodating. The free breakfast is awful also.

We had an overnight stay here while traveling home. The bed was very noisy and uncomfortable. The coffee tasted more of water, the pancake maker was broken and the only protein choice was hard boiled eggs. Pretty expensive stay for the lack of comfort.

Overall, this hotel is okay enough, if you aren't wanting to spend much. But, I would not repeat my stay for the price I paid. Noisy, bad mattress; worst breakfast I've ever encountered at a hotel, no matter the price. The young man working the check in counter was super helpful, super efficient, super friendly with a smile. He will go far; this place...probably not.

We got into town 2 hours before the memorial we were going to. We stopped at the hotel to see if we could check in early since check in was at 3. The clerk said a room was ready but we would have to pay an extra $30. I told her no way and left. After the memorial we went back and a different clerk was working the desk. He asked how my day was going and I told him okay except for the fact that we couldn’t check in early without paying $30. He proceeded to tell me that is common practice. I told him I’ve never in my entire 73 years had been asked to pay extra for early check in. He proceeded to ask me if I thought I was special and should get allowed to check in early without paying extra! I have never ever been treated like this! I told to stop arguing with me get me checked in! The hotel itself was fine. It was clean and quiet. We couldn’t find any usb ports anywhere and had to unplug lamps to use the plug ins. I’m not sure we would ever stay there again just because of the way I was treated.

It was a great stay. They have a mini fridge and a microwave. You can even open the window a few inches, and there's AC. The lady at the front desk even kept the breakfast available for me for an extra few minutes until I could get downstairs. That was very helpful. Then I forgot my phone in my room and was running late. The lady quickly made me a key for the room that I just checked out of and I was able to rush up to the 3rd floor to get it. That meant a lot me for her to be aware of my urgency and act quickly to make a key for me to get into the room. Thanks to the staff.
