Cozy Inn

Our room looked like it was in the process of being renovated but wasn’t finished. Paint on the old carpet, no baseboards, the shower head looked like it had been jammed into the wall with putty around it. Overall very poor condition. I would not stay here again.

The property was clean but definitely in the process or need of an updating. TV was not easy to operate and there were no directions. Staff was not present at the front desk when we wanted to check out and get an accounting of our bill. Evening staff were very friendly and check in was quick. Easy access to services and main highway.

Room was not ready at check-in time because there were no available clean rooms. Once we got into the room at 9:30 pm, we discovered all of the baseboard trim had been ripped off of the walls, glue and soiled stains on walls, dead bugs in corners of flooring, soiled sheets with stains that had not been changed since the last guest, and we had to request all new bedding. Manager handed us new sheets and we had to strip our own beds and put on new linens ourselves.

Room was clean but the shower curtain rod was barely attached to the wall. The TV remote back was broke. You couldn't turn the TV on with the remote or turn up and down the volume. The coffee maker in the room was not clean. The walls were repainted but weren't finished. The fridge didn't really get cold even with it adjusted to coldest. The breakfast selection wasn't the best. By the time we wrre leaving, most of the food they had was already gone. Also was charged extra from my original booking and I have no idea why. I sent an email to them to see what the extra $30 charge was for.

Breakfast was very limited. Hotel is in a quiet, safe area. Close to shopping and food. Older hotel, but clean.
