Fantastic location - just across small street from boardwalk along the beach - fantastic location to access the beach and see the sunset. Clean, comfortable, and spacious rooms. Breakfast was good, and there were other amenities like a hot tub and fire pit available. Nearby restaurant with good food. Very pleasant ambiance and quick drive to Hearst Castle. The Castle Inn was a great place to visit!

We had a wonderful night stay. The front desk clerk (Jack, I think) was super nice and helpful. The room was clean and the shower was nice. We took advantage of the fire pit in the evening. We had a dinner down the street. We just walked over ate and walked back to the hotel. Everything was great. Oh! And we had a beautiful view from our window!

Breakfast menu was sparse. Walls are paper thin so I heard in stereo from three different rooms, above and to both sides, dads yelling at their kids, feet stomping, and marital arguments. While the property is in a good location, the price per night was not commensurate with the overall experience. Avoid.
