My hotel stay was short but pleasant. I was concerned because of the reviews, I read about the homeless ppl in the area. Although there are a couple in the vicinity (not inside) it wasn't nerve-racking . I never felt unsafe nor did they bother me. The hotel was clean and it smelled good. My room was clean, the beds were comfy. There was an issue with the tub filling up as I showered. It was resolved immediately. There is a supermarket on the corner which was wonderful. There is a train station directly around the corner from the supermarket which we used to get to the museums and the monuments as well as the zoo.I didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, however I did eat at the restaurants around the hotel. I did use the pool which is the only thing I seen that can use some maintenance. My family used the gym it wasn't fancy but it served it's purpose. The front desk staff was polite and helpful when needed. Jackie and Ebony went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again for my next visit to DC.
