The property was not the one advertised. It was old, rundown, ice machine was broken, smelly even by being non smoking. It was a disappointment.

Upon arrival, we were a little ahead of the check in time. other hotels they usually will allow early check in if rooms are available, so I wasnt fully expecting one. They had 1 room available. It was 2 hrs before actual check in so they gave it to us. But also said itd be a $20/early check in fee. Ok, didnt question it as i know some will charge it but Id never actually been charged from other hotels. Then we find out the outdoor pool & ice vendings are all out of service. The pool was 1 of the reasons we were staying there. Again, not huge deal, but finding outdoor pools was harder so we were excited to get some pool & sun together. We had 2 nights there but the 2nd night the people in room next to us had a dog that wouldnt stop barking so we checked out before midnight & found somewhere else to stay. Im all for animals but it was excessivly barking at every thing.

No pool, went to another hotel.

The pool was closed, the ice machines unplugged and not working, the shower was only very hot or very cold, the bathroom floor was filthy, and commotion of other guests and emergency vehicles made our night quite unpleasant.

The carpet stank and had not been cleaned properly. The two ice machines were out of order and the pool was closed. I would not recommend this motel at all!

We had the Jacuzzies tub room. The jets didn't work there was dirt at the head of the bed and tables and chair. there was only two towels and wash cloths. not much to choose from on breakfast, and the pool wasn't working, and ice machine didn't work.

Only reason i picked it was it had a pool where as a similar hotel across the street from it didnt have a pool but after getting checked in we found we were not allowed to swim because it was closed for maintenance which amounted to no one had cleaned it that day which i gladly could have broke out the net and done it for them. Also lots of shady people were all around the place. There was some sitting outside their rooms smoking marijuana and yes im sure it was pot im from oklahoma so if you know ya know.

We had multiple days the pool was broken. The breakfast food was not replenished. The front desk wasn’t helpful. It was moderately clean.

Hotel was nice. Both ice machines broke. We stayed 3 days and no maid service. But it’s a $72 motel. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Nice fridge, tv and bathroom. Easy 6 or 7. Would come back.

The breakfast was good for continental breakfast. Pool was closed during my stay.

Horrible location. Mites flying all over the room. Cockroach in bathroom. Ripped furniture. Non smoking rooms are really not non smoking. Rooms felt very unsanitized.

Carpet was wet, roaches were present, no hot water in shower, bathroom light was not working, carpet was worn out, door did not close properly. Worst hotel I ever stayed in

It was Roach infested they where climbing on the walls my daughter was killing them .They where in the bathroom on the floor behind the doors dead housekeeping is not cleaning well

The room had holes in the wall, stains on the furniture, and smashed bugs on the lamp. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. I ended up leaving and booking elsewhere.

There was evidence of bed bugs and roaches. The bedding was “fresh.” It had fresh blood on them….. It was disgusting.

The room was not clean. The bathtub still had black dirt prints in the bottom. The sink drain was not draining and left the sink dirty. The top covers on the bed still had stains on it. in the 30 years of traveling for business this one was the werst. If I had time that evening I would has found a different hotel.

For under $100 it was acceptable. The room was clean, but it felt damp and the carpet felt nasty. Most of the light switches didn't turn anything on and the only way to turn the sink light off was to unplug it. It was a little run down, but it's adequate for a place to stay the night.

Found a bed bug in our room and all they did was move us rooms and said “it happens” and the breakfast wasn’t the best

Toilet did not work properly, bugs in room, musty smell to the room, breakfast very limited and coffee ran out.

I arrived late to the property, approximately 1000p, and was a bit anxious having noticed the "no after hours check-in" after I booked the non-refundable room, but no worries! Check-in was efficient, the room was as expected, the property was as expected, everything was just as I was hoping it to be, except for the roaches skittering about under the television. Took me by surprise, honestly, and I was too exhausted to request a different room. That was the only issue I had.

Even with a sign advertising newly renovated, besides the lobby nothing was new or renovated. The furnishings were broken and poorly assembled the refrigerator was being supported by a piece of plywood, the bed was shifted off the base.. banged my shin three times getting in and out. The walls are thin, the outside stairs were loud, the door had a 3/4" gap across the bottom, the inside of the bathroom door was water damaged and delaminating. Was double guessing our stay when we arrived other guests giving a head nod.. looks like there are a few long stays since their are camp chairs outside some rooms.. locals said there are some questionable activites in the area, loud arguing at midnight. Breakfast was sparse, coffee and mini muffins...Really disappointed not like our stay only 4 years ago.

Beds were not as comfortable. Seem to be wearing out. But over all, great.

Dirty, smelly, the toilet leaked, the door had a gap all the way around it.. The shower had good water pressure was about the only good point.

We left almost immediately and and went to the Country Inn and Suites. The room had a horrible musty smell and both beds had a sag in them. The bathroom light did not work and there was a dead fly laying on the AC unit.

Good location for an overnight stay for I-10 travelers close to interstate and many dining options. Mattress was comfortable however the pillows were very poor. Balled up polyfill and stained. Also bathroom floor was not mopped.

Hot tub in room was broken and they dont offer late check out .

Lights at the sink didn’t work couldn’t get the TV to work and when I set my coffee down that morning and came back to pick it up after seeing a bug run across the dresser, noticed that a smaller bag was in my coffee cup

The door seal was missing, so you could see light coming through top, and both sides for the door. There was a light bulb out in the bedside lamp, there were a few bettles on the wall, probably from the lack of seal around the door, the bathroom door did not close all the way shut. The bathroom toiletries, there was 2 shampoos instead of 1 shampoo and 1 conditioner. Both beds, were clean, with mattress, box springs covers and the sheets were clean and free of stains. Both beds are on the softer side. Older TV with no sleep shut off, also the HBO channel was only available in Spanish. The reason for our stay, was due to a water leak at our house, we didnt stay the full reservation because our leak was fixed the next day, so we didnt use the pool or breakfast. The hotel staff we did encounter were friendly and efficient.

It needs some work, it's showing it's age. The staff is nice.

Room was not good. AC had two options- plugged in and “On” or unplugged and “off.” None of the controls worked. Then, the next morning it quit working altogether. bathroom had spots on the wall where it looked like they half fixed a hole and cigarette burns on the tub. bathroom door didnt latch. Door to room had no deadbolt &had to mess with it to get it to shut right. Never did figure out how to lock it when we left the room. Poolwas ok. There were a lot of people hanging around the property. Some were loudly talking, even yelling on the phone at all hours. One man hung outside our door listening to music until after 10 pm. Felt very unsafe, especially with our faulty door. Breakfast had nothing but cereal and juice when we arrived but the worker did try to get everything refilled. A hostile maintenance man knocked on our door and accused us of BEATING ON THE WALL when we definitely were not. I told him my son was bouncing a rubber ball on the floor so maybe they were hearing that..? He was extremely rude. We heard police sirens in the area 5-6 times. Never again. Stay somewhere else if you can.

First room smelled like smoke but the receptionist male helped us get in a room that was better. Ac problem in second room. He came up and fixed it. Left two hats and they were eager to find it. They even shipped it just had to pay.

The customer service when i arrived was not great, the an had no name tag, did not greet with a smile, did not even seem happy to be at work. When i left the lady was great but i told her about some of the problems but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. My room was next door to the housekeeping rooms and people were hangout late outside the door and i could hear them. The room smelled funny when i first entered, slthough it looked presentable. But it seemed older and a board on the side of the tub was sticking out, the mirrors above that luxurious bathtub was dirty and i was left 2 shampoos. It would have been nice to have had one shampoo and one conditioner. Plus considering they stressed the hotel was a no dog hotel, the housekeeping room had a dog come out their room. The back of the hotel looked a bit of trashed because someone had their car broke down and they were working on it. It cost too much to stay at this place for the way it was.

They've done a lot of improvements on this hotel.. it's great for the price! The staff are all great as well.

While I want to start by acknowledging the front desk and staff—who were consistently polite and accommodating—that’s unfortunately where the positives end. This property is marketed as “recently renovated,” but the condition of the room didn’t reflect that at all. The furnishings were outdated and worn. The mattress was lumpy and stained, with sheets that looked dingy and had visible discoloration. The pillows were flat, worn out, and no bigger than travel pillows. The bathroom was not clean—there was hair left behind from previous guests, which immediately raised sanitation concerns. The office chair in the room had torn upholstery and was clearly past its prime. These issues alone would have made it a poor value, especially as we were scouting this hotel for a potential weekly business stay. However, the deal-breaker came the morning of check-out, when I spotted roaches in the bathroom. At that point, I quickly packed up and left—cutting my stay short. When I mentioned this to the front desk, the response was an underwhelming, “I’m sorry, I’ll call and try to schedule a pest control.” No sense of urgency or concern for guest safety and cleanliness, which was disappointing. We had high hopes that this might be a good, reliable spot for weekly travel, but based on this experience, we won’t be returning.

No heat A/C stuck at 66 degrees, had to disconnect from wall receptacle Towels had a foul smell Guests/unknowns out walking the paths around the room entrances smoking pot into early hours of the morning. Left room a 5am to sleep in my vehicle running as it was 52 degrees outside, 66 in the room and a nice 72 in my vehicle.

I thought that because the hotel was a Wyndham hotel it would be cleaner than the average hotel. The floors in the rooms were very dirty. The rooms had a musty smell and feel. It was obvious that they had people living in the hotel and they where not just coming in for jobs during the week. I felt a bit unsafe because of drug use and alcohol use. I can deal with the alcohol, but one of our rooms smelled of Pot from the room next door. The tenant had his curtains open and he was on the bed with a joint and a white powder that he sniffed. Along with just this example there was the smell around the hotel of Pot. I had two young children with me and really did not feel safe with them. I did bring up the noise level from the first night I was there and was moved to the other side of the hotel which seemed a bit cleaner and it was quieter.

Pot smoke everywhere. People hanging out their door watching everything you do. This made us feel so unsafe the we did not stay here. I also realized how unavailable Expedia was to help get me out of this room. I will never use Expedia again!

Had a good overnight stay, lots of dining options, wonderful beds, would stay again..

This hotel is in shambles. Their is illegal activity all over the property people smoking drugs selling drugs and openly doing dugs in the hallways. The hotel is being used as an extended stay for most of the first floor . Their is an aggressive dog who bit an individual living on the premise. Not to mention the property is in complete shambles. They have roaches the room linens are all stained they allow smoking in room although it say no smoking room . This property should really be reported to BBB, the authorities and the fire department for inspection . The manager is impossible to reach and the people who work there have very limited power to do anything about the conditions. Wyndham should not allow for this hotel to be run under their franchise .

Staff was great, room’s definitely show there age, Monday through Thursday night it was quiet and nice. During the day Friday the traveling workers leave and a rougher group of people come in and the hotel is louder and a lot more active

The road construction made everything a mess around hotel. Hard to navigate.

This place was terrible! The sheets were stained in at least 7 places. There weren’t enough pillows and some of what was there was lumpy and not usable. There weren’t enough towels in the room for 2 people never mind the 4 we registered. The bathroom light didn’t work right. People were smoking and noisy on the outside walkway. Their smoke was pulled in the room by the a/c unit. There was lots of traffic noise all night. Breakfast wasn’t worth eating it was so limited and cheap. The ice machine didn’t work. Avoid this place!

First room we were taken too smelled heavily of smoke, 2nd room was halfway cleaned but needed maintenance, the whole place was rundown and needed work. Hardly anything to choose from for breakfast besides cereal or toast. The whole stay was disappointing. The front desk person was very nice and helpful just not a good experience overall.

This was my first time at this location. With all the different chains of hotels in the area this one really need to invest some money into it and that is from the entrance to the rear. The carpet in room 103 really needs to be cleaned. The staff was great and very helpful. The ice machine was down and they had no problem supplying me with ice from the kitchen. I come to Florida often because I have family here and grew up in Ft.walton beach. I normally stay at the Hampton as well as the country inn and suites several times. The breakfast was very very simple two different kind of cereal, apples, juice, yogurt, coffee and the standard waffle maker. I was only there from Friday-Sunday which made it okay.

It was not terrible, but it wasn't great either. The room smelled terrible. The sheets looked clean, but they had a sour smell to them. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was ok.
