This hotel was great value for money, they cleaned everyday and provided some of the best hospitality received in Italy. Definitely recommend for a family or if you’re traveling with elderly relatives, this facility is ADA friendly providing stair climbers and lifts at every necessary area. Only thing I’d recommend to improve is having more breakfast options having the same items did get a bit boring but otherwise it was really good

The hotel was walking distance to the Vatican. Although downhill and 20 to 30 minutes. We took a taxi. About 10 E. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Reasonably priced to other hotels. We tried the dinner at hotel first night and was disappointed. The bar was great and a super bartender Overall, I would go back and recommend.

Great hotel, close to the train and bus, so we were able to get on the train and go anywhere in the city. It is also walking distance from the Vatican city. we bought coffee and pastries from the hotel cafe in the morning.

Amazing hotel for Catholics, since there is a chapel in the basement with Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament! Also, the morning buffet is great and relatively inexpensive. Lastly, free parking and proximity to the Vatican.

Clean room every day. Good breakfast. Amazing balcony view. in a quiet area. Only thing i would say i, there was one day we were on balcony and the cleaning lady walked right in without knocking and the beds aren’t that comfortable. otherwise a great hotel.

Das Hotel selbst war an einem guten Ort, aber unser Zimmer (Nr. 314) hatte einen sehr unangenehmen Geruch, der stark an Fäkalien erinnerte. Wir haben das Personal informiert, aber es wurde nichts unternommen und unser Zimmer wurde nicht gewechselt. Eine Person kam kurz vorbei, tat jedoch nichts, um das Problem zu beheben. Die zwei Nächte waren daher sehr unangenehm, und wir sind äußerst unzufrieden. Vermutlich könnten auch andere Zimmer auf dieser Seite des Gebäudes betroffen sein. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls nicht zufriedenstellend. Insgesamt kann ich dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen.

Quand quelqu'un à l'étage prend sa douche ou va aux toilettes par exemple + bidet qui fuit avec bruit constant dans la tuyauterie Ménage bruyant à 8h30, qui vous réveille sans s'excuser Vue promis disponible uniquement pour une toute petite partie des chambres d'un des bâtiments Horaires des repas très restrictifs TV : pas de dessins animés ou de musique mais que des chaînes d'information ou de prière Le dimanche matin : les autres clients se lèvent à partir de 5h30 douches, sèche-cheveux, bruit de porte, discussion dans les couloirs... Rooms were super comfortable and clean, only minor issue was is the shower was at full pressure it was slow to drain and only rainfall shower head (no other option if you didn’t want to wash your hair). Hotel was a 20 minute walk to the Vatican City and 40 to Trastevere, driving or public transit would have probably been easier but it was nice enough out to make the walk and the streets around the hotel are nice and quiet/calm. Wishing we had stayed there for the entirety of our time in Rome instead of just one night.

Hôtel pres du Vatican et de la basilique St Pierre (18 min) mais loin du reste (36min pour navona à pied et plus pour le reste, 1h pour le Colisée par exemple...) possibilité de prendre le métro ou bus en revanche en bas de la montée. C'est en haut d'une côte. On peut garer la voiture dehors gratuitement. L'hôtel accueille beaucoup de groupe, il peut être bruyant certains soirs. Literie très ferme, murs fins. Très propre. Grande chambre. Petit déjeuner en supplément 9€ , correct (sucré et salé). Personnel accueillant , très sympa. TV seulement en italien. Wifi dispo.

Room pleasant and of a decent size. Breakfast fine but the one dinner I had was dreadful: cold grey meat covered with tuna and mayo mush, with luke warm beans. The hotel is very high up. No buses run past so we had to take taxis back. The nearest restaurants are reached by 100 steps down. St Peter’s is walking distance and the hotel was full of religious groups, unsurprisingly.

On the small side - but this is what you get in city centre in this price range. Excellent AC. Clean and good location close to the Vatican. The mattress was not comfortable at all and this is my only complaint about this room.

This is a very convenient hotel — walkable to St. Peter’s Square, the train station, et al. Nice bathrooms, good fresh air with big windows and a nice balcony. The only real downside is the hard beds (!) Easy parking. If you don’t have a car or taxi, you’ll have to lug your bags up to the top of the hill.

Das Zimmer hatte leider nichts mit den Photos in der Anzeige gemeinsam. Wir hatten keine Aussicht und waren um Untergeschoss des Hotels untergebracht. Das Fenster war vergittert und durch die Hinterhoflage dunkel und stickig. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut, auch die Parkmöglichkeiten waren sehr gut. Durch die nicht vorhandene Qualität der Zimmer aber insgesamt nichtmal Jugendherbergsniveau.

This hotel has a really good location and is extremely reasonably priced. The rooms are very simple but no need to pay for things you do not need. The first night we were there was fantastic. The second night, the air conditioning stopped working so it was a little hard to sleep since there are no alternatives (like fans or windows with a breeze). Would stay again if we could confirm working air con.

I picked this hotel for the price and close to Vatican. It is not an easy walkable area being up a steep hill. The hotel and staff are very nice , breakfast was wonderful for a small fee and the rooms were spacious and clean. The bed however was sooo hard. My back and hip hurt and we did not sleep well. The air conditioner did not work well either. The workman checked it but it never got very cold. Other than that the hotel was very nice. We had to use taxi and Uber to get everywhere. But the quiet was nice as you will find Rome is very busy . Thank you for a very nice stay!

It was a clean place to stay, the rooms are fairly spacious and the staff is very friendly. Good hotel if you are wanting to stay close to Vatican City as St Peter's Basilica is a 20 - 30 minute walk. Also close to public transport links as San Pietro station is a 10 minute walk away. As other reviews note, the hotel is up a steep hill but there are 2 sets of stairs - one is a shortcut to the station and the other leads towards Vatican City. Some soundproofing would be great to install. Otherwise, the hotel was quiet at night, and the guests' rules were in place afterward 11pm. The breakfast buffet was good. I think this must be a conference hotel, as opposed to one for tourists. The room was very nice for the price and had amenities, and while it's about a 35-minute walk to the Vatican, it's very far from other tourist destinations, such as the colosseum. You will have to take a taxi or train. I was not able to find help at the front desk to call a taxi at 7:00am though. Nor could I figure out the train station and there was no attendant there to help either. So I walked 5 kilometers to get where I needed to go. I could not even find a taxi to stop on the street. So it's just kind of an inconvenient location but a nice hotel.

The first two nights, we had room no 413, in which the mastress was absolutely uncomfortable. We went to the front desk, and ask Odette to give us another room. In a few mi utes, she attributed another room, which was very much better than the 413. Thanks again Odette for your kindness !😉😉

This hotel is a true gem. All the staff was very friendly, the rooms clean, the buffet breakfast varied and delicious and near to the train station and bus. Our room with balcón was amazing. Very nice and comfortable our staying there for 3 nights. Bravo to all the staff!

There was no mention in other reviews about the distance and steep roads going up to get to the hotel. Getting a taxi going back to the hotel was the biggest challenge but going down to tourists spots was easy. Taxis come up to pick you up within 5 minutes. Staff was all so nice and everyone spoke english very well. If not for the distance to get to the main drags/streets, the place was nice to stay in. Wifi was strong, airconditioning was auto turned off at night which I didn’t like. Breakfast buffet had wide choices. Dinner was so so.

This is a very convenient hotel — walkable to St. Peter’s Square, the train station, et al. Nice bathrooms, good fresh air with big windows and a nice balcony. The only real downside is the hard beds (!) Easy parking. If you don’t have a car or taxi, you’ll have to lug your bags up to the top of the hill.

Zum Frühstück gabs nicht viel Auswahl. Meistens Kuchen und süße Croissants, schmecken auch nicht so gut. Vor allem wenn man kein Schwein ist, bleibt nur Müsli oder Brot mit Käse. Ich bin 5 Tage da geblieben und jeden Tag das gleiche zum Essen, am Ende habe ich draußen gefrühstückt.

The staff was not helpful at all, except for the staff cleaning the rooms. Our room was not cleaned during the first days of our stay. We went to ask the receptionist if the rooms are cleaned daily, his answer was no. Then I asked if we could get clean towels at least then. We were 2 to go ask and only got towels for one. Obviously, the next day, the cleaning staff was there cleaning our room. Maybe our room was forgotten the first days? Either way, the answer should have been yes. The shower was so small and the water kept running out and leaking into the room. The shower drain was having trouble so the water was filling up every time we showered.
