Lovely hotel with great Mexican style architecture, furnishings, plants etc. Very clean. The owner was very helpful and talked a lot with my wife and myself. Small heated pool is a bonus especially in winter. This hotel is on a quiet street that is about 5 minutes walk from the main square and cathedral. 5 minutes walk to pedestrianised streets with a good variety of shops and restaurants. I would stay here again.

This was the worst hotel experience in my decade years of travel. My first night was absolutely horrid because the bed and sheets had bed bugs. I didn't realize until the middle of the night when I woke up full of bites--my entire body itching nonstop. The next day, my friend and I were moved to a different room. I asked if I would be compensated and then front desk attendant said we would definitely be given a credit towards the breakfast or transportation to the airport. Well, at checkout, a new attendant said the owner would not be given me any type of compensation or credit. When I asked to speak to her, the older lady was very rude and kept giving me excuses that she was losing money because she had to throw away the bed and sheets. I was like that's not my fault, I had a terrible night. But she did not care. I told her I never leave negative reviews, but that she was forcing me have to do it, and she said she didn't care. Very unpleasant customer service.

Loved the property Only issue is my room had bedbugs. I did talk to the manager of the hotel and We did get it sorted out unfortunately, they did not give me a refund or anything. They just switch my room.

Muy bonito, la alberca, el lugar. Pero la recepción muy tardada, al igual que tú salida. El wifi muy malo. Pero lo peor la seguridad las puertas son inseguras, no tienen un pasador o seguro extra. Tuve mala experiencia pues abrieron la habitación en la mañana. No llevan un control de habitaciones. Mucho ruido de las personas que hacen aseo y en sábado y domingo que quieres dormir más. Restaurante no tan económico, y solo abre en las mañanas.

The hotel was beautiful, clean, friendly staff, great price, the pool was heated, we had an amazing time in town. The only thing that could’ve been better at the hotel is that they did not have heating in the room and it was very very cold. They gave us extra blankets And that was OK, but a small portable heater would’ve been perfect.

I was really looking forward to staying here, after looking at the pictures. Unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations. The location was good, the courtyard setting was beautiful and the room was nice but the noise really spoiled our stay. We paid extra for a bigger room but it was directly next to the pool meaning that we had constant noise from the pool filter and people in the pool. The rooms are all based around the courtyard which means noise all day and night. There was constant noise with people in the pool after hours, sat in the courtyard talking loudly and I was even woken up at 3am by staff talking in the courtyard. It's a beautiful setting but, if you value your sleep, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The property is very clean and beautiful. The only thing that was a bit of a nuisance was how everyone that was at the pool was very noisy. We called the desk and they did not handle the situation. For two nights the echo of the guest by the pool was happening until 1 am which did not allow for us to have a comfortable night of rest. Parking was also an inconvenience.

High Points: Beautiful Courtyard, Nicely Appointed Rooms, Heated Pool, Great Restaurant with Awesome Coffee & Cocktails! Close to Town Center but far enough away when wanting to rest. Transportation readily available. But MOST the Kindness and Accommodation of the Owners and Staff. My US Bank restricted my Debit Card after a Single Transaction during a Layover in Mexico City. When I attempted to pay the bill when checking in, it was declined, I hadn't created enough payment options on other cards or secured enough Pesos to pay the bill, MY BAD! I ASSURED them I had the funds but it was late and I'd have to call my bank the next morning. They allowed me to check in without paying, NEVER HAPPEN IN THE OLE USA, so FIRST THING the next morning, I sorted it out and was at the office when they opened to fully pay for my stay!!! THIS PROPERTY WILL BE MY GO TO FOR ME AND MY ASSOCIATES EVERY TIME WE ARE IN San Cristobal de Las Casas! Mucho Gusto!

El hotel es un lugar bonito, sin embargo, el check in dice a las 3 y me espere hasta las 4 para que me dieran acceso, después me fui a sentar para esperar al restaurante y me pidieron que me saliera ya que el servicio solo es de 7am a 3 pm, pero es grosero pedirle a un cliente que se salga y no ofrecerle un lugar para esperar cuando no fue culpa mía que la habitación no estuviera lista, cuando llegue la alberca estaba en limpieza y no la pude usar y al día siguiente también seguía igual y tampoco se pude usar, me quede en una habitación suite y el hacu si no sirve el hidromasaje, la vdd fue una pésima experiencia en dicho hotel

This si a great place to stay. Just on the edge of Centro close to enough to walk (5 minutes) but very quiet and less busy. Tha place is incredibly clean and well kept. This is a great choice for San Cristobal.

The property was clean, had a small boutique feeling. Really pretty with flowers, Spanish tile and colonial feel. However, there was no coffee in the rooms. The restaurant charges for every refill and did not tell us. They double charged us, watch your bill. I would recommend the hotel but not the restaurant.

The pool area and the garden was beautiful. The service was excellent. It was walking distance to the downtown area and an easy walk to restaurants. The nice thing is they have an on-site restaurant if you need to catch some coffee and breakfast before heading out for a tour.

This boutique hotel was lovely, quaint Mexican decor and very clean. Bed was very comfortable and hotel staff were lovely. Do not eat in the restaurant - food was cold, coffee came in a 4 oz cup and they charged for every refill. Cook was very confrontational and rude.
