Todo muy bonito, Punto malo es la alberca esta retirada de hotel cielo rojo, también tiene los horarios… Los demás esta muy bonito, muy confortable, muy limpio, muy organico, la comida muy rica, sano y saludable.

everything was great the only thing is the pool is like a block away it closes at 6pm and it is shared with another facility. hotel has no parking but other than that staff is great food is great.

This is the third time that I have stayed here, it’s a beautiful building, has a delicious and healthy restaurant, cool art and decor, and they even make their own tequila. No pool but you can use one nearby and it’s steps to the beach anyway. Highly recommended.

Pros: el hotel es bonito, las instalaciones son limpias y en general el staff es amable. Cons: La cama es MUY incómoda a menos que seas de los que prefieran el colchon extra firme. Tan incómoda que el segundo dia preferimos movernos a otro hotel y perder el pago de la noche. NO TIENE ALBERCA. Aunque aparece en las fotos, la alberca está en otra propiedad y solamente se puede usar de 12 - 5 PM, es ridículo. El desayuno incluye unicamente un te y una copa de fruta.

The staff were wonderful however, the room we had was cramped and noisy (it was right next to the front desk) . The bathroom was so small you practically had to climb over the toilet to get in and out of the shower. And, the pool was at another property a few blocks away. This was not something we were made aware of before we booked. Had we known, we would have booked another hotel.

The hotel itself is charming. The staff was excellent and the onsite restaurant had delicious food. The only problems I encountered were ones that were out of the hotel's control. Parking in the area is difficult. If you don't need to bring a car, don't. Everything in San Pancho is within walking distance, there are taxi's and uber's available, so ditch the car as parking is difficult to find. Another issue was the demonic roosters. For some reason the roosters in the neighborhood have decided that 3:30 a.m. is the appropriate time to crow. We were at the hotel for almost a week, and every morning like clockwork the roosters started at 3:30 and kept crowing for hours. Again, the hotel has no control over the roosters, they actually supply ear plugs to try and help with the various noises, but it was still an issue for me. Bottom line is if you want a boutique hotel experience in beautiful San Pancho I highly recommend Ciel Rojo. Just be prepared for some of the quirks of a small Mexican town.

We stayed here for a Valentine's getaway and loved it! Everything about it is clearly intentionally curated. It was so beautiful. The room was lovely, though a little loud in the morning, but not bad at all for the location. Very convenient to everything in San Pancho though a short walk (about 8 or so min) to the beach. The staff were friendly and helpful and our meals there were lovely. There is a pool but it's not on the property so it's walk to get there. Overall it was a little smaller than anticipated but makes up for space in charm. The property was well maintained, tidy, clean and artistic in a unique and pleasing way. Most relaxing place of our 3 different accomodations in San Pancho. A very sweet place to stay.

Awesome little place and clean Very courteous staff. The hotel also had loaner beach a hairs and umbrella, which is very convenient and will save you from spending $350 pesos a day to rent them. They even had courtesy tequila in the room!! Our new favorite place to stay in San Pancho!!!

It was a beautiful place. There was a minor issue that was resolved quickly. Continental breakfast was divine. The pool they show on the site is not on the property so that was a bummer. They did have bikes, beach towels and umbrellas for the beach...Bonus

En general bien, pero hay algunas cosas como el hecho de no hagan limpieza los domingos o que las escaleras no tengan luz por la noche o muy temprano en el día

Staff were fantastic, very accommodating. BUT this hotel has a VERY BAD room. It is located 3 feet from the front desk, the bed is about 10 feet away. Every word spoken at the front desk can be heard. I felt very uncomfortable like someone was at my door and coming in. This should NOT be a room but a front door strorage closet. Next I found a HUGE live cockroach under my sheets. I took a picture and caught it to show the front desk the next morning. Very little response its Mexico. When they cleaned my room they got rid of Ralph my pet cockroach....my shower had extremely low pressure, my hair is thin, took a long time to rince it out. Overall a great hotel, an amazing fruit cup breakfast just DONT STAY IN THIS ROOM....or it should have warning signs and 80% off. The complimentary earplugs by my bed should have been taken more seriuosly. Sad because the other rooms are likely great.

The hotel was nice, rooms were nice, the shower was lovely and hot and powerful, the toiletries were nice too, plenty of towels provided, face clothes and a hair dryer. The bed was a little hard for my liking and pillows a little flatter than I usually like but comfortable bed overall, good fan and AC too. Great location close to the main streets. They also provided camping chairs, parasols and beach towels which was super helpful. Our room was at the back of the property, and there was quite a lot of noise from the bistro in the mornings, as the music was quite loud and you could hear people talking - and there was a cockerel who started crowing at 4am non stop every day - which woke us up in the early hours, so overall unfortunately it wasn't very relaxing or restful. It was also Easter when we went so there were very loud fireworks and people playing music late into the night. Our room was also overlooked by another property so we kept the curtains closed most of the time. The breakfast that was included with the room was very limited - it was a fruit cup with a bit of yogurt granola and honey - with tea or coffee. I think even just adding the option of some pasties and fresh orange juice would have made a big difference. Overall I think that the hotel was a lovely but a bit overpriced for what you pay, as the breakfast was limited, there is no pool on site, we didn’t have the best sleep, due to noise and the bistro was closed for lunch and dinner when we stayed there.

We stayed in the ground floor room close to the reception desk (Primero room) as a budget option. Putting this at the top of my review because some of the negative reviews I read were specifically about this room. Admittedly I was nervous about this room after reading the reviews, but we stayed for 2 nights (Mon & Tues) during peak season and we had a great stay. I’m a very light sleeper and had no trouble getting a good night sleep every night (they provide ear plugs if needed to). It is the only room on the ground floor. Yes - it is right by the front door & entrance is in the lobby near reception but we lucked out that the restaurant was closed on Tuesday's and dinner service only happens on weekends. The staff was incredibly friendly, available, and accommodating. We took advantage of the pool at their nearby property around the corner which was BEAUTIFUL and we got it all to ourselves. The hotel is well appointed with local goods for sale and the restaurant is cute — we only had the provided coffee and fruit for breakfast. It’s very close to the center of town and we absolutely loved San Pancho. The only minor feedback I’d give is regarding the toilet & wastebasket. You are not to flush toilet paper down the toilwt (which for a small town in Mexico I totally understand the plumbing sensitivity as the toilet was slow to flush) so I would’ve loved a covered wastebasket knowing that. Also the toilet seat cover in the room kept falling down before we could sit haha!

Beautiful hotel, restaurant and gift shop. Our room was small and at street level so limited privacy. Could overhear lobby conversations.The restaurant food and service is outstanding. Highly recommend the restaurant.

We enjoyed the hotel and the yard where the pool was located. We had a very small room by the front desk. Things quieted down by 11:00ish. The breakfast fruit was tasty!

I love this sweet little boutique hotel, exceptionally kind & accommodating staff, fabulous food and sweet access to a private pool nearby. We had the suite which was over the dining area-expect noise from the kitchen, local chickens,roosters & a barking dog. Always happy to return!

This is a gem of a property. We felt so safe and nurtured at this beautiful hotel. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it was perfect for our family of four. The rooms are decorated with such charming, old style Mexico features, and the food and service was beyond our expectations. It's a great location as it's a quick walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. If you're looking for a modern hotel with a pool scene, this is not your place. But if you're looking for a special, local boutique hotel with charm and exceptional service and food, you will not be disappointed!

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the restaurant in the hotel is also very good, although it's hard to find bad food in San Pancho. Muy mal, el desayuno estaba incluido y me lo cobraron. El check out era a las 11 y me pidieron dejar la habitacion a las 10:30 am haciendo uso de un horario distinto al de Nayarit (es una hora menos que el resto de México). Ni regreso ni lo recomiendo

Staff are very helpful and friendly; the free continental breakfast is excellent with mixed fruits; yogurt….; we felt very welcome as guests staying in the hotel!! Great location- within minutes to restaurants. Room with little details make us feel as ‘valued guests’.

El hotel es muy bonito cerca a todo , el personal muy amable , en la esquina para pasar al pueblo en la Noche se hacen camionetas con personas borrachas y pesadas que molestan a los que pasan musica muy fuerte , creo q deben buscar una solucion con la policia o algo asi me la pase muy bien es lo unico no me parece seguro para mujeres solas pasar por esa esquina , lo demas muy agradecido , san pancho un destino increíble ojala lo cuiden y conserven tranquilo esto es un tema aislado

El lugar está muy cerca de la playa y de un mini super. El personal es super amable, te tratan como si estuvieras en casa. Tienen un desayuno de cortesía con fruta, miel y yogurt orgánico que esta increíble. Viajé con mascota y todo perfecto con su estancia, solo un costo ya considerado por su hospedaje. Sin duda regresaría, solo que en el segundo piso, ya que a pie de calle no puedes abrir realmente las cortinas porque todos te ven.

Great for a short stay. Very friendly staff. Close to the beach and the free beach chairs and umbrella was very appreciated. We both loved their restaurant downstairs. No tv or pool.

Lovely stay. Thought it would be noisy due to being on ground floor and street side but it wasn’t. Reception gent was very nice. Breakfast could have toast and preserves but no biggie. Already planning our next visit. Lovely beach town.

Lovely boutique hotel in downtown San Pancho. We really enjoyed our stay here. The food at the restaurant downstairs Bistro Organiko was fabulous!! It’s right in the road so if you are a light sleeper like I am, you’ll need to wear earplugs. I’d stay again.

This is one of our favorite places to eat in San Pancho. This was our first time staying here. It is noisy for hotel guests on weekend nights because dinner is served (otherwise only breakfast and lunch everyday except Tues) and great live jazz music on their patio is a bonus! But as guests, the noise from the dining patio and kitchen filters up until after closing. Thank goodness for the earplugs! Otherwise, the rooms are sweet, the staff is kind and attentive, Giselle is welcoming, and the meals are healthy, nutritious and delicious!

This a small boutique hotel. The facilities are very tastefully appointed with countless unique little touches. The staff is kind, caring, responsive and polished. There's a lot of love in this business. We stayed 3 nights and found this to be an excellent home base for San Pancho. Very easy to walk about and enjoy the town from the hotel. Pool is just a short one block walk away at a sister property(tranquil garden-like pool setting). The food at the hotel's restaurant is super special. We added an item each morning to the complimentary breakfast offerings and very much enjoyed everything we sampled(banana pancakes were amazing fo this pancake lovert)--tasty, healthful, environmentally conscientious food with local flare. Hotel Cielo Rojo is a charming boutique hotel conveniently located in San Pancho. Both private & public space decor is thoughtful & interestingly inspired. Beyond the hotel’s charm is the addition of probably The Best restaurant north of PV. Bistro Organico is just that. A fresh and festive experience for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Dinner Fri - Sun. That being said, our only critique is that no mention was made, when booking, of our accommodations being the floor above the kitchen with its one window opening onto the restaurants outdoor dinning area below. We had 2 noisy nights. Will we return, most likely!
