Lugar limpio, buena atención, habitaciones ya viejitas pero muy limpias, alberca ya un poco vieja y pequeña! La playa del hotel con mucho sargazo, así que si buscan un hotel con bonita playa no es buena opción! Lo mejor del lugar es a su limpieza y atención del personal!

We recently stayed at the Zamas Hotel in Cancun for three nights as a family of six, and our experience was absolutely incredible. We booked a beach bungalow that was super clean and comfortable, making it the perfect spot to relax. Fernando at the reception went above and beyond—he was not only kind and helpful but also made the kids feel so special by bringing them toys for the sand and making sure we had everything we needed. The staff overall were extremely friendly with the kids, which made us feel right at home. The on-site restaurant was delicious with excellent pricing—we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner there. The pool was also very nice and refreshing. While there was a bit of seaweed on the beach during our stay, we understand that it’s just part of the season and nature. What truly stood out was the level of care and hospitality: every time we needed to cross the road, the hotel’s parking attendant made sure to stop traffic and personally help us cross safely with the kids. They were also very helpful with our luggage and attentive in every detail. Overall, Zamas Hotel gave us a warm, family-friendly, and memorable getaway. Highly recommended!

Points positifs : - la chambre, pour 4, était grande et confortable. - belle piscine : bonne taille, nettoyée tous les matins, avec un peu d’ombre, et fraîche. Notre chambre donnait sur la piscine - hotel calme, peu fréquente quand nous y étions (août 2022) Points négatifs : - petits déjeuners non inclus : le seul cas des 7 hôtels que nous avons utilises pendant notre séjour au Mexique - l’hôtel est séparé par une route : la partie « jardins » et la partie « mer » (où se trouve la réception) sont séparées par une route - gros point négatif : la plage était inutilisable pendant notre séjour à cause des sargasses qui s’accumulent en masse. L’hôtel ne fait aucun effort en la matière. Nous avons vu d’autres hôtels voisins mettre en œuvre des solutions variées qui atténuaient le problème.

A lovely hotel all round. Good position for shops, beach, ATM etc. Very nice bungalow on the beach (especially after free upgrade), excellent service staff. This hotel was a real 'find' and very good value for money. Note though we did not use the pool as it was less accessible to our room.

I would give Zamas 20 stars if possible! We stayed in a private beachfront hut where you could hear the ocean. It was absolutely beautiful and the service (from the front desk to the parking lot security team) and quality of facility was impeccable. The cozy hammocks outside our door, to which room service will deliver tacos, were icing on the cake. There is a busy-ish road behind the huts but you can’t hear or see from the room.

Loved the rustic look of the rooms with all the creature comforts included (AC, mini fridge, hot water, etc.). The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and the food was great, both in the hotel and in nearby restaurants. There are convenience stores, pharmacies, ATMs and currency exchange offices within walking distance. We had a lovely stay, very unfortunate that the sargassum kept us from the beach, but that's not the hotel's fault.

Zamas Hotel is an absolute GEM! We wanted to be more in the community rather than in a big all-inclusive and Zamas was perfect! The staff was so friendly and helpful, our room was right on the beach and the food was PHENOMINAL! It was conveniently located in a moderately busy part of town so it was quiet at night and only a 10min drive down to the party section of Tulum. The room was so cute and the hotel did a great job cleaning every day. I was worried about the heat and the AC in the room worked wonderfully. I would 1000% stay here again.

This was my second time staying at Zamas and it was just as perfect this time as before. The staff are lovely, the rooms are perfect and I always feel safe and comfortable there. You are close enough to night life and adventures but far enough away for peaceful nights. I absolutely LOVE staying here.

This place can be passed by for now… maybe when they finish the construction and repair all the amenities… like sockets falling apart and difficulty issuing refunds??? Got to pay to stay here and step over animal feces on my way to my room. To be honest i can’t imagine how this has any good reviews based on my short stay.

Short drive to Tulum beach when it’s seaweed season. Housekeeping is excellent! Staff is friendly and helpful. Property is generally quiet. AC is very good. Restaurants in walking distance. Beds are comfortable.

25 years ago we visited Zamas for dinner and dreamed about returning one day for a vacation. We finally made the trip and have just had the most magical stay at this very special hotel. Zamas is in a beautiful location with uninterrupted views of the beach and ocean. It is just as we remembered it with unique and very well appointed rooms that have everything you might need : great shower, very comfortable bed, pillows and cotton sheets, a tea station, fridge, bottled water, and wonderfully fragrant bathroom products. We ate at the restaurant every night and had one memorable meal after another, as we enjoyed the magnificent view. The managers and staff were so friendly and helpful and generously upgraded our accommodation to an ocean view room, where we could relax in the hammocks with the sound of gently lapping waves and soft ocean breezes. Zamas made our trip to Mexico truly memorable and was an experience we feel very lucky to have had.

A lovely hotel all round. Good position for shops, beach, ATM etc. Very nice bungalow on the beach (especially after free upgrade), excellent service staff. This hotel was a real 'find' and very good value for money. Note though we did not use the pool as it was less accessible to our room.

I would give Zamas 20 stars if possible! We stayed in a private beachfront hut where you could hear the ocean. It was absolutely beautiful and the service (from the front desk to the parking lot security team) and quality of facility was impeccable. The cozy hammocks outside our door, to which room service will deliver tacos, were icing on the cake. There is a busy-ish road behind the huts but you can’t hear or see from the room.

Loved the rustic look of the rooms with all the creature comforts included (AC, mini fridge, hot water, etc.). The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, and the food was great, both in the hotel and in nearby restaurants. There are convenience stores, pharmacies, ATMs and currency exchange offices within walking distance. We had a lovely stay, very unfortunate that the sargassum kept us from the beach, but that's not the hotel's fault.

We stayed at the Signature Room, Upper Floor Oceanview. It’s across the street. It was worth it. You can hear the waves all night. Gorgeous inside and out. Restaurant food and drinks are really good. Make sure you get the colectivo (mini bus/van)to head to the centro and other locations. Very convenient. Just tell the driver where you are headed. Taxis are pricey! We recently stayed at the Zamas Hotel in Cancun for three nights as a family of six, and our experience was absolutely incredible. We booked a beach bungalow that was super clean and comfortable, making it the perfect spot to relax. Fernando at the reception went above and beyond—he was not only kind and helpful but also made the kids feel so special by bringing them toys for the sand and making sure we had everything we needed. The staff overall were extremely friendly with the kids, which made us feel right at home. The on-site restaurant was delicious with excellent pricing—we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner there. The pool was also very nice and refreshing. While there was a bit of seaweed on the beach during our stay, we understand that it’s just part of the season and nature. What truly stood out was the level of care and hospitality: every time we needed to cross the road, the hotel’s parking attendant made sure to stop traffic and personally help us cross safely with the kids. They were also very helpful with our luggage and attentive in every detail. Overall, Zamas Hotel gave us a warm, family-friendly, and memorable getaway. Highly recommended!

My friends and I just returned from a brilliant trip to Tulum. We stayed at the Zamas Hotel for 3 nights and we could not have been more happy! The location is spectacular, right on the beach in a quiet yet central area. The food and bar service was consistently awesome. Our room was a perfect mix of rustic and comfortable. Most importantly, the staff were extremely helpful and great to converse with. They assisted us with transportation and answered all of our numerous questions. Abi, Daniel, Fernando, and Iliana in particular were just so fantastic and so super helpful. I would highly recommend this property 😀!

Zamas Hotel is an absolute GEM! We wanted to be more in the community rather than in a big all-inclusive and Zamas was perfect! The staff was so friendly and helpful, our room was right on the beach and the food was PHENOMINAL! It was conveniently located in a moderately busy part of town so it was quiet at night and only a 10min drive down to the party section of Tulum. The room was so cute and the hotel did a great job cleaning every day. I was worried about the heat and the AC in the room worked wonderfully. I would 1000% stay here again.

My friends and I just returned from a brilliant trip to Tulum. We stayed at the Zamas Hotel for 3 nights and we could not have been more happy! The location is spectacular, right on the beach in a quiet yet central area. The food and bar service was consistently awesome. Our room was a perfect mix of rustic and comfortable. Most importantly, the staff were extremely helpful and great to converse with. They assisted us with transportation and answered all of our numerous questions. Abi, Daniel, Fernando, and Iliana in particular were just so fantastic and so super helpful. I would highly recommend this property 😀!

I would give Zamas 20 stars if possible! We stayed in a private beachfront hut where you could hear the ocean. It was absolutely beautiful and the service (from the front desk to the parking lot security team) and quality of facility was impeccable. The cozy hammocks outside our door, to which room service will deliver tacos, were icing on the cake. There is a busy-ish road behind the huts but you can’t hear or see from the room.

The staff was wonderful. From the people working at the restaurant/bar, the concierge Daniel, Fernando & Abigail to the security team. All friendly and provided great recommendations. We stayed at the Signature Room, Upper Floor Oceanview. It’s across the street. It was worth it. You can hear the waves all night. Gorgeous inside and out. Restaurant food and drinks are really good. Make sure you get the colectivo (mini bus/van)to head to the centro and other locations. Very convenient. Just tell the driver where you are headed. Taxis are pricey! The room was wonderful and cleaned very well daily. The staff was very helpful and the property was beautiful. There was a lot of sargassum on the beach which they occasionally cleaned but that is nature.

We loved our stay at Zamas. Our five-person family were very comfortable in a family suite and we loved that the front door opened up to sand, coconut trees and hammocks. The bar/restaurant has a beautiful view right on the water and the bartenders/waiters are very friendly. The only thing that could have been better was if the beach were swimmable. The amount of sargasso was overwhelming. There is no way hotel staff could have cleared the beach, even if they tried. I think our stay was in peak sargasso season. Despite that, we could have stayed much longer at Zamas. It’s a great place to return to while exploring the Tulum area.

We stayed in the Casa Vallejo villa on the hotel property. It was awesome having the privacy and space of the villa, but the amenities of the hotel. Daniel and Fernado who run the hotel were amazing and took care of everything we needed. They set up massages for our group and a yoga class and connected us with a boat excursion that was great. We ended up eating a lot at the hotel restaurant and enjoyed it. The beach directly in front of the hotel is not the best in Tulum, but it is hard to complain when everything else is great.
