The hotel was fine in itself, except hallways and bar were extremely hot. Room air-conditioning was OK though. The issue with the hotel is location. The amount of drug addicts and homeless was unbelievable. You walk out the front door and they are everywhere. Literally injecting themselves outside the hotel and throwing up etc. I would not call the area safe at all and would actively warn against staying in that area. I was travelling with work and had colleagues wirh me and we had to ensure we got Ubers from right outside and waited inside until they arrived. I would certainly not stay in that area on your own. Having travelled extensively around the world, this was the worst place I have ever seen. The whole area is absolutely disgusting.

Hotel is very well located if you need to take the train to the airport. Room is nicely laid out with any amenities you’d expect, albeit a bit cramped as one might find in a major city centre. Staff was watching videos on his phone in the back room for 5 minutes as I waited for someone to come and check me in. I’d ring a bell but there was none. A/C made intermittent noises throughout the night which made it hard to sleep deeply. Also the cabinet blocked the A/C from the bed; unless you were standing directly beneath it you did not feel cool. With that said, it was a well-equipped, central hotel that offered good value for the price I paid.

Upon arrival front desk staff (male) wasn’t friendly. Room wasn’t clean, stepped on broken pieces of glass, fortunately didnt have any cuts. Shower gel was also not filled up & had to call front desk to replenish. Towel also not changed & had to again call them. Overall experience wasn’t that great. Except within walking distance to main train station.
