We treated ourselves for the last night of our two week holiday in and around the area, and we weren't disappointed. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and having a bath on top of a shower was great. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff was friendly. Parking and accessing the hotel for the first time was a little tricky, but it worked out fine (it was easy to access once we had the room keys), and does not detract from how well we enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was great. Staff attentive and polite. Room was spacious and clean. Parking was better than expected and free. Location convenient to public transportation, which for the most part is free! Not far from Harbor or Camden yards. Breakfast was outstanding and we requested to be served in room all three mornings and it was free of charge. Very happy with that! Courtyard was spacious clean and relaxing. Very good place to stay.

Amazing experience. Beautiful hotel, the Declaration Suite is exquisite, staff is friendly and courteous. Breakfast (and the cookies!) were delicious . I highly recommend this venue for any visitors to the Baltimore area who are looking for a unique experience within walking distance to the aquarium and Camden yards . The free parking is a huge plus

The room was gorgeous. So beautifully decorated with a amazingly comfortable bed. Felt like a queen. The option to have coffee ready at my door when I wake up and breakfast delivered to my room was really nice. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and free of odd smells. I would definitely book this hotel the next time Im in Baltimore.

This is a really great hotel. Just a short walking distance from the inner harbor with tons of restaurants. Very clean, nice shower, easy parking situation, friendly staff. Big breakfast. Unique gem, for sure. Don’t hesitate to book. Thanks!

Charming spot near downtown and Little Italy - short jaunt to Fells Point as well. Rooms were clean and comfy and quaint. Especially loved the tub - and breakfast was a nice touch!

The hotel is super unique and very intersting. The breakfast was very good and the courtyard is beautiful. It did need some updating as the normal ware and tear was pretty noticeable. The room was clean though! The only problem is that it is right next to a busy major road.

Stayed in the Patriot’s Room, aka the Cinderella Room. It was beautifully whimsical, clean, and smelled good. Even the decorative bedding smelled clean! The bathroom was roomy, had great ventilation, the tub was huuuge, and the water pressure wasn’t as abysmal as most hotels. The room was very quiet as well, and we couldn’t hear street traffic at all, even on a Ravens Game Day! We especially appreciated that we had to opt in for room turnover instead of getting woken up by banging on the door. Staff was incredibly friendly (probably the friendliest we encountered in Baltimore, lol!) and so patient with me and my questions. The Gluten Free Breakfast Menu is great for gluten intolerance or ncgs, not so much celiac. We have celiac disease and asked the staff if they thought the GF breakfast would be safe from cross-contamination, and staff was very transparent saying that it probably wouldn’t be safe. We risked it anyway and did get glutened, so your mileage may very. I just appreciate the transparency so that we could make an educated decision!

We booked this hotel on our way to Baltimore for the weekend. So happy we booked it! The hotel felt like an oasis once you stepped inside. The room was spacious and clean. The dining area and the court yard were beautiful. The area around the hotel is quiet and close to everything. The highlight is certainly the staff. Cara thank you for the reading recommendations I truly appreciate it. We also enjoyed the breakfast. Everything was great would recommend this hotel.

This was just a lovely experience. The rooms are nicely designed and furnished, if you appreciate the antique look and feel. The breakfast was excellent. You can choose to have breakfast in your room, in the dining area inside, or outside in the courtyard, and you choose the time (between 7a and 9a). We ate in the beautiful courtyard. The staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Independence Suite. It was clean and attractively decorated, and the bathroom is well-designed, large, with a very nice tub and separate shower.

This hotel was beautifully decorated with individually styled rooms relevant to the period. We had an issue with a rattling air conditioning unit on our first night and was immediately re-roomed to a Suite with no fuss or bother. The breakfast in the courtyard was delicious. I would thoroughly recommend this quaint hotel in the centre of Baltimore.

rooms AC was too cold. it was set on 67 and we couldnt turn it off even after asking inn keeper. Had to turn on the fireplace to get it up to 70. Otherwise the room was beautiful. Breakfast was outstanding and the location was perfect!

The 1840s Carrollton was amazing. It was like going back in time with the ambience of this hotel. The room was welcoming and nicely furnished. The staff was helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable including baking cookies upon our arrival. Breakfast was delicious and being able to eat outside was great. It was conveniently located near the places we planned to visit.

1840s Carrollton Inn was in a perfect location. We were able to walk to the Inner Harbor easily. The staff is so nice and welcoming and the breakfast was really tasty. The room is clean and the bathroom is spacious. They provide a black Makeup washcloth which is an awesome touch! There is a microwave and mini fridge in the room with 2 bottles of water. Coffee, iced water dispenser, crunchy granola bars and fresh baked cookies are always available in the dining area. The Carrollton omelet with mushrooms and the works kept me full till the evening. Don't skip on the sides, mixed berries or the banana with nuts and honey.

Wonderful hospitality from all staff and beautiful, period rooms with a great bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Would always stay here when returning to Baltimore.
