Wonderful hotel on the beach (yes, there are two separate hotels, one not one the beach as well). Enjoyed an ocean view room which was perfectly located on the front row, enjoying the view of the beach at all times. Good bar, fine breakfast and polite and kind staff. Be aware some tourists without any manners can ruin the vibe. We were unlucky and had a big party from Israel, which were a nightmare. Not the hotels fault, however would prefer that the staff informed that private food and speakers are not allowed by the pool t.ex. Staff did try to stop them from taking out from the breakfast (whole breads and fruit platters), so I guess they have resigned. Unfortunate, as such behavior ruins other guests experience. Would definitely stay again, regardless, as the location, facility and service was great.

Our room was fabulous, as was the hotel overall. The pool area was large, meaning it never felt over crowded, and led out to a really good size private beach. The breakfast buffet had a great variety, changing daily, and the restaurant menu has enough to keep things varied for a few days.

Sehr schöne Anlage, toller erster Eindruck direkt bei Ankunft. Negativ - jedoch kann das Hotel dies nur bedingt steuern, höchstens mit konsequentem Durchgreifen - ist die Verhaltensweise der Touristen mit der Handtuchmentalität. Es nervt! Egal ob am Pool oder Strand, täglich werden in der Früh Liegen reserviert, die erst zu wesentlich späterer Stunde genutzt werden.

The staff are incredible, they are always willing to help you with taxis and restaurant recommendations! We stayed in the standard room and honestly it was the best room we stayed in throughout our trip to Thailand. The facilities are second to none. I would suggest upgrading to the pool access rooms (if you have a chance), as we didn’t know that the standard rooms were across the road in a separate building. Although, this didn’t make too much of a difference. Very close to the main town, however, far enough away to not have any distribution. Only minor problem is that the sun-beds were always full, so not sure if people were getting up early to reserve these (even though there were signs saying not to do this). Didn’t impact our stay too much it was so close to a lovely beach! And I know this cannot be helped as it happens everywhere! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

Hotel is very clean, tidy, beautifully maintained and well set out. It is near a lot of different dining options also. Breakfast was adequate with a number of fresh choices but not as good as some of the other hotels I have been to. Staff were very helpful in getting eggs orders done, but every time I asked for an omelette, it was still raw (runny) on the inside which put me off. Bacon was so cold and hard the only way to eat it was to pick it up in your fingers. Could not pick it up with a fork. Not sure why it was always stone cold - whether that was the plan or whether the heating device was not working. The only other gripe I have is that a lot of arrogant Europeans seem to think the lilos belong to them. Every morning when there was nobody about anywhere, all the lilos were reserved by people placing towels on them and then disappearing for hours on end until they were ready to use them. There is very small signage saying not to do it, but it is not enforced. So the rest of us who pay the same money to have use of all the facilities have to go without. Wrong. The area itself is in the quieter part of Koh Samui. Catching a taxi to central KS for a 7 mIn journey was quite expensive, and even dearer to come back.

Amazing facilities with pool in front of the beach, beach bar and restaurant, all serving high quality meals and drinks. Room was in the lovely restored old building. the room was large and with 3 balconies. all the details in the room, common corridors and areas are well curated. The beach and hotel facilities within are amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone.

I had an amazing stay at Mercure Samui Chaweng Tana – it strikes the perfect balance between comfort, style, and convenience, right in the heart of Chaweng. The hotel has a modern tropical vibe and a peaceful atmosphere, even though it’s just steps away from all the action. The location is ideal – only a short stroll to the beach and surrounded by shops, restaurants, and everything you need for a great time in Samui. If you can, book an ocean-view room – watching the sunrise every morning was absolutely magical. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with all the essentials you’d expect. I really appreciated how quiet it was at night – it made winding down after a day in the sun so easy. One of my favorite surprises came from the housekeeping team – they created lovely floral decorations on the bed every day. Das Hotel ist wirklich super schön und sauber. Strand und Pool sind sehr sehr schön mit einer direkten Massage Möglichkeit direkt am Wasser. Die Poolbar macht wirklich gute Drinks und auch das Essen, sowieso europäische wie auch die thailändischen Gerichte, sind super. Die Zimmer sind top ausgestattet, das Fitness Studio hat eine gute Größe, das Frühstück ist super lecker und hat eine große Auswahl. Das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich. Die Umgebung ist leider etwas ausgestorben, aber mit Rollern kommt man gut über die Insel. Alles in allem ein klare Empfehlung.

Important!!! All the pictures are from main hotel and its great. But My room was in a different building across the main road. With no balcony, fridge and very average breakfast. Bit it was clean and ok for just a room. Just know where your room is. Oh and the wifi is crap. So if you have to a bit of work or something go to a cafe.

It seems there is a 2nd building actie the street for last minute deals . I really feel fooled as the adverts are misleading. Next to the building is an big poor looking street and the view is on cheap appartment building. Of i would know this I would never booked it . I have Companies at reception .. no response. The staflid nice . Breakfast feels like a poor in this building as you are not allowed to have Breakfast in the other building with sea view . I am really dissapointed in this hotel. Check which building you are in before booking

Stayed in the garden view room. Very nice and would not recommend paying any extra for rooms in main hotel. Breakfast was served in main hotel - unsure if this is due to it being off season and not many people staying in hotel.

Wonderful hotel on the beach (yes, there are two separate hotels, one not one the beach as well). Enjoyed an ocean view room which was perfectly located on the front row, enjoying the view of the beach at all times. Good bar, fine breakfast and polite and kind staff. Be aware some tourists without any manners can ruin the vibe. We were unlucky and had a big party from Israel, which were a nightmare. Not the hotels fault, however would prefer that the staff informed that private food and speakers are not allowed by the pool t.ex. Staff did try to stop them from taking out from the breakfast (whole breads and fruit platters), so I guess they have resigned. Unfortunate, as such behavior ruins other guests experience. Would definitely stay again, regardless, as the location, facility and service was great.

Hotel is very clean, tidy, beautifully maintained and well set out. It is near a lot of different dining options also. Breakfast was adequate with a number of fresh choices but not as good as some of the other hotels I have been to. Staff were very helpful in getting eggs orders done, but every time I asked for an omelette, it was still raw (runny) on the inside which put me off. Bacon was so cold and hard the only way to eat it was to pick it up in your fingers. Could not pick it up with a fork. Not sure why it was always stone cold - whether that was the plan or whether the heating device was not working. The only other gripe I have is that a lot of arrogant Europeans seem to think the lilos belong to them. Every morning when there was nobody about anywhere, all the lilos were reserved by people placing towels on them and then disappearing for hours on end until they were ready to use them. There is very small signage saying not to do it, but it is not enforced. So the rest of us who pay the same money to have use of all the facilities have to go without. Wrong. The area itself is in the quieter part of Koh Samui. Catching a taxi to central KS for a 7 mIn journey was quite expensive, and even dearer to come back.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel, für mich die Lage nicht perfekt, ich wohne lieber etwas mehr „mittendrin“. Ein schönes Zimmer, sehr zuvorkommender Service. Die Preise im Vergleich etwas zu hoch (zumindest für mich) Ich kann das Hotel für Strandurlauber empfehlen und die Massagen am Strand waren richtig gut.

Our room was fabulous, as was the hotel overall. The pool area was large, meaning it never felt over crowded, and led out to a really good size private beach. The breakfast buffet had a great variety, changing daily, and the restaurant menu has enough to keep things varied for a few days.

Das Hotel ist wirklich super schön und sauber. Strand und Pool sind sehr sehr schön mit einer direkten Massage Möglichkeit direkt am Wasser. Die Poolbar macht wirklich gute Drinks und auch das Essen, sowieso europäische wie auch die thailändischen Gerichte, sind super. Die Zimmer sind top ausgestattet, das Fitness Studio hat eine gute Größe, das Frühstück ist super lecker und hat eine große Auswahl. Das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich. Die Umgebung ist leider etwas ausgestorben, aber mit Rollern kommt man gut über die Insel. Alles in allem ein klare Empfehlung.

Room was in the lovely restored old building. the room was large and with 3 balconies. all the details in the room, common corridors and areas are well curated. The beach and hotel facilities within are amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Brilliant staff, Great pool and perfect Beach. Just Great. Free sunbeds. Nice room. Service is 100 percent. A bit pricey but Worth it. The sound and fuzz of Chaweng was not a problem. The Main street is within walking distanse. Highly recommended hotel.

An exceptional stay. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, every area is perfectly maintained. The staff are remarkably kind and always ready to help. The breakfast is varied, fresh, and delicious. The bar offers a very pleasant atmosphere with impeccable service, excellent food and cocktails. Our room with see view was really nice and very comfortable. A perfect experience from start to finish.
