The location was excellent. The room was nothing to write home about. One of the nightstand lamps was burnt out as well as one of the lights in the bathroom. The shower had orange mildew buildup that was easily wiped off with a tissue so we're curious how long it had been since they actually cleaned the shower? There was black hair on the wall of the bathroom from the hair dryer (I'm blonde and my husband is bald). The shelves were dusty and behind the nightstands was caked with grimy dust and dander. We moved the chair in the room and could see exactly where the vacuum couldn't reach. Our thermostat did not work and when we tried calling down to the front desk, we found that the phone didn't work (yes, plugged in). Down the hall from us, a pizza box sat for 2 days outside a door. On Saturday when the room attendant was cleaning, towels and sheets sat on the floor outside the elevators for hours. We stayed with friends in 4 other rooms and they all said the same things about there rooms. "Nothing truly wrong, but just dingey and a little gross". Unfortunately, we probably won't be staying again because at that price and averaged 4/5 star review, we'd expect a little more.

Room was clean but smaller than expected. Very quiet, much appreciated. I went down for breakfast towards the end and no juice left and not much selection of food. Would stay there again.

Enjoyed being into the middle of the historic downtown area. Also enjoyed the Continental breakfast, which offered an automatic pancake machine. My room was small, but clean and well-decorated.
