Amazing location, the hotel looks beautiful and is at the center of everything. Accessible to food and shopping. Extremely clean, there's a nice pool, spa and wonderful service! Hotel is located on a pedestrian street so you cant drive over right to the entrance if you have a car.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of town. Walkway. There is a Parking close by. Hotel adds a discount at the end of stay. There isn’t parking in the property because it’s a walking street. Great ambiance, good breakfast, clean.

Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, quiet room. Lovely patio area. My only criticisms are that the pool did not open until 10am and I wanted to swim before breakfast, and the gym was very small.

The room was nice and clean although a little small, sadly the two guest lifst were out of order for our stay, whilst this was an accident they never really gave us any recompense for the inconvenience. The hotel was nothing special and probably a 4 rather than a 5 star hotel for me

Gorgeous hotel. We had visited Porto Bay Rio de Janeiro on our honeymoon so were very excited to visit one of the sister hotels. We had a room with a balcony which overlooked the beautiful courtyard. We loved the way many of the original baroque features had been kept. There was even a quiet little reading room with some boardgames, a fireplace and jazz music. The spa was small but very nicely done out with everything we needed. There was building work going on very close by on weekdays (nothing anyone can do about that), but the windows were well soundproofed and kept the noise out. The location is ideal - aboit 5.minutes from the waterfront and loads of cafes and restaurants right on the doorstep. We visited Porto for my husband's 40th birthday, and we were greeted by a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate cake on the day - we hadnt even mentioned his birthday to the staff, it was just attention to detail! The staff were alsi veru helpful in offering advice on where to visit and restaurant recommendations, and making reservations for us.

Amazing 5 star hotel with excellent amenities, such as pool, spa, and great bar & restaurant. It is also beautiful and has great decor. I loved the stone look inside. The room was very spacious, the bed super comfortable with tons of pillows. The bathroom was very nice, they gave us robes, slippers, and other kits. Every day they did the bed and provided chocolate and coffee pods, for the coffee machine. We stayed there on Valentine’s Day and it was awesome. The food at the bar and brunch is really good. We had sardines and a charcuterie board with wine and Sangria. The service of the hotel is excellent, they were very attentive and let us check in our luggage for free. We had a late flight, so they let us store the bags for free. The hotel is very well located and centered in Porto, very close to many different attractions. We never took public transportation, but it is close to them. There are also many different restaurants and shops around it. I would stay here again for sure!

Super friendly staff a credit to the hotel. Rooms were great and the hotel benefits from a spa with gym and treatment rooms. Food in the first floor restaurant was outstanding and the bar has a happy hour downstairs from 3pm. Hotel is in proximity to a host of great restaurants and bars but dont be suprised if they dont open before 7pm. great base for Porto sightseeing. Probably a good idea not to bring a vehicle as parking is limited and expensive around the hotel.

Above all, the staff (from reception, breakfast, wellness area to room maids) in this hotel must be praised; they are friendly, attentive and helpful. Our room was large and had everything we would expect from such a hotel. The breakfast buffet was good, but the selection and presentation could be improved. The coffee and juices were very tasty. And we really liked the positive and friendly waitress Fabriana. The wellness area with heated pool, dry sauna and steam sauna is small, but we liked it. We had to complain to the hotel about the water quality (lots of small white flakes) and the slimy edge of the pool. The pool is apparently not checked or cleaned regularly. Hopefully there will be a maintenance interval for this pool soon. (This also applies to the dirty stairs to the left of the small church outside.) Nevertheless, we can recommend this PortoBay Flores! Many thanks to all the staff!

A superior upper floor room … touted as a vip accommodation was extremely small / tight for 2 people. We had no place to put our luggage and no room to dress. I paid the same amount as my cousin and his room was much much bigger. I think they gave away the room I paid for to someone else. I complained to the manager but not much could be done.

We had a little trouble finding the hotel and arrived after midnight. William actually came and got us from the parking garage recommended by the hotel. The Staff was wonderful. Room was perfect. Excellent amenities. Comfortable bed. Great bathroom and rain shower. Beautiful view from our room. Bar staff was friendly and attentive.

Stayed in one of the newer rooms and although it was clean and modern it was noisy (not from outside noise). Could hear water dripping in the pipes constantly and lots of strange clicking noises. Service was ok but not to the level of a 5 star hotel. Best thing about this hotel is its location. Was able to walk everywhere of interest in the city easily and it is on a fun street with lots of bars, shops and restaurants.

Excellent service from before check-in till check-out. Arrangements for Airport transfer went without a hitch and with the added bonus of being delivered to the door of the hotel. The street is limited access and most transports will drop you off a block away. Room was spacious and well appointed. Cafe was well provisioned and the cocktails were spot on. We opted from breakfast and it did not disappoint. We split our stay and stored our luggage at the desk. It was in our room for the second part of our stay without any prior arrangement. If you are looking for a top end experience in the center of all that is fun and historic in Porto this is your place to stay

I use Hotels.com quite a bit and I reckon this is the best place I have stayed. The price (in early Feb) was very reasonable and the standard of the hotel was extremely high. Beautiful building and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Notably so. This is my new place to stay in Porto.

호텔은 레노베이션 한지 얼마 안 되어서 깨끗하고 너무 예뻤습니다 그렇지만 직원 서비스는 좀 미흡 하고 아시안인 이라고 좀 무시하는 태도를 보인 직원도 있었습니다. 아침 식사는 종류가 별로 없어 좀 실망했습니다. 하지만 호텔이 너무 예쁘고 중정의 분위기가 좋아 다시 가볼 만한 포르투에 호텔 입니다

First class hotel. Excellent and helpful staff without exception, at reception, in the bar/restaurant, and at breakfast. Room was spotless and was kept that way by the room staff. Had five breakfasts and one evening meal there - all outstanding.

This hotel is in a perfect location to stay for a few days. The hotel is beautiful, as well as the area around it. Our room was spacious with lovely garden views. We could easily have stayed here for a much longer time. The amenities are plentiful and the staff is very friendly. The hotel is located on a pedestrian street, so not all transport companies can drive directly on the street. There may be a short walk depending on how you arrive at the hotel. It was not a problem for us.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful resort. The PortoBay Flores provided outstanding service, immaculently clean and spacious accommodations on the 8th floor with a balcony and stunning view of Porto, a delicious meal at their restaurant, and several tasty drinks at their bar. Not only is the hotel itself fantastic, it is perfectly located in an ideal spot for exploring the city along a fantastic pedestrian only street. We would absolutely stay here again, and after this experience, we would eagerly stay at another PortoBay resort while exploring a different city.

A truly superb hotel with wonderful staff, excellent facilites and every comfort. We were warmly welcomed and loved every minute of our stay. The location is perfect for exploring Porto - close to everything and yet in a quiet pedestrianised street with great restaurants nearby.

Great location but kind of a hassle with a car. Parking overnight adds 30 euros per night. Plus you do not need a car in Porto. If traveling from other locations plan to return the car before visiting Porto!

Beautiful hotel in a great walkable location to dozens of restaurants and shops. Part of the hotel is a 500 year old palace with a beautiful courtyard, stone columns and staircases. Small and intimate hotel - the staff are all lovely, helpful, speak perfect English. Highly recommend.

Excellent property and stay, we enjoyed it very much. Stayed with our family in adjoining rooms, which worked out very nicely. Small but adequate fitness room, which they were willing to open up early for us. The breakfast was excellent. There were welcome snacks in the room upon our arrival - a nice touch. Great location, easy to walk to the river, shops, dining, train station. Overall, excellent.

Amazing 5 star hotel with excellent amenities, such as pool, spa, and great bar & restaurant. It is also beautiful and has great decor. I loved the stone look inside. The room was very spacious, the bed super comfortable with tons of pillows. The bathroom was very nice, they gave us robes, slippers, and other kits. Every day they did the bed and provided chocolate and coffee pods, for the coffee machine. We stayed there on Valentine’s Day and it was awesome. The food at the bar and brunch is really good. We had sardines and a charcuterie board with wine and Sangria. The service of the hotel is excellent, they were very attentive and let us check in our luggage for free. We had a late flight, so they let us store the bags for free. The hotel is very well located and centered in Porto, very close to many different attractions. We never took public transportation, but it is close to them. There are also many different restaurants and shops around it. I would stay here again for sure!

Muy bonito, inmejorable ubicación y excelente servicio. Lo bueno de estar en una calle muy concurrida, pero al mismo tiempo muy silencioso para dormir en las habitaciones del fondo. El servicio de comida en el bar es bastante lento. Sería el único punto a mejorar.

I absolutely loved my stay at Porto Bay. It’s right in the center of everything. All of the major monuments are within easy walking distance. The staff was excellent, courteous, and professional. I will definitely stay here again when I come back. The price is perfect, and the accommodations are excellent. The restaurant is absolutely superb and the bar staff is really good.
