Staffs are helpful and informative. Kindly suggested me the good rate Cambio nearby. The elevator was cool but needs maintenance (didn’t open the door and I was almost locked in!).

O hotel é uma casa antiga transformada, o que proporciona uma atmosfera diferente. A decoração moderna contrasta com o antigo. Muito legal. Os quartos e os banheiros poderiam melhorar mas sao confortáveis. Serviu muito bem ao nosso proposito que era somente um pernoite. Atendimento da equipe é nota 10.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is located in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of boutique shops and restaurants. The hotel had lots of open spaces to work, enjoy a glass of wine or lay in the sun.

BEST HOTEL IN ARGENTINA. This was the nicest place I stayed in a month of travelling around Argentina. Clean, nice rooms, great aircon. Simple and basic, but inclusive breakfast for all guests. Jan and his team run a tight ship. Friendly helpful staff. Great location in beautiful safe Palermo. Good restaurants close by Gorgeous roof terrace for chilled relaxing evenings too. I would definitely recommending spending a few dollars more for one of the nicer larger rooms with high ceilings, and en suite bathroom. Most rooms have en suite anyway. Well worth it

Beautiful property in an older building, and they have done an excellent job making this feel like a unique, artistic hotel. Bed was also comfortable, bathroom was clean, and staff were always present and friendly. Great upstairs terrrace and lots of areas to sit, work or just chill out. Very walkable area right out the door with good restaurants just a few blocks away.

Very bohemian spot. Great access to restaurants and markets. Best part of stay was going to local grocery and picking up beer and wine and going to roof top terrace where we socialized with other guests. Staff wonderful and set us up for a very early airport trip.

We often stay in Palermo when we are in Buenos Aires and this is the first time we have stayed at hotel Costa Rica. It was just lovely. The design was amazing and the hotel has a great vibe with a lovely rooftop terrace. Owner was super friendly

The hotel has lots of character being a renovated antique home with very pleasant decor and rooftop sitting area. The staff super nice and friendly. The rooms very comfortable and an excellent safe neighborhood, walking distance to many dining and drinking options. The price was super good for what you get! I would stay there again. Loved the place all and all

Keep in mind this was and old house so hotel is kinda old. It was raining while I was there and the room I was had some leaks and immediately they upgraded my room. You have to understand the history of the building before comparing others but the staff response was always top class. Hotel is in Palermo area so you can walk everywhere with no issues. Small grocery stores are nearby so you can get your drinks to prep to go out and grab an Uber if you want. Dear fellow Americans: they offer American style breakfast but portions are normal 😄

Very bad internet. Internet stopped working for two days. They told me it was the whole area but I asked their next door neighbor and the business across the street and they had internet. I had to change rooms three times. Very little hot water in all three rooms. Hot water would only last a couple of minutes and then get cold. Rain water making the floors slippery and dangerous. Not every room has a safe.

La instalación es regular. La habitación cuenta con el baño dividido . Cómo había leído la zona de la ducha no es tan íntima, ya que posee media mampara no esmerilada y la vista da a la cama... Lo que puedo señalar cómo positivo que posee buena presión de agua. Se nota problema de humedad. No posee iluminación natural y climatización (sólo cuenta con ventilador de pie y una estufa eléctrica). El desayuno es adecuado y posee un dispenser de agua fría/caliente en la recepción.

The property is definitely not an 8.3 rating as they displayed it on a sign in the dining area. The rooms are too small and cramped. The shower was awful as there was no place to put one’s toiletries or simply the soap. Also, when it rained, the water came down on the floors everywhere. The breakfasts were below adequate. Most of the staff was very nice and helpful with the exception of Carlos, who was the rudest Argentine we have ever met. He refused to give me change for a $10000 pesos or even contemplate us paying one of the two front desk workers to take our laundry to the laundromat for pay or for me to approach the cleaning lady to ask her to do it for us for pay. Consequently, we had to cancel one of our tours in order to get back earlier in order to drop the laundry off. The other workers, like Franco, were awesome. Finally, having no tv in the rooms is inconceivable as every other hotel we have stayed in Argentina for a similar price has always had it. Also, the walls and floors appeared unkempt, paint chipped, cement floors broken, that is, the “shabby chic” ness was totally not the case.

Loved Hotel Costa Rica. Quiet location and lovely decor with some funky art work and a cosy lounge. Very accommodating staff who made me a delicious toasted panini on request when I came in late, accompanied by a nice cold beer. Big, comfortable bed and pillows, big bathroom and shower and best of all a quiet air conditioner! The city was in the grip of a heat wave when I was there in March so air con a must! Restaurants and cafes close. I would definite stay here again.

Super hotel for the price. Bathroom was large and shower worked great. The light wasn't really strong, so shaving was difficult. The heater worked well but was noisy. I was also at the front of the property and the traffic was noisy because it's in a cobble street. Luckily there were not many cars in the wee hours. Staff were all very welcoming, helpful, and friendly.

It was a last minute booking after a flight was cancelled but the room has the shower openly a part of the bedroom, the toilet was in a cupboard under the staircase, it was dark, window to hallway and overall very tight. It was fine for one night only.

Localização perfeita. Perto de mercado, farmacia e bares bem legais. Fiquei no quarto 3. Minúsculo. Tanto o box do chuveiro quanto o quarto em si. Mas a cama foi super confortável, o ar condicionado também e o banho foi ótimo. Como sugestão, eu substituiria o aparador de vidro por um 20cm mais estreito e com 2 prateleiras pois o quarto é mínimo e comnum pequenino espaço para roupas. O café é fraco demais. Sem medialunas, só tem pão de forma, requeijão, manteiga e doce de leite, além de suco de laranja, iogurte e sucrilhos. Podiam colocar medialunas. Enfim, pequenos ajustes para tornar uma excelente opção.

Enjoyed the area and the staff was helpful. Able to walk to many restaurants and had a good communal area. The room was not very large and the bathrooms are separate from your room which is a bit odd…but overall great for the price and worth the stay

A localização do hotel é muito boa, várias opções de restaurantes no entorno, a hospedagem é um antigo casario, a arquitetura é bem bacana, e cumpriu para o pernoite que precisávamos fazer em Buenos Aires, mas carece de melhor conforto, isolamento acústico das unidades e achamos o café simples demais, com ajustes pode ficar melhor.
A localização do hotel é muito boa, várias opções de restaurantes no entorno, a hospedagem é um antigo casario, a arquitetura é bem bacana, e cumpriu para o pernoite que precisávamos fazer em Buenos Aires, mas carece de melhor conforto, isolamento acústico das unidades e achamos o café simples demais, com ajustes pode ficar melhor.

Hotel Costa Rica gets an 11 on a scale of 10!! We absolutely recommend to ANYONE. Hotel staff went above and beyond to help us with everything from directions to straightening out a booking situation gone terribly wrong. Antonio, Mariana and Franco were our guardian angels!

What a lovely stay we had at Hotel Costa Rica! The room was comfortable, and the common areas were cute and inviting. All the staff we interacted with were kind and helpful. Highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is located in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of boutique shops and restaurants. The hotel had lots of open spaces to work, enjoy a glass of wine or lay in the sun.

The property is definitely not an 8.3 rating as they displayed it on a sign in the dining area. The rooms are too small and cramped. The shower was awful as there was no place to put one’s toiletries or simply the soap. Also, when it rained, the water came down on the floors everywhere. The breakfasts were below adequate. Most of the staff was very nice and helpful with the exception of Carlos, who was the rudest Argentine we have ever met. He refused to give me change for a $10000 pesos or even contemplate us paying one of the two front desk workers to take our laundry to the laundromat for pay or for me to approach the cleaning lady to ask her to do it for us for pay. Consequently, we had to cancel one of our tours in order to get back earlier in order to drop the laundry off. The other workers, like Franco, were awesome. Finally, having no tv in the rooms is inconceivable as every other hotel we have stayed in Argentina for a similar price has always had it. Also, the walls and floors appeared unkempt, paint chipped, cement floors broken, that is, the “shabby chic” ness was totally not the case.

BEST HOTEL IN ARGENTINA. This was the nicest place I stayed in a month of travelling around Argentina. Clean, nice rooms, great aircon. Simple and basic, but inclusive breakfast for all guests. Jan and his team run a tight ship. Friendly helpful staff. Great location in beautiful safe Palermo. Good restaurants close by Gorgeous roof terrace for chilled relaxing evenings too. I would definitely recommending spending a few dollars more for one of the nicer larger rooms with high ceilings, and en suite bathroom. Most rooms have en suite anyway. Well worth it

Very bohemian spot. Great access to restaurants and markets. Best part of stay was going to local grocery and picking up beer and wine and going to roof top terrace where we socialized with other guests. Staff wonderful and set us up for a very early airport trip.

At first glance it doesn’t look exciting but it’s amazing small hotel in a great walking district of Buenos atirs. You feel transported to a different era. Lots of lounges and comfy seats. Very pleasant staff … helpful. Bed was comfy.

Beautiful property in an older building, and they have done an excellent job making this feel like a unique, artistic hotel. Bed was also comfortable, bathroom was clean, and staff were always present and friendly. Great upstairs terrrace and lots of areas to sit, work or just chill out. Very walkable area right out the door with good restaurants just a few blocks away.

Loved Hotel Costa Rica. Quiet location and lovely decor with some funky art work and a cosy lounge. Very accommodating staff who made me a delicious toasted panini on request when I came in late, accompanied by a nice cold beer. Big, comfortable bed and pillows, big bathroom and shower and best of all a quiet air conditioner! The city was in the grip of a heat wave when I was there in March so air con a must! Restaurants and cafes close. I would definite stay here again.

Geeat stay in Palermo. The staff were friendly and the rooms were tidy. The hotel is quite and designed well. The breakfast is not rich but OK, there is a cool close rooftop to chill at, and they are nearby the center area of Palermo.

Basic property but in a great location. Room was small but was as described. Included breakfast was a disappointment being mostly pastries and bread. Check-out was 10am, which is absurdly early. Bed was comfortable and staff was friendly enough. If you are just looking for a place to store your stuff and sleep for a short stay, this place is fine.

Nous avons eu une grande chambre avec vue sur la rue. Numéro 7. Les autres chambres sont petites et souvent sans fenêtre. Lors du paiement on a voulu nous imposer une taxe de 21 pour cent en plus, nous avons refusé, le prix hotel.com étant taxes et frais compris. Le wifi fonctionnait très très mal, la climatisation est bruyante, le petit déjeuner très somaire. A part ca tout va bien.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was fine, especially for the price. The shower worked great, but slightly flooded the floor and the hot water knob was not attached. Not a big deal. The room was also kind of noisy due to it's location at the bottom of the stairs. Breakfast was good.
