Perfect stay - air conditioned rooms, clean. Parking outside the hotel. Will definitely stay here again when making trips on the ferry.

Check in staff and service excellent especially the young lady on duty was extremely helpful, room alright except, there is no lift to carry luggage, good internet, free onsite parking, good heating in rooms.

Needed a hotel that was close to Caen Memorial bit also easy access off to the Normandy beaches. Fitted perfect. Also had onsite parking. Quiet area, mostly mixture of commercial and light industrial but still close to the town centre. Staff all very helpful and reasonably priced. Would stay here again.

When booking Hotels.com did not offer a breakfast included option and when we got to the property it was priced at €14.50 per head. I have to say the way it is presented, there are no real cooked options and it is all a bit crowded and tightly packed for ease of access so queues result at slightly busier times. Not sure compared to other hotels I have stayed at relatively recently (and in the Caen area) this is favourable valuewise Dinner options (3 choices but it seems at least one runs out before 8PM every day and an alternative is offered). Also delaying deciding about a dessert if you want one or not seems to be not welcomed and when you have finished your second course and decide you want a dessert at 8:45 you find the kitchen is closed so no way. There are not many eating alternatives close by (La Boucherie nearby and walkable provided a good steak) so delaying your arrival at dinner to 8:00PM means you might be limited. Room compact but all you need there, bed comfortable and air conditioning did work well. Could be noisy from nearby occupants one day a dog was barking in a nearby room at 6:00 AM! Parking in a locked at night more secure area was freely offered. Not sure about the accessibility if you do not have a car as local bus services seem limited, so you'd be reduced to taxis.

Our family room was very comfortable but there were a lot of stairs to climb to get to it though! It was walkable to the Memorial and we were able to leave our car while visiting it.

We had a rented car, so we appreciated the convenient parking right at the hotel. There is optional secure parking for a moderate fee. We had a "double" room, which was very small with tiny cupboards for clothing and other items. The room was clean, comfortable, well maintained and quiet.

Etat de propreté de la chambre et ménage laissant à désirer... Douche mal construite et non étanche : l'eau s'est répandue sur les cotés rendant l'utilisation difficile de la salle de bain.

La douche n’était pas nickel, il n’y avait presque plus de savon.

Un agréable séjour. Le ménage dans les chambres est motyen : draps tachés et porte d'entree maculee de trace de doigts et de mains, poussière dans les meubles. L'hygiène au buffet du petit déjeuner peut être améliorée. La pince pour les oeufs brouillés trampait dans la graisse des saucisses. J'ai trouvé des cheveux dans l'appareil pour les oeufs a la coque.

Great stop over after a late ferry before a long drive. Clean and comfortable.

Le plus : Bon rapport qualité-prix Le moins : J'avais sélectionné cet hôtel car il y avait un restaurant, mais lorsque nous sommes arrivés le samedi, j'ai appris que le restaurant est fermé le week-end. Je me suis dit que nous allions l'essayer le lundi, mais lorsque j'ai demandé à l'acueil la carte pour le soir, on m'a répondu que le restaurant était complet. (plusieurs autocars sur le parking) j'ai donc compris que les clients de l'hôtel passaient après les visiteurs du restaurant. Nous y sommes restés trois nuits et concernant notre chambre à part le lit qui a été fait, ils n'ont pas changé les essuies de la salle de bain, ni les gobelets et pas de gel dans la douche. Ils n'ont pas remplacé les gobelets pour le café et ni réassortis les doses de café.

I booked this hotel for a 1 night stopover prior to catching a ferry. I have booked the hotel once before about 3 years ago, and my previous experience was good. When we walked down the corridor leading to our ground floor room, there was a strong odour. We weren't sure what it was. It was a bit sweet and perfumey. I couldn't decide if it was an unusual smelling cleaning product or something being used to disguise or cover another odour. The room also had a slight odour, but this was a bit musty and unpleasant. The room was clean although the shower room looked tired with discoloured grout around the shower. There was also discolouration around the plughole in the sink, which was due to a build up of soap etc and not having been properly cleaned. Also the sink waste overflow was very dirty. On the plus side, we found the staff helpful at check in and the hotel was quiet overnight. The bed was comfortable. We didn't have breakfast so unable to comment on that. I did notice that there were 3 coach parties staying at the hotel and the dining room was very busy both in the evening and on the morning we checked out. Our experience wasn't as good as our last stay here and we are unlikely to stay again.

Wonderful, perfect, clean, modern, convenient for memorial site visits. This hotel exceeded our expectations, the family room comfortably accommodated 3 adults and two children, everything was fresh, clean, inviting and quiet. The room had very beautiful lighting and was perfectly set up. Breakfast was also perfect for our family. I strongly recommend…

We wanted a family room for 5 of us, which are often difficult to fund. The room was perfect and solved for our needs really well, along with being well appointed and clean. A nice breakfast and friendly staff, for a reasonable price. Very pleased.

You would think when the area has no restaurants open on a Sunday the hotel would cater guests. Very poor and disappointing. Wouldn’t stay there again on a Sunday. Rooms basic but comfortable. Thin walls, could hear a rowdy room despite being at end of corridor

Nous sommes arriver vendredi soir vers 23h, la dame de l'accueil qui nous a enregistré n'étais pas du tout souriante limite de mauvais poil c'est bien dommage car la suite de nôtre week end s'est très bien passer, le personnel du samedi matin est top les 2 dames très aimable et au taquet sur le service très souriante, nous sommes sorti à la plage toute la journée et sommes revenu à l'hôtel vers 19h et c'etais la même dame qui nous avais accueilli le soir d'avant et je confime cette personne manque d'amabilité et de sourire et n'ai pas du tout accueillante. Pour nous c'est le seul point négatif de cet hôtel car la propreté Ras, personnel du matin RAS le petit déjeuner Ras vous pouvez venir les yeux fermés

45 minutes de Check-in, informatiquement un désastre, pas d’impression de facture Un bus de 60 enfants dans l’hôtel, malgré nos demandes, aucune intervention du personnel- j‘ai dû coucher tous les gamins à 2h30 !!! Rassemblés dans le couloir de l’hôtel. Inadmissible

Good value hotel. Good location is passing through. Not much in vicinity for a tourist. Easy access to all the DDay beaches from here.

Great hotel. Food was excellent and VFM. Near memorial museum. Allows dogs (10€). Great staff.

Excellently placed for our trip to the memorial and the beaches whilst en route to Spain. Thoughly enjoyed our stay. Restaurant was 1st class.

Overnight stay while going from Brittany to stop and see the Normandy sights. Excellent price, really excellent quality, great fresh air conditioned rooms, spotless and really professional polite multi lingual staff. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Not notified when booking that the weekend was a public holiday. Therefore the restaurant and bar were closed evenings for the whole stay. Breakfast was available. Eating out also therefore was a bit restrictive. It would have been advisable for hotel to advise when booking about the holiday and closures.
