Stayed 2 nights

A double-queen room came up when I booked for 5 people (4 adults, 1 child). Like most hotels, I expected 2 queen beds plus a sofa bed, but this room only had 2 queen beds, an armchair, and ottoman. The hotel essentially said it’s a known Marriott issue, and “tough luck.” The front desk staff were extremely kind and tried to help, but there were no extra rooms and management was unreachable. We were told any additional room would be at our expense, with no guarantee management would do anything. The lack of management and care was reflected throughout the hotel. While the lobby was constantly being cleaned or worked on, the hallways, carpets, and elevators were dirty. The laundry room was extremely outdated, still requiring $4 in quarters per washer and dryer in 2026. Our room itself was mixed. The beds were comfortable, and the linens and surfaces were clean, but my son had to sleep on a makeshift bed using the chair, ottoman, and luggage rack. Just horrible! The bathroom was in poor condition—loose tiles, cracked grout, dirty corners, and a clogged shower drain that maintenance claimed to fix but didn’t. And this is why I always choose Hilton properties, even for work purposes. Never had issues with them, plus you get free breakfasts!

The fitness facility has very limited equipment. It is just cardio equipment and a few free weights. The laundry facility is quarter fed, but there is no way to get quarters except at the front desk which is not always staffed. They put me in a room across the hall from where very noisy maintenance was happening late at night (hammers and drills into the evening). Groups of unattended children making too much noise late into the night. Low water pressure at the sinks and toilet. No covered parking means your car will be boiling hot if you decide to pay extra to use it. This facility fell far short of my expectations of a Marriott hotel.

Beautiful hotel, but simply would not go again due to the forced valet at $31 a night- no self parking allowed. Meaning if you forget anything in the car or want to go anywhere, you have to go downstairs and ask an attendant for your vehicle. It’s not very quick either, so plan accordingly. If you’re planning to stay at the hotel your whole trip, might be better, but for trying to go out and explore, it is a hassle. Again, the rooms themselves were gorgeous, but our toilet stopped working and the shower stopped draining on the 2nd night. For a brand new hotel , you would expect everything to be in working condition.
