We stayed one night!! The home has so many original and beautiful features. We stayed in a room with a 2 queens and a full bath. It also had a fainting couch, chair, and dresser. It was below zero outside but our room was plenty warm!! We had an amazing home made breakfast in the parlor room. It was amazing and such a fun change from a boring hotel room.

Air conditioning blew in our faces so put our heads at foot of the bed and that was much better. Could not adjust air conditioning. Steep stairs but did enjoy the lift. Wish we knew about it before dragging our luggage up upon arrival.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful historical mansion. The hostess was warm and welcoming, and we really appreciated being able to check in a couple of hours early due to a family event. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy street parking. Our room had a private bath and in room climate control, which made it extra comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight—delicious fresh scones and quiche! We especially enjoyed sipping our morning coffee on the charming front porch. We’d definitely stay again if we’re back in the area.

Since its a b&b don't expect staff to be there 24/7. Beautiful old home that has been restored. A lot of the furniture and fixtures seemed period specific for the home, there is a nice parlor and cozy kitchen and dining room down stairs. The home smells nice and was clean. The home feels like it was pulled right out of history books The hostess greeted us and was very nice. Trans friendly business. Our room was a bit small but very comfortable. We stayed in the tower room as it was the only one left so thats probably why it was smaller. They served breakfast and all we had to do was wait on the front porch. They served quiche and toasted sourdough bread with honey on it and orange juice and coffee. There were glass wine glasses and plastic cups in the room. Thats a nice touch as most hotels dont provide wine glasses in the rooms. They made sure to have the room cool for us ahead of time. Its a short drive to many restaurants and other things. St joe isnt that big of a city so most things are 5 minutes away and 15 at the most. Wife and i had a wonderful time and will go back for sure.

Loved the beautiful mansion and its antiquities. Owen was very cordial and informative. Pressure of the shower was a little low so it took me a while to get the soap out my hair. Otherwise I loved it. The breakfast was phenomenal.

It is a lovely property. The breakfasts were delicious and served with pride and enthusiasm. We stayed there three nights and our beds were comfortable and it was quiet all night. The mansion’s ambiance delighted us. We met and chatted with people staying there as well as with the delightful woman who prepared our breakfast and I assume tidied our room.

This was a quick overnight stop for us on our way elsewhere, but wanted to make the most for our brief stay in Saint Joseph. It was beautiful and the staff was fantastic. Literally the ONLY issue we had was the firmness and stiffness of the mattress. We woke up a little sore, but that could also be because we love a more plush mattress, so it was just a little uncomfortable for us. But overall, it was a beautiful home and so quiet, both inside and out. Thank you both, Olin and Holly, for your warm welcome!

This place is great! Staff is amazing. History of the ,mansion is intriguing and placed all over for viewing. Beautiful woodwork and rooms. The only thing i would change is the water pressure in the shower was low and the pillows weren't great in our bed. Breakfast was a showstopper! Would definitely stay here again.

Check-in was so easy! They asked about dietary restrictions and accommodated mine for breakfast. Set aside breakfast so we could eat after our race, even though it was after breakfast hours! The room was perfect! Jetted claw foot tub was heavenly!

This place is AMAZING! I love the history and the “old time “ feel of it. The manager was so responsive and patient with me. The young lady that cooked breakfast and cleaned the rooms was BEYOND amazing. If you’re ever in the St Joseph area-I give this mansion 6 stars!!!

The Whiskey Mansion was a great option for us. We had a party to attend nearby and this location was great. The inn keeper (Holly?) was super friendly and welcoming without being oversolicitous. The house itself is gorgeous and our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast we were served was absolutely amazing. You will get nothing like it at your “breakfast included” hotels. We would highly recommend the Whiskey Mansion to anyone who has plans in downtown St Joe and needs a spot to crash for a night or two.

We truly appreciated the uniqueness and history of this property. Most of the accommodations made us feel like we'd taken a step back in time. It was fun. Two items, we needed Kleenex and there was none provided. The second is, the neighborhood around the mansion was a bit sketchy, which was not a problem for us as we were only overnight.

The property itself was very well kept, the rooms were nice, the staff were very friendly, and the food was tasty. The neighbor hood around the bed and breakfast was very run down with lots of vacant buildings which were boarded up and just overall not a very good neighborhood.

Beautiful place! Very nicely kept, restored mansion in a quiet neighborhood. Breakfast was excellent. I was only there for a one-night visit, but would definitely return for a longer stay when I have time to spend in St. Joseph!

The Whiskey Mansion was a great option for us. We had a party to attend nearby and this location was great. The inn keeper (Holly?) was super friendly and welcoming without being oversolicitous. The house itself is gorgeous and our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast we were served was absolutely amazing. You will get nothing like it at your “breakfast included” hotels. We would highly recommend the Whiskey Mansion to anyone who has plans in downtown St Joe and needs a spot to crash for a night or two.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful historical mansion. The hostess was warm and welcoming, and we really appreciated being able to check in a couple of hours early due to a family event. Breakfast was a highlight—delicious fresh scones and quiche! We especially enjoyed sipping our morning coffee on the charming front porch. We’d definitely stay again if we’re back in the area.

Since its a b&b don't expect staff to be there 24/7. Beautiful old home that has been restored. A lot of the furniture and fixtures seemed period specific for the home, there is a nice parlor and cozy kitchen and dining room down stairs. The home smells nice and was clean. The home feels like it was pulled right out of history books The hostess greeted us and was very nice. Trans friendly business. Our room was a bit small but very comfortable. We stayed in the tower room as it was the only one left so thats probably why it was smaller. They served breakfast and all we had to do was wait on the front porch. They served quiche and toasted sourdough bread with honey on it and orange juice and coffee. There were glass wine glasses and plastic cups in the room. Thats a nice touch as most hotels dont provide wine glasses in the rooms. They made sure to have the room cool for us ahead of time. Its a short drive to many restaurants and other things. St joe isnt that big of a city so most things are 5 minutes away and 15 at the most. Wife and i had a wonderful time and will go back for sure.

We never made for an evening stay, we went into use the bathroom and then we left. Staff were very nice and attentive for our brief 3 minute walk through to the bathroom. The area around the Whiskey Mansion are very unfavorable and rundown. Lots of halfway houses, We did not feel safe seeing most of the houses were abandoned and boarded up and people coming in and out of them. I really did have high hopes for this affordable property but safety is our top priority and concern.

Check-in was so easy! They asked about dietary restrictions and accommodated mine for breakfast. Set aside breakfast so we could eat after our race, even though it was after breakfast hours! The room was perfect! Jetted claw foot tub was heavenly!

This place is great! Staff is amazing. History of the ,mansion is intriguing and placed all over for viewing. Beautiful woodwork and rooms. The only thing i would change is the water pressure in the shower was low and the pillows weren't great in our bed. Breakfast was a showstopper! Would definitely stay here again.
