We stayed at Guaycura for 2 nights. It was a delightful way to break up our trip between the airport and La Paz. The room was lovely. Very well appointed with a comfortable bed and silky Egyptian Cotton sheets. Loved the spacious bathroom with a great shower and huge copper tub. The rooftop dining room and pool were excellent, As was the beach club & spa, which was very comfortable, with excellent food, beautiful pool and great stretch of beach to walk along and marvel at the Pacific Ocean. It was a 10/10 experience!

Wonderful hotel in a great location, we booked a spacious King Suite on the first floor and enjoyed our stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend going to their beach club which is a short drive away for a day at the beach/pool and a great lunch or massage at the spa.

Easy check in. Gorgeous hotel with an awesome rooftop terrace. The terrace has a pool and bar. Rooms are large and comfortable and very clean. You’ll have to park on the street as there is no hotel parking.

Stunning property! Lovely and helpful staff!! We had a shower leak and the immediately helped us and were able to move us to another open room. We visited the Beach Club and El Faro Beach - unreal!!! So beautiful and a really unique and special beach experience.

Guaycura Boutique Hotel was near perfect and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Todos Santos. We looked at beach hotels and downtown hotels in BCS before finding Guaycura which is the best of both worlds. The hotel is downtown in Todos Santos, walkable to dozens of shops, restaurants etc. and with a rooftop pool. Included with your stay are beach club privileges at El Faro Beach Club, just a short drive away and a beautiful location with a large pool right on the beach. Free to use unless you want to reserve a bed/chairs actually on the beach. There are plenty of loungers by the pool so this isn't necessary. I'd like to especially call out the staff - both at the hotel and the beach club. All were unfailingly helpful, polite and friendly, Estrella in particular who answered a number of our questions before we booked Street parking is available around the hotel. Obviously, at times it was busier than others, usually I was able to park within 100 feet of the hotel entrance and only 2 or 3 times I had to park a block and a half away. The beach club at the end of a long sandy road has plenty of parking. It would be unreasonable to choose a downtown hotel and not expect to hear noise from the street. Depending on your room, you may hear street noise through mid-evening. This mainly meant we couldn't sleep with the windows open. With windows closed and a/c on, we were not disturbed but those extra-sensitive to noise should consider themselves warned.

I really didn’t want to write this review since the hotel honored my cancellation of the remaining 3 nights. Nevertheless, I feel I owe it to the travel community to share my experience. First and foremost, we were greeted by a dead cockroach on our balcony. We told the staff and while they cleaned it, nary an apology for quite frankly a grotesque find. You don’t expect that at this price point — $400 !!! We immediately initiated a cancellation request and the front desk seemed to be perturbed by it. Like WE were causing THEM an inconvenience. While we got that request, we still had to stay two nights. What else did we have in store for us? A toilet that didn’t properly flush, one trash can for the entire room, ONE robe for a 2 double bed room, a half carafe of water (no cups), no coffee machine, no ice machine, unheated pools, etc. When we poked around a bit more, all kinds of details missed - fading window panes, a loose toilet flusher, an outdated and out of place shower, and just generally not up to the standard of “boutique” hotel. The kicker? Nobody even came to clean our room the next day. Just really really really disappointing all around. I’ll end on a positive, there are two employees that should be called out as exceptional — Estrella for her actual warm welcome and attentiveness and Valeria for even seeing us on the street and greeting us with the the kind of warmth and hospitality that I have learned to love about Mexican hospitality culture!

Beautiful boutique hotel with a gorgeous view from the roof top. Our room was spotless and charming! We were even able to check in a few hours early. The real highlight was the afternoon we spent at the beach club. The only thing I would note is our room did not have a bathroom door and was all open concept so may not be the ideal situation for those with a shy bladder!

Nice room. Old style high ceilings, nice furniture. What you would expect from a nice boutique hotel. Staff very helpful with impossible tv. Not much knowledge of surrounding sites/activities. “Oh that do it yourself world”. Grrr. Parking worked out close to hotel. Noisy traffic, big trucks with Jake breaks all day, most of the night. Room a little musty due to small openings on large windows. Good breakfast and coffee, but steep price. Good location for walkable town. Awesome art throughout hotel.

Smaller than expected room for the price point. Rooftop bar food was pricey. Water pressure issues with sink no draining and low toilet flow. Bed was ver comfortable, overhead shower was great, staff was excellent and were very responsive to our industries and helped us with transportation needs. View from rooftop is beautiful.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff could not be any more attentive and helpful! They are the best! The rooms are charming and spacious with every detail thought of. While the rooms have air conditioning, the lobby and hallways do not, but that’s a minor detail. I’m not sure why it’s called a beach club because it’s in the middle of town, nowhere near the beach. The food is delicious too. I highly recommend the Guaycura and will definitely stay here again.

overall, very nice stay. Beautiful view at the rooftop at Sunset. The location was great. It was close to everything. It was a little noisy in the evening because of us being at a corner room facing the street. We really enjoyed the beautiful restaurant called El Mirador and a day at the Faro Beach club. We would stay there again!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The hotel location is great for exploring magical Todos Santos. Staff was wonderful, especially Fabiola and Terri. Breakfast at The Jardin was a great way to start the day. We will definitely be back!

A toilet that didn’t properly flush, one trash can for the entire room, ONE robe for a 2 double bed room, a half carafe of water (no cups), no coffee machine, no ice machine, unheated pools, etc. When we poked around a bit more, all kinds of details missed - fading window panes, a loose toilet flusher, an outdated and out of place shower, and just generally not up to the standard of “boutique” hotel. The kicker? Nobody even came to clean our room the next day. Just really really really disappointing all around. I’ll end on a positive, there are two employees that should be called out as exceptional — Estrella for her actual warm welcome and attentiveness and Valeria for even seeing us on the street and greeting us with the the kind of warmth and hospitality that I have learned to love about Mexican hospitality culture!
I really didn’t want to write this review since the hotel honored my cancellation of the remaining 3 nights. Nevertheless, I feel I owe it to the travel community to share my experience. First and foremost, we were greeted by a dead cockroach on our balcony. We told the staff and while they cleaned it, nary an apology for quite frankly a grotesque find. You don’t expect that at this price point — $400 !!! We immediately initiated a cancellation request and the front desk seemed to be perturbed by it. Like WE were causing THEM an inconvenience. While we got that request, we still had to stay two nights. What else did we have in store for us? The hotel is beautiful and the staff could not be any more attentive and helpful! They are the best! The rooms are charming and spacious with every detail thought of. While the rooms have air conditioning, the lobby and hallways do not, but that’s a minor detail. I’m not sure why it’s called a beach club because it’s in the middle of town, nowhere near the beach. The food is delicious too. I highly recommend the Guaycura and will definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent 5-day stay at Guaycura. The staff were professional and accomodating. The hotel was very quiet despite being centrally located in Todos. Our favorite feature was the rooftop pool and Sky Bar where we spent plenty of time relaxing after exploring everything Todos has to offer. Guaycura Boutique Hotel was near perfect and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Todos Santos. We looked at beach hotels and downtown hotels in BCS before finding Guaycura which is the best of both worlds. The hotel is downtown in Todos Santos, walkable to dozens of shops, restaurants etc. and with a rooftop pool. Included with your stay are beach club privileges at El Faro Beach Club, just a short drive away and a beautiful location with a large pool right on the beach. Free to use unless you want to reserve a bed/chairs actually on the beach. There are plenty of loungers by the pool so this isn't necessary. I'd like to especially call out the staff - both at the hotel and the beach club. All were unfailingly helpful, polite and friendly, Estrella in particular who answered a number of our questions before we booked Street parking is available around the hotel. Obviously, at times it was busier than others, usually I was able to park within 100 feet of the hotel entrance and only 2 or 3 times I had to park a block and a half away. The beach club at the end of a long sandy road has plenty of parking. It would be unreasonable to choose a downtown hotel and not expect to hear noise from the street. Depending on your room, you may hear street noise through mid-evening. This mainly meant we couldn't sleep with the windows open. With windows closed and a/c on, we were not disturbed but those extra-sensitive to noise should consider themselves warned.

overall, very nice stay. Beautiful view at the rooftop at Sunset. The location was great. It was close to everything. It was a little noisy in the evening because of us being at a corner room facing the street. We really enjoyed the beautiful restaurant called El Mirador and a day at the Faro Beach club. We would stay there again!

Great location, close to many great restaurants. Very walkable. Very nice staff. No parking which if you have a car is a drag. The beach club is just a short drive and is beautiful and worth visiting. Unfortunately when we were there a drunk Mexican guy accosted us and tried to pick a fight with me. I think the club ought to monitor how much alcohol they serve people and screen the people visiting their private club a bit better. Other than that we enjoyed the beach

What an unexpected pleasure staying at this hotel was!!! It was hot and dusty and we walked into the hotel and it was like a cool oasis inside. Our room was immaculate, beautifully decorated and cool! Someone was thoughtful enough to turn on the A/C before our arrival. The roof top pool and restaurant were a lovely surprise! With outstanding views of the Pacific ocean in the distance. Food in the restaurant was excellent. The servers and staff were very attentive to my husbands food allergies. Another delight was the beautiful breakfast room. Plants and fans, excellent service and food. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at Guaycura for 2 nights. It was a delightful way to break up our trip between the airport and La Paz. The room was lovely. Very well appointed with a comfortable bed and silky Egyptian Cotton sheets. Loved the spacious bathroom with a great shower and huge copper tub. The rooftop dining room and pool were excellent, As was the beach club & spa, which was very comfortable, with excellent food, beautiful pool and great stretch of beach to walk along and marvel at the Pacific Ocean. It was a 10/10 experience!

Nice room. Old style high ceilings, nice furniture. What you would expect from a nice boutique hotel. Staff very helpful with impossible tv. Not much knowledge of surrounding sites/activities. “Oh that do it yourself world”. Grrr. Parking worked out close to hotel. Noisy traffic, big trucks with Jake breaks all day, most of the night. Room a little musty due to small openings on large windows. Good breakfast and coffee, but steep price. Good location for walkable town. Awesome art throughout hotel.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The hotel location is great for exploring magical Todos Santos. Staff was wonderful, especially Fabiola and Terri. Breakfast at The Jardin was a great way to start the day. We will definitely be back!
