Stayed 7 nights

We stayed at Royal Antibes for a week in sunny September. Here’s a few tips for those who have booked/looking to book: - There is a security deposit of 50€ per night which you pay upon arrival (alongside the full room payment if you have not pre paid), just make sure you include that in the budget for your holiday. - If your flight arrives early pre check in/ late after check out there is a changing room & shower facility you can use that is very lovely and helpful. - The spa/sauna/hot tub is available for 50mins per day upon availability. Just email the spa team in advance to secure a spot. - The beach club is an extra expense but we would say it is worth the money. If it’s a hot day it’s a great vibe. Staff are lovely too. - If the sea is swelling more than usual, note that the swimming area gathers a lot of debris/rubbish. You’ll have a nicer swimming experience if you go on a day when the sea is calm. - Another thing to note on the beach club is that they only hold your bed until 1pm (if you show up afterwards there is a chance they will have reallocated your bed) so, if you’re planning on coming after 1pm, make sure you pop down and let them know. - Although rooms are very clean, they are probably more similar to 3 star hotels we’ve stayed in instead of a 4 star. Saying that, prices in this area are expensive regardless and the proximity and walk into the old town is perfect. All in all we had a really pleasant experience would definitely stay here again.

A lovely hotel. perfect for those wanting a nice room/apartment with friendly staff when needed. We booked beds on the sand prior to arriving and seemed cheaper than what was on the boards when we got to the beach. Ideal location for exploring, walking to the old town and a little further for the train station. The old town is buzzing on an evening and a nice place to sit and chill in the quieter streets.

First, this is a hotel, no pool and you need to walk to the beach( cross the street, pay for beach chairs,…in the end we gave up). The breakfast is good and necessary, my daughter had an apartment and it was better, but my classic room was so small and the carpet in the floor hmmm, some renovations will be great! The location is great, walkable so this was a plus! I was forced to cancel my next two bookings, six days it was enough! We need it to ask for toilet paper and two days we didn’t have hand soup, so I don’t understand what management they have, is this part of a plan or just luck of professionalism? I will definitely not go back to this place and also I am thinking not to use Hotels.com app for their dishonesty, when trying to cancel should be a reminder that the booking is non- refundable and more help / choices if the hotel didn’t match their description! Over all very disappointed!:-(((

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location is excellent, with everything conveniently nearby, and the rooms were spotless and well maintained. The only downside was the beach setup. Sunbeds were not included and had to be booked well in advance, which was a bit disappointing if you wanted a spontaneous beach day. Overall, a great hotel with fantastic service,

Location is absolutely great and same goes for the beach club. Could not have wished for better. Friendly and nice staff at the restaurant/ beach. However, the reception and hotel room have seen better days. There was a very unpleasant smell in our bathroom that we notified the hotel staff on. The issue was ”fixed” for about 20 minutes. No coffee machine in the hotel room and poorly functioning fridge.
