Stayed 2 nights

This was a great set up for two couples. One huge bedroom with a queen bed and bathroom. It was especially nice to have two rooms for this bathroom. By this I mean there was a room with a toilet and a nice shower behind a door and a room with a table and sink and vanity behind a door. The other bedroom was smaller with a queen bed and the access to the bathroom required going through the living room. Each couple just used their respective bathroom. It was nice sized as well. There were individual window units in each bedroom and in the living room. They were a little loud but it was good white noise for sleeping. We never heard any noise from another room. There are things to buy for breakfast and a coffee pot available but I’m not sure if there’s a free breakfast. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace. The speakeasy in the basement had young adults playing pool when we went about 4pm. Although there was liquor behind the bar, there wasn’t a bartender. We didn’t really know what the protocol was so we didn’t stick around. This property was nice and very clean and convenient. It had a good vibe and we all enjoyed our stay.

Room was awesome. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. No one there so we had to call and we got a response with our room number and code for door. Turns out you need a code for building in addition. Called back and got that. Then the code to our room wasn't working and had to be reset. Other than the code problems we had we would highly recommend this place.

The room was like a studio apartment. Very clean and comfortable. I was expecting a couch for an additional sleeping spot, but the room only had a queen size bed. The bathroom was small but updated and clean. The thermostat in the room was not adjustable. The room was 66°, so we had to use the provided space heater to heat up the room. The freezer in the mini-fridge needed to be defrosted.

I loved my room so beautiful and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable and I enjoyed having a ceiling fan in the room. The bathroom was beautiful with a walk in. Shower. I loved the fact that you can't hear the other guest or neighbors. So I slept like a baby. The whole building is absolutely gorgeous, you can see all the history in the building even with the modern updates it still has so much beautiful charm. We explored the hotel and said we're definitely coming back so we can enjoy the speak easy and play some games in there and the roof top terrace we checked out right before we left and definitely sad we missed not going up and having our coffee up there that morning. I've been planning our next trip just so I can come back to the Phillips hotel. Thank y'all for such a wonderful and stress free experience

It’s a nice room. The bed could be upgraded. The host was helpful.
