Great location - walked to Capitola Beach one day and Pleasure Point the next. Nice breakfast with hot food and waffles and more with option to sit inside or out on patio. Hot tub and pool that were perfect temperatures. Nice sized room with sitting room/small living room with tv. Everything in great condition. Sold out and ran out of parking but let us park one car in circle drive right out front which is typically just parking for check in.

Beautiful getaway trip with the family.Kids went swimming at night, nice size pool and hot tub. The room accommodated our family of 5 perfectly. Breakfast buffet was great, locals were friendly.We explored Capitola the first night then Santa Cruz the next day. This was the perfect area to unwind feom the daily stress of life and renew yourself with a new perspective.

The outside of the hotel is beautiful, the lobby was nice, the room was tight and dark, the bathroom was dark. The front desk staff were nice, the housekeeping staff were happy, smiling and very nice and the staff in the breakfast room were also very happy, smiling and nice. Loved that we could charge our car in the garage. Did not like the inconvenient laundry room hours.

The carpet didn't seem to have been vacuumed in some spots. We found stuff on the floor. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay! We want especially to compliment the front desk staff for their attentiveness and responsiveness. Kim was very open to helping us change rooms and room rates.

This property is clean & cute. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel had a nice gym, pool, & sitting areas. It would have been nice if there were food & drink options available to stay in. We would have liked to have enjoyed a cocktail/meal & relaxed at the property more if this was available. The breakfast staff was so hard working, kind, friendly, and the food was delicious. This was a huge benefit to staying here.

The only thing we didn’t like, was the foot traffic above us. We were on the 2nd floor. It sounded like a pack of elephants on the 3rd floor. Lots of stomping. But I think they were actually just walking. It was just loud.

Great property. Gated/secure underground parking. A little hard to check in because of limited space at entrance but one will manage. Staff were great. Bed comfortable, spacious room with couch, 2nd TV & balcony area. Would definitely stay here again. No complaints. Great job to the staff & Fairfield Inn at this location.

The room was great except for a faulty toilet part that was leaking on our second day. The room was spacious. I loved that there was a microwave and mini fridge. We were on the 1st floor, which wasn’t great. The check in experience was fast and efficient. The staff was friendly. The parking was free! The free breakfast was pretty good. And the location of this Fairfield Inn was pretty central to all the things I wanted to do in the area. Will definitely stay here again.

I liked the cleanliness of this hotel, but awful customer service. On arrival, we found a line of people all stressed out unable to check in. Not one employee was there to assist. Some people left to go find another hotel. One employee showed up after 1 hour of waiting. He was finally able to check us in.

When I checked in, the agent at the front desk did not explain that we have to ASK for housekeeping, that the default is NO housekeeping. I was very disappointed not to have my room tidied or my bed made. Not much I could do as it was only a 2 night stay. However, the room was very nice and the bed and pillows were comfy.

Staff was rude and not at all accommodating. I was reminded several times that because I booked through a third party they could not help me. The pull out sofa that I thought we were getting turned out to be a pull out chair and it was not even as big as a twin bed. The king suite was stated to accommodate 4 guests. There is no way. When I explained the situation to the front desk they told me there was a room available with two queen beds but because I booked through hotels. Com they refused to switch our room and my daughter ended up sleeping on the floor. I will never stay at this property again.

We happen to arrive before check in time and the receptionist offer to keep our bags behind the desk and was able to see a room would be ready within an hour so we could unload our car before touring the town. Blown away by all the staff friendliness

We will stay here again. 15 min walk to the beach, 15-18 min walk to Capitola Village. Rooms are spacious and clean, complimentary breakfast offers good combination of cold/hot food. Waffles were the best! Property is well kept and staff was helpful. Hotel offers parking so you do not have to deal with the limited parking at the beach or in the village. Shadowbrook restaurant offers complimentary pick up from this location.

I loved the layout of the hotel and the decoration. It was spacious inside, even though it is not a large hotel. The Breakfast room was huge and the variety of choices excellent - scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, bagels, and waffles with the usual choice of coffee or tea. The atmosphere was calming and gracious and the staff was always kind and helpful. I want to go back.
