During check-in, the person at the front desk appeared under the influence of something. He repeated the instructions for breakfast, each with a different time frame. The carpet in the room was sticky and disgusting. The TV needed an update so it was not usable and the remote was sticky.

Place was overall fine. But upon entering the room, there was a powerful, obnoxious odor. There was some kind of "scent" device running, but it seemed to do nothing more than make a lot of noise. I unplugged it. I was only staying the one night, and the smell did not fill the room or seem to be mold related, so I didn't bother to complain.

The shower was not cleaned well. The desk chair was broken. Everything else was as expected.

The hotel could use some much needed maintenance on the rooms as there were holes in the bathroom doors, the holder for the hair dryer kept falling off the wall of (which it could have very easily have fallen into the sink) The walls in the room needed a fresh coat of paint as they were wore down to the drywall behind the Chair by the window, but the bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean and for the most part, it was quiet other than on Saturday night... someone decided to start knocking on people's doors... The front desk was exceedingly polite and helpful on my check-in.
