The hotel’s position was excellent on the beach and the staff were lovely. The downsides were the terrible mattresses in the rooms and the small of mould. Food was good. The gym, shared with Jetwing Beach, was out of the ark or at least the 1980s.

Great option for outside Colombo. We arrived on a late night flight, and only about 30min drive from the airport. The property is positioned well with a variety of restaurants and shops around. The pools were great, long enough to do a few morning laps. The buffet breakfast had a wide range of options, and nice looking out over the beach.

Room was great, next to the pool, close to the beach. Breakfast was extensive with lots of veg/vegan options. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There were lots of dining and shopping options and the area is walkable. I'd stay here again.

La piscine est grande et agréable mais pleine de feuilles et de fleurs qui tombe des arbres à côté. L’hôtel est agréable mais assez bruyant, on entend une fête à proximité jusque tard dans la nuit.

The hotel is well located right on the beach with an amazing spacious pool. Restaurant had a wide selection of local and international food to suite most. Staff always smiling and helpful with most having very good English. We were made to feel extremely welcome during our nine day staff. The hotel was safe and secure and we used it as a base to travel the country. Only a few things really need tweaking. My wife used the Spa and wasn’t that impressed. The staff tried hard but wasn’t really skilled enough for the Spa treatments on offer. Apart from the pool there’s nothing much for children so maybe set up something that kids can enjoy ( face painting, henna, some form of craft workshop). Overall myself and my family would recommend this hotel, it’s close to the airport (30 min drive) and very comfortable and reasonably priced for families

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Jetwing Blue. On arrival, we were greeted very nicely and had our bags sent to our room. The rooms are large and quiet. The blinds on the windows dont do much, so we used eye masks. The breakfast buffet is very comprehensive. We were there when it was busy, so it was a bit of a hassle to get an omlette. The wait staff were a bit slow for a cup of tea and were not as friendly as other staff members. They were busy though, maybe that is why. The pool is excellent and pretty big.

Our room the safe was replaced as it was not working, the floor in the room needed cleaning, the drawers knob came off. The other room the front light was not working. Although issues were attended too.

The rooms were very spacious, the grounds were lovely. Some of the fixtures and fittings were a little tired (slightly damaged shower head, the bath was a little grubby / stained. Nothing bad, just repeated usage). The area is replete with restaurants, bars, mini marts and souvenir shops. The beach biews are awesome.

Check-in was really slow, one room not ready. The rooms smelt of mould/damp my husband could not sleep all night, walls and doors very hollow could hear everything so I couldn't sleep. Overall experience very bad and thank god it was only for a night!!!!

Oplevelsen på Jetwing Blue var ikke god, da hverken hygiejne, mad eller service var i top. Værelset samt hotellet var ikke særlig hyggeligt. Billederne fra hotellet er meget misvisende. Værelset lugtede af fugt og mug og udsugningen virkede ikke på badeværelset, så hele værelset blev fugtigt efter et bad. Mange af medarbejderne var heller ikke særlig venlige eller imødekommende dog var der god service i receptionen.

Das ist niemals ein 5 Sterne-Hotel. Das Hotel ist mehr als in die Jahre gekommen. Uralte Holzfenster und Türen, im Bad starker Schimmelbefall und nicht funktionierende Rollos. Das Personal war jedoch super freundlich und hilfsbereit, was jedoch leider nicht über das total veraltete Hotel hinwegtäuschend konnte.

想像以上に素晴らしく、1泊しかしなかったのがとてももったいなかったです！プールに面した1階のお部屋でしたが、とても便利でよかったです。好みが分かれるところだと思うので、部屋のロケーションは慎重に選んだ方がいいと思います。(上階は長めが良く静か、1階は移動に便利、など)\u3000朝食はメニューが豊富で嬉しくなります。エッグホッパーはぜひ！

The catamaran rides are fun and the Dutch canal boat tour is much worthwhile. A slight disappointment was quality of the food, in both hotels and restaurants in Negombo. Transportation, however, works well and we didn't get ripped off. A visit to Club Ceylon for dinner is worthwhile too but avoid Black Coral in Jetwing Beach.

I prefer a smaller hotel with personal attention and details. The young man at the reception was arrogant and not really helpful! I don’t know his name! The reason I chose to stay at this hotel is simply because my tour starts from here. I would not have chosen this place for myself and I will not come back to stay here in the future.

The staff really shine at this establishment. I felt welcomed upon arrival and helped with scheduling my check-out/airport transportation. The beach area is just stunning and I will definitely return to take advantage of the pools and seating areas.

The catamaran rides are fun and the Dutch canal boat tour is much worthwhile. A slight disappointment was quality of the food, in both hotels and restaurants in Negombo. Transportation, however, works well and we didn't get ripped off. A visit to Club Ceylon for dinner is worthwhile too but avoid Black Coral in Jetwing Beach.

Check-in was really slow, one room not ready. The rooms smelt of mould/damp my husband could not sleep all night, walls and doors very hollow could hear everything so I couldn't sleep. Overall experience very bad and thank god it was only for a night!!!!

Room was great, next to the pool, close to the beach. Breakfast was extensive with lots of veg/vegan options. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There were lots of dining and shopping options and the area is walkable. I'd stay here again.

Booked a triple room. They had to put in the extra bed. Tried to charge us for it but we insisted we had already paid for it. They finally let us have it for no extra cost. Facilities good. The hotel’s position was excellent on the beach and the staff were lovely. The downsides were the terrible mattresses in the rooms and the small of mould. Food was good. The gym, shared with Jetwing Beach, was out of the ark or at least the 1980s.

Great option for outside Colombo. We arrived on a late night flight, and only about 30min drive from the airport. The property is positioned well with a variety of restaurants and shops around. The pools were great, long enough to do a few morning laps. The buffet breakfast had a wide range of options, and nice looking out over the beach.

Beautifully designed hotel with lovely spacious rooms and communal areas with stunning sea views. The property is a little tired but this is offset by the design. Rooms are cool with good a/c and bathrooms are well appointed. There is a lot to do within walking distance of the hotel - cool cafes, good bars and restaurants as well as plenty of tuktuks on standby to visit the town if you want to explore. Conveniently located for airport and Colombo and the hotel drivers we hired for airport drop and Colombo city tour were good. Overall had a really good experience during our 4 days stay and would definitely recommend to others and hopefully we will visit again someday.

It's a a pleasant enough hotel but charges higher than necessary. My stay was comfortable, but nothing overly grand -- so it shouldn't have a 5str rating . One thing about the beach access -- it's about a 5 minute walk from the hotel lounge. And I found Negombo beach water to be somewhat polluted which hikkaduwa was not.

Only stayed 1 night but the beach side location was lovely and the transfer to the airport was fast & cheap. Every other hotel rips you off on taxi services so this was a pleasant surprise. Definitely good value for money.

it was reasonable. The photo showed to in real is different. Bit old looking room . The bathroom definitely need bit more uodate. Feel loke going to old building . The blinds in the bath room need upgrade. Furniture could have been arranged bit more practical . Lot of space wasted. View is amazing and rekaxing . Staff are extremely helpful and professional. The hotel is well located right on the beach with an amazing spacious pool. Restaurant had a wide selection of local and international food to suite most. Staff always smiling and helpful with most having very good English. We were made to feel extremely welcome during our nine day staff. The hotel was safe and secure and we used it as a base to travel the country. Only a few things really need tweaking. My wife used the Spa and wasn’t that impressed. The staff tried hard but wasn’t really skilled enough for the Spa treatments on offer. Apart from the pool there’s nothing much for children so maybe set up something that kids can enjoy ( face painting, henna, some form of craft workshop). Overall myself and my family would recommend this hotel, it’s close to the airport (30 min drive) and very comfortable and reasonably priced for families

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Jetwing Blue. On arrival, we were greeted very nicely and had our bags sent to our room. The rooms are large and quiet. The blinds on the windows dont do much, so we used eye masks. The breakfast buffet is very comprehensive. We were there when it was busy, so it was a bit of a hassle to get an omlette. The wait staff were a bit slow for a cup of tea and were not as friendly as other staff members. They were busy though, maybe that is why. The pool is excellent and pretty big.
