Savannah House Hotel

The property is lovely and staff is friendly. Only downside is parking is on a hill. If you have mobility challenges I’m not sure if you could park. I was able to drop my mobility challenged person off at front door and then go park.

Great stay our room was comfortable and the free breakfast was great, however parking was a challenge because of how many were staying there. They also ran out of the free cobbler and ice cream one night, overall great stay though.

Super friendly staff, clean room, clean pool, have stayed before and will stay again!

This was our 3rd stay at Savannah House. The beds are comfortable, the food was great (the night-time cookies and cobbler) are yummy and the service is friendly. The pool was nice too! Great location close to everything. There are less expensive places to stay in Branson--but overall the price is fair .

Property was clean and comfortable. breakfast bar was really good! The evening dessert bar was nice as well! The only downside to this property was the parking lot is on a steep hill. Definitely want to use your emergency brake so. Your car doesn’t roll down the hill!

Decent hotel with breakfast and snacks in the evenings. Beds were not very comfortable and small. Our first room was humid and wet feeling. The second room was better. The health inspector shut down the pool after our first night so we were unable to use it.

Dessert bar every night was unexpected but wonderful! Elevators are small but we managed. Overall a nice, friendly place. It is a little dated decor but seemed clean

The main pool displayed in their advertisements was closed the 3 nights we were there. The 2nd pool was in the far back of the 2nd, unattached building. It was in the middle of a parking lot and was filthy. You could feel slimey bottom of the pool. My son had to get the skimmer and use it to clean the bugs out of the pool. We stayed here almost exactly 1 year ago and the main pool was closed then, too. If we had know the pool was going to be out of service, we wouldve stayed somewhere else. Breakfast is nice, rooms pretty comfortable

This hotel smells bad in the hallways and rooms. This is an old hotel with a facelift. Bed slept ok and was clean. Bathroom had hair in the sink and shower. Bathroom was VERY SMALL! Will not stay again.

The overall stay was just ok. Walls were a little thin. Breakfast was good. However when we got home we realized one of the beds had bed bugs. Two people had bites all over them. Called a few days later to let them know and he asked if I had already called because he said someone was up there now cleaning the room. So the people who stayed after us must have reported it as well. I should have reported it quicker so they wouldn’t have to go through same thing. No offer of refund, just a thank you for reporting it. Hopefully they were really taking care of it.

I took a long time to choose a hotel for a family trip and picked Savannah House from all the great reviews. The lady at the front desk was friendly and check-in was easy. As we walked down the hall to our room, both my children asked why it smelled so bad and what the smell was. I told them it smelled like wet dog. Got to our room and it was ok but smelled bad. Sat down and turned the tv on, one of my daughters went to the bathroom and said there was mold on the ceiling. I didn't think too much of it - I don't expect perfection from a hotel room - but it wasn't long before I had a headache, one daughter was nauseous, and the other had a headache as well. Decided I should check out this mold situation. It was all over the bathroom ceiling. Because of how we felt, I went to the front desk to ask for another room. On my way I noticed a dehumidifier plugged in and running. Turns out they had serious water damage the week before from the sprinkler system going off and that's why it smelled bad and was moldy. They offered another room but since it was the entire building I said I was concerned for our health. They have a second building that was not affected and thankfully offered a room there, which I accepted. The room there was fine. I think water and mold are serious issues and they should have told people about it - that was hundreds of people sleeping in what could be an unsafe, at least unhealthy, environment.

Clean, staff is wonderful, great breakfast and snacks at night included in price.

I found roaches in the bathroom of my suite.

Bathroom walls were dirty, and so was the mirror. Not horrible but should be cleaned. Over all we always enjoy staying here.

The room smelled nice. But the bathroom was disgusting. It had mold on the shower and the sink leaked. We also had a light in our room that didn’t work. It wasn’t the worst that I’ve ever stayed it but it’s definitely not one I’ll go back to.

It is a nice to place to stay but this time the bathroom was not clean.

When I got to my room the first thing I needed to do was go to the bathroom. When I opened the toilet lid it was full of urine and the smell nearly made me lose my dinner. I requested another room but the initial experience and smell ruined my entire stay. I never received a call or follow up from management.

Entire hotel, inside and outside were immaculately clean. Sheets and towels were sparkling white and smelled very clean. There were no odors of any kind. Breakfast was nice. Evening cobbler, cookies and ice cream was very good.

Need to remodel bathrooms old tubs, no microwave, small refrigerator in very small closet. It was nice Iam just use to being in a larger room, no larger choice.

We discovered our AC was not working properly when we got back to our room at 10:30pm after a show. I called the front desk and was told to turn it way down, and to call back before 11 if that didnt help. Well….it was putting out a little cooler air but the blower would not go on high. We did not want to change rooms at 11:00 at night- so we put up with it. It was 3:30 am before the room got cool enough to sleep. Other than that- all was good.

Average hotel. Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. No microwaves in rooms. Decor/ furnishings outdated. Comfortable bed and linens.

We just like to stay there. We were by the pop and ice machine and it was noisy.

Beds were comfortable and rooms are spacious.

I was content. The rooms were clean. The mattress on the king bed was pretty much wore out and needs replaced. These are not easy fixes. Thank you for the stay. I enjoyed it.

Room was a little on the small side. Beds were comfortable, pillows were good but very fluffy, my husband likes a flatter pillow. Hotel call was a little worn, but it was a fine stay for its purpose. They did offer dessert at night which was different!

I reserved room based on pictures on web site. Saw a nice, airy room with lots of windows. Our room was a tomb. No windows.

We have enjoyed staying at Savannah House for many years - we love the breakfast buffet, evening desserts, comfortable beds and pillows, overall decor. The staff has always been very friendly and accommodating. However, our recent stay was not one of our best. We were assigned a room that was already occupied by someone else -(which we found out when we used our key card to enter and found someone else’s luggage and belongings in the room). After the girl at the desk also opened that room and verified it was indeed already occupied, we were then assigned a different room, but I found the fact that could even happen alarming. The toilet lid in our new room was broken and poorly repaired, we found it difficult to turn on the tv (printed instructions would have been nice), and there was black mold above the shower wall. The lobby and food areas seemed understaffed, with one person covering the desk and preparing desserts at the same time. We hope improvements can be made, because we would love to continue to stay at Savannah House but found ourselves weighing other options after this visit.

We love the quiet but friendly atmosphere. Great pillows. Always helpful and friendly staff.

Staff was extremely friendly. Even the cleaning staff always had a smile and pleasant to talk to when running into them. This will be our hotel of choice when coming to Branson in the future

We stayed here due to the high reviews. When we arrived there was a sign saying they’d be back soon. After 20 minutes we started calling and someone answered the phone and then came up. It didn’t set a good first impression. Everyone else we encountered was very nice and personable. Great service after that point. The hotel is very dated. It was very humid throughout the hotel and smelled musty. The rooms had an air conditioning unit by the window. The room wasn’t able to get cold until the evening. The one big positive was the pillows, they were more comfortable than a Marriot. Average noise levels. In the evening, the pie served with icecream was a bonus. Overall, it is a nice place to stay but we will not be returning.

The hotel was excellent and the staff were friendly and super helpful. The breakfast was hot and actually very good. Stay away from the biscuits though… you might crack a tooth. 😂 Sorry! To the hotel … it was the only negative. They had a desert buffet every night! I have never seen a dessert spread at any other hotel. Cookies or cobbler and ice cream. Ice cream was little watery though. But hey, I wasn’t complaining the cookies were warm and the cobbler was hot. 😋 Yummy! They had staff to clean the rooms everyday who were very nice. Rooms were clean, beds were okay, not the best but most definitely not the worst. Pillows were good. It was a quiet hotel. That’s a plus in my book. 👍 There were lots of parking spots close to the main entrance. The elevators were fast and well maintained. It was in a great location! Not in the middle of everything but close enough to be only minutes away. I will definitely be staying here when we come back to Branson. This will be my new first choice! I give them a 10/10 and for me that is saying a lot. I highly recommend them for overall quality. Top notch 👌

Very impressed with everyone at the front desk.

We have stayed here several times and this time was a little different in that I prepaid for two nights and then when we checked in the service desk requested a credit card to hold 100.00 security deposit for incidentals which I do not remember in the past. The place is nice we are coming back next month for two nights. The food and service was excellent.

Friendly and helpful staff. While an older property, it is well maintained. Great location to Sight and Sound Theatre and restaurants while staying a bit out of the fray! Love the evening dessert reception (yummy cobbler) and the encouragement basket at the breakfast bar. Would stay here again!

Friendly staff, comfortable beds, clean room. Served dessert to guests, a bonus. Negatives… breakfast not great and too far to downtown and Old Route 76.

Close to Site and Sounds Theater. Clean and comfortable

Very convenient area for where we needed to be. Less traffic and congestion in this area. Easy drive to the main drag.

Fair price and handy to the strip not on the strip!

It's very close to Sight and Sound Theatre, but off the main drag--much less stressful driving in and out.

It’s clean, quiet and comfy! Staff was very friendly. It was close enough to everything without being in the busy part of town.

Great location and views

We stay here when we attend Praisefest at The Mansion Theater. It’s within walking distance. Clean, employees are always friendly, beds are comfortable, breakfast is good and filling and they serve cobbler and ice cream in the evenings! I highly recommend it!

Rates can vary a lot depending on what is going on in Branson, but is always clean, and has a good breakfast and evening dessert bar.

Great Breakfast!

Breakfast was yummy. Eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage plus variety of yogurts, mixed fruit bowl, Great selection of fruit juices. Coffee, of course!

Great breakfast and manager’s reception every evening. Staff was very friendly and everything was well kept.

We stayed in the back building (of 2) and it was very nice and was easy to get into and out of. The first night they had cobbler and ice cream, which was really good. We were disappointed that they didn't do that the second night. Also, no breakfast the second morning.
