Turn down service as expected. To compete with a Four Season property, the rooms needs to be updated. The SPA was amazing. Great masseuses! top notch SPA facility. Indoor pool with amazing views of the city of Porto and Douro river. I would stay again at The Yeatman. I am hoping though the mattresses are updated at the very least. The Staff made up for the lacks described above.

This is a great hotel and the staff are very friendly and the service excellent. The one thing that made this not 5 star is that they allow guests to smoke in communal areas including the outside dining/bar areas and the pool. For non-smokers it is not pleasant having wafts of smoke whilst eating, drinking or just relaxing. We haven’t been to a hotel that allows smoking on the premises for years and found this very surprising in this day and age.

Staying at The Yeatman is like gaining access to a secret club; you’ll feel like royalty. The facilities are fabulous, the staff is attentive and friendly, and the view is unfeasibly lovely, especially from the infinity pool. Oh, and the best restaurant in Porto is right there on site.

Amazing view looking across the river to Porto. Very comfortable rooms. Walking distance to Taylor's port lodge. Outdoor pool was a little chilly but indoor pool was very warm. Food and drinks were very good. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Parking was 20 euro's per night.

One of the most beautiful and amazing hotels I ever stayed in. The staff go out of there way to make you feel welcome and will help you with anything you need. Breathtaking views, delicious cocktails, fantastic spa, very spacious and clean room (tho could have more lighting). Hotel has its own wine cellars which you pass going to your room. Hotel is on the other side of the river so if you don’t feel like getting your steps in (it’s a lot of steps) you can Uber for about 5 euros. Hotel is also steps from World of Wine (7 immersive experiences with wine tastings included) and Taylor’s Port Wine. Queveo is right next door as well for a port tasting (10 euros).

This is an absolutely wonderful property. It could be a destination in itself! The grounds and views are beautiful! The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The staff is spectacular. Both Ruy (Reception) and Ana (Orangery) went above and beyond in assisting us. Everything was top notch!

You can't beat the location and the views. Absolutely breath taking. Staff friendly as usual in Portugal. Porter service excellent. (Important because it's quite a walk and 2 different lifts if you are in the side wing building. Breakfast visually super but we've had better quality in a high-end location in Lisbon (that had free parking in center town by the way and was also a bit more convenient with the rates). All in all satisfied with our stay, would use this facility again when in Porto.

Na verdade, toda a estrutura do hotel foi bem pensada e planejada nos mínimos detalhes tanto na decoração e no conforto dos hóspedes. O restaurante é maravilhoso e o café da manhã é bem montado com muitas opções de comidas. Esse hotel é do mesmo grupo do WOW e fica bem próximo do complexo de museus e atrações. Breakfast buffet is fantastic, has caviar, eggs any way you want, lots of selections, but is 30 Euros per person. Everything you can need is available, for a price.
