The baths (onsen) at this hotel were outstanding. There was a huge variety, including waterslides. Breakfast was good, as well. We were able to park our car here and then walk over to the "hells" (jigoku). We would gladly stay here again.

This was a wonderful visit and stay for my family! The onsen was fantastic and my kids really enjoyed the onsen water slide! I had never seen such a thing before! The dinner was incredible and included all you can eat crab legs. Breakfast was also delicious. Walking distance to hell valley. My only, and very minor, complaint is that the dinner buffet charged for soft drinks, which seemed a little kechi.

It was a big hotel and there were large groups, but the hotels managed well. The car park was automatic and there was staff guiding you. The buffet was busy but food was sufficient. The quality was better than expected and we even had crab legs included. I didn't expect as I saw somewhere mentioned it was withdrawed. The room was spacious. The onsen was exceptional with plenty of varieties.

The hotel is nice and spacious. Great onsen and the food provided for half board is very decent. However, the bed was not comfortable. We slept poorly the 2 nights we were there. This is the only hotel we ever encountered who charges for ice.

Excellent transport access! Bed is comfortable, the hot spring is nice, the slide is very family friendly except overall the slide and rooms are a bit dated. The slide needs to be repaint as some of the paint are scrapping off. Staffs are very nice. The Yukata is cute! Very kids friendly. The buffet food are all deep fried. They have a tendency to put foreigner at one spot and it is very far away from the buffet table. Also the dinner buffet does not include drinks. Only provided water, tea, and coffee for free. Soft drinks and alcohol requires to pay.

we had 1 night stay for Onsen in Noboribetsu. the main reason to choose this hotel is they provide with shuttle service from Sapporo, which is very convenient. The hotel is old fashioned and needs some renovation. The breakfast is sub par regarding the quality and the types compared to other hotels I had in this trip.

I stairs at the Japanese style room. I have been japan many times and this is the most dirty bathroom I seen. Before I check out I used my old toothbrush and try to clean the sink. I am curious to see if the sting is removable or not. Sure enough those dirt came off. If you want a clean room from this hotel you need to spend the money. It seems like they only spent time and effort to maintain the most expensive rooms. My friends who traveles with me spend the money and stay in a room with private Osen and their room is clean. The price difference between our rooms were 3 times the amount. This hotel is showing its age. The public Osen is clean. I only have complain towards the cleanliness of the room. The meals are good. All I can say is go to the public bath to take your bath and don't use the washroom if you stay in room at the lower price tier.

The room smelled of mildew and everything was old. There were a couple hairs on the floor and one in the bed. The bathroom had mold in it. The hotel itself is old with an oddly large parking/driving area out front that was often filled with buses and taxis which made entering very uncomfortable. When we returned to the hotel 30 minutes after checking out to ask for a taxi they acted like they had never seen us before and asked if we had stayed at the hotel before being willing to call us a taxi. The town itself is amazing, especially Jugokudani, the hiking trails, and the bear park.

We checked it on the 19th Mar into a japanese tatami room 525, everything went well and we were thoroughly enjoying ourselves in the hotel. Until me and my kids came back from onsen and saw my wife backing up into a corner because of a COCKROACH. I killed it and went down to inform the desk wanting to ask for a change of room, but being one japanese and one foreigner, I left it as it is as I thought the conversation was going nowhere. If there's a cockroach, generally means there's an infestation somewhere in the room. The room needed a general cleaning.

We had a Japanese style room. It was quite large, but not entirely clean. In general, the hotel is quite dated. For example, the keys are still of the mechanical type. The staff was very nice and helpful. The onsen was large and fun.

The service provided by the staffs are exceptional. We booked a traditional Japanese room with futon beds and the beds were prepared by the hotel staffs. The room feels a bit old but very comfy and clean. Both buffet dinner and breakfast were included and not to mention the great onsen. The view from the outdoor onsen on level B2 after snow completely fullfilled your expectations. We will definitely return to this venue in future.

Traditional Japanese style bed with folded mattress on the floor. AC system could be improved since room tends to be humid given location and area. The AC in the room was only for heating when I visited in late September, and the sink in the bathroom might be designed for someone shorter than 140 cm because I had to bend both my waist and knees to use it. The only smoking area in the lobby did have ventilators, but they did a really poor job, way beneath normal Japanese standard. However, all the minor negativities can be overlooked when one consider how conveniently the hotel is located, and the fact that they provide a super convenient shuttle service to and from Sapporo city center (booking required, and a little cheaper than the coach bus service at the main bus stop). And the FOOD is just amazing! Highly recommend their dinner buffet! I’d stay here again just for their dinner and breakfast.

Very large hotel catering to big tour groups. Noisy and rowdy.. Only exception is its near to the train station. We opted for buffet breakfast and dinner but were given 2 hour timeslot each time - either very early or very late timing. No flexibility at all. Asked for extra pillow, just a flat 'no pillow' answer. Room is quite big but looks rundown. Will not stay there again.

We had relax and comfortable 2 nights stay and really enjoyed the onsen. Breakfast and dinner are buffet style with nice seafood. The hotel is only 2 minutes walking from the Noboribetsu Onsen bus terminal which is handy especially when it is snowing.

The unique point about the property is that the onsen has a wide offerings and of different temperature. This is the only reason that I booked this hotel again. However, the buffet food standard and variety has dropped drastically. The last time I went was in Oct 2019 and the crab legs in the cup had 3-4 variety. Now it has 1 variety. The quality of the food was better and the variety was better too. There was short of staff in the dining hall and for the morning breakfast buffet, almost every dining table was not cleared and we had to clear the plates and trays on our own. You can see that the number of staff is greatly outnumbered by the number of guest.

Low quality food for dinner. There is no snowcrab in the dinner buffet unless you pay 3300 yen/person. Drink is also extra charge. There are only 2 towel sets in the room of 5 that we booked. Unimpressed and disappointed. We'll not visit again.
