Having stayed at the Bushmans a few times, they are away from the noise from the centre of town. They have a laundry facilities, visiting a family member in hospital that was such a big help. With limited normal meal options in town it would be nice to see meal options offered at the motel but can understand why the option isnt available.

The room was very comfortable, the staff were very accommodating and friendly. I had a dog with me and I had a room that had some grass out the front. There’s also a brand-new dog park within 200 m I will definitely come back and stay there when passing through again. My only feedback would be that it would be nice if some work could be done to fill in the massive pothole in the driveway.

We were really impressed with this motel. It was in a nice location, very well maintained, family and pet friendly and a special shout out to the housekeeping staff who were really lovely and were very welcoming. The rooms are a great size and would highly recommend.

We had one night in the Executive King spa room. The room was much more spacious than the other rooms we had previously stayed in. But I was disappointed with the room considering we were paying for the best room at the Inn. It was obvious that they were cutting back on what they provided in the room. For instance, for two people there was only one biscuit, only basic provisions in the bathroom. There was only one mug, one glass and one cup provided in the cupboard. No bath salts or bubble bath for the spa. The shower was not really great due to the water flow not really adequate for the best room in the house. The metal strip on the floor between the bathroom and living area was loose, it had a screw missing so rattled when you walked across it. There was no carpet areas, but that is understandable in a hot place like Parkes. I would not pay the price again for this room as it really wasn't any better than the normal queen room.

Unfortunately, people are allowed to smoke directly outside their rooms instead of a designated smoking area. Had an asthma attack during the night due to smoke from neighbouring room coming through our bathroom window. Air cons are very very old. Shower hot water not consistent. One minute cold, next minute scorching. Simple changes required to make very good country motel.

Our room was right next to the entrance and cleaners room. Noise continued by other guests and staff from 11-1am and started back up at 4am. Lots of banging, no regulating of other guests and noisy cars. Bus loads of intoxicated peopke returned and stood in the enterance being loud for hours. Room cleanliness was average. There was no staff to speak to or make sure all guests were able to enjoy quiet enjoyment. Our room was in a terrible spot and what i can only assume to be an old sleeping quarters for staff. Being one of the most expensive stays in Parkes we expected to be able to at least enjoy a peacful night sleep. Tried to contact them via.email and no response. No one was on site when we checked out either. We would not book here again.

Booked for one night on our way from Adelaide to Sydney, we went for this side of town as it was closer to the CSIRO Observatory however we were too late to visit. The motel was in a great location though - easy into town. Room was clean as was bedding, check-in was easy and amenities were all good. Perfect for a stop-off with a good night's sleep.
