Property was under electrical construction with no proper lighting in stairwells. No staff on duty early evening or early morning. This place does not have an elevator if you check in after 5:30 and it is a one or two flights of stairs to get to the first and second floors. Price point was good and rooms were reasonably quiet for being next to a main road overpass.

Our room was ok. Shower and bathroom was good. However, the hotel is noticeably aged. The stairs were difficult to navigate our luggage. The fire door was locked. Which shouldn’t be the case. In the corridors it was very dark and the carpets in the corridor were very worn. It was quite run down and unfortunately a lot of the businesses around the hotel are closed as well.

All i asked for was a king size bed and a pool i was not told until i arrived at the property that the pool was out of order and my king size bed was 2 singles pushed together. Family room with limited cooking facilities and busted light fittings, aircon was on but cant change temperature, lounge couch looked like it had come from kerdside collection. Lots more to list. All in all i well never be staying at one of there Hotels again

I didn't like having to enter the building to get to and from my room through a locked fire door then walk up and down flights of stairs, because there was no all-day entry through reception due to it being locked at various times in the day, given that the managers live on the premises. I found this very difficult due to my own medical condition. The doors had to be opened with a key that I found very hard to turn in the lock, the doors were very heavy to open and carrying luggage up the stairs I found very difficult and painful. The motel was in a very convenient location for my needs but sadly I won't ever return to this particular motel in Rockhampton.

There were bobby pins on floor of unit showing floor hadn’t been cleaned. The stairwell to rooms was dirty and the stair rail did not allow you to hold on as you climbed or descended as there was insufficient gap for hand to fit over railing (unsafe). Vomit on ground directly outside the secure entry door to stairwell. carparks do not accommodate 4wd vehicles and majority of tenants took 2 parks per car so insufficient undercover parking for room allocations. Coffee cups had not been cleaned properly - still had markings in bottom of cup. Room had a wet/musty smell Highway noise also another detracting feature Would not stay again or recommend unless you were desperate for accommodation

Clean and Quiet, even though it is next to the main road (the room was on the other side of the building from the main road) restaurants and pub were close enough to walk to. Position is next to the River and good pathways. We would use this motel again. Price was great.

Even though the hallways and stairwells needed work the room was clean and tidy. However our king size bed was made up of 2 single beds which wouldn't be a problem except one side was higher than the other and one side was quite hard on the mattress.

It was very loud inside the room from street noise. The room smelt musty/mouldy, and the bed made us roll to the middle (we aren't big people). The stairwell smelt strongly of cigarette. We won't go back, great if you are just looking for a bed for one person, not good if you need to spend any time inside the room.

Property looked closed when I arrived with the closed sign in the window - manager advised he leaves it up all the time. Office hours listed 8-6pm and was closed in these hours. The room was on the 1st floor; the floor smelt like industrial cleaner, and the room was worse - woke up with a headache. Advertised and checkin paperwork advised a daily room clean with fresh towels - that didnt happen. Rude managers, like I was an inconvenience to them. do not recommend - 1 star
