Super 5 Inn

I’m a 44 yo single female who had to grab a room after midnight, sort of last minute. I was trying to find a cheap room, clean and safe, and that’s definitely true for Super 5 Inn. When I arrived, the exterior door to the “lobby” was locked and I panicked for a few mins (as I had already paid in the app) but after a few mins, the owner or employee pulled up and let me in. Maybe he had just popped out to get something, I’m not sure. So I checked in and went back out to my car to get my suitcase. Parking was exceptionally close and easy - I was able to pull right up to the door - but there’s no elevator in case you require one. I had to haul my suitcase up the set of stairs which was fine but the guy at the front desk should’ve offered to get my bag up the stairs, if I’m being honest. He was middle aged and able bodied so that is a service he could have provided. It was after midnight and there was no one else there. So other than the initial locked door and no elevator, it was perfect. Clean, quiet, safe, very basic room but it was great value and I got an awesome sleep. They also let me do a later check out (noon instead of 11am) since I checked in late, had to leave early in the morning for a game, and then returned and had a little nap since they allowed a later check out. Overall, fantastic value for $117. I hope this helps if you’re wondering what this place is like.

i like the castle room only room we ever stay in its nice 2 levels hot tub needs some fixing nothing serious but noticed it’s leaking over all i always enjoy my stay with my husband

No elevator. No checkins before 3pm. If you check in prior, you’ll be asked to pay $15/hr until it's 3pm. The room was nice, decent amount of parking All in all. The stay was pleasant

Amazing two floor suite with Jacuzzi tub. Nice window view and back entrance.

Rooms clean and upgraded , beds comfy parking lot and spaces are small for a full size pick up but there is a few spots at very back

While the staff was friendly and courteous, the room smelled of feet and a powder that might have been used to try to cover the smell. The room looked clean but it was hard to get over the smell in the room. A lot of parking was very convenient since we were pulling a trailer and did not have to pay for parking here.

We got the suite with jetted tub it was amazing the lights and mirrors above bed.

High quality inn near Mississauga shops, comfortable room, AC, cable. Staff was ok, but if you arrive late, you may wait for service. For this price, I would have expected 24h desk service.

The property met our expectations given the low price. It doesn’t offer really any amenities but for a place to sleep it’s good.

Room was dirty in the weirdest ways. Strange red brown liquids on the walls like someone had a food fight in there, grease on the wall painting that ruined my shirt, let shower run before use and shower floor was dirty. Cleaned some of the room myself easily so it should have been cleaned by staff. Wifi was terrible, TV barely worked, freezers didnt really keep anything frozen and sheets had a lot of yellow stains. Would not stay here again.

Fairly certain the room had bed bugs.

My partner and I went to our first room and it already wasn’t according to the photos. This was room 228 (the castle room) and I got it for a “supposedly” romantic stay with my partner. The only shower was in the jacuzzi and that wasn’t safe at all as my boyfriend slipped and hurt his wrist. As well the water was leaking all over the place for the “shower”. We then requested to change rooms (room 227 the room next to us) and within the first hour we found 3 cockroaches scattering on the walls. Staff also charged us $40 for the room change and did nothing nor care about it the roaches in the room. Don’t stay here

I only stayed one night because the hotel was infested with Lice and Bedbugs. I wanted to complain but it was useless in my life I stayed in that hotel I demand the total debulation of my money

The room was not cleaned, not even vacuumed. Mirror had toothpaste spit on it.

The room looked clean but actually it was very dirty. The wooden flooring was so dirty. Without shoes, your feet or socks would completely get black and dirty. There were spiders inside the room. The bed sheets had stains. Toilet was comparatively cleaner than the room but the door and walls have dents on it. Overall, it's okay for one night but it was not worth what you are paying for.

Property inside could use a refresh and deeper clean. Linens and towel were very white and clean. Front desk stzff excellent

The bathroom was not up to standard

I felt prettyng i felt ok about was that the sheets were clean if not i could not sleep. Bathroom light fixtures the dust is just hanging from. Need a new cleaning crew here. Place needs much tender loving care.

The price is good, and it's not far from downtown Toronto (about 30 minutes driving). What I dislike is the strong smell of air freshener and very noisy AC, which makes it hard for me to fall asleep.

Room was clean and in Good condition . Onlu issue with neighbor playing tv at high volume in the morning.

Location was good. Room was clean and had standard amenities (with the exception of only one tv channel), but the furnishings and overall condition pf hotel was run sown.

Friendly, helpful staff. Hotel about as expected for a two star budget hotel. Room was ok. Worn but, clean enough and fridge and microwave were nice, unexpected amenities. The bed was horribly uncomfortable however. Very hard and the quality was two star as well. If not for that I would consider staying again, but for someone with a back issue, the mattress was definitely a no-go.

The wifi was really slow, this should be improved. Other than that it was a good stay

For a simple night, clean conditions and friendly staff, our room gave us exactly what we wanted at a reasonable price for the fringe of Toronto.

The day time receptionist is very very rude. The night time said something and he did oposite. He argued about anything i ask for. He even lyed saying thst the staff complained about me even if i did not come out of my room at all. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I cant review a place that as soon as we arrived the guy walked us in and said "you had a reservation? Yeah we were full we dont have any rooms. You will have to get yohr money back from Expedia." Had to leave at 1:30am to find another motel and oay more at Stay Inn. Srill dont know what is going on with the charges or the outcome but was extremely tired and the clerk was just casual about it.

I had lost my i.d after being out after the Blue Jays game. I tried to pick up my deposit and had a bit of a hard time getting it but I completely understand and applaud they diligent effort to prove I was the one that left the deposit. I had a different piece of i.d but was not the one I used to check in so she went back to the video footage to be sure I was the person that checked in. It was a bit of a nuisance but I'm glad she took the time to be sure my deposit was not given to the wrong person. She was very kind and understanding of my situation. Would definitely recommend this hotel, mainly because of her kindness and I feel she went above and beyond her job description. The only thing I did not like was the police randomly asking anyone in a car for their i.d and why they were in the parking lot. They showed up twice while we stayed the one night. The officer was very rude and while I know I did not have to give my i.d without cause, it was just easier and faster to just give it so they can run the names so we can leave. Unless the hotel asked them then they should not be doing that on a private property

The front desk staff was very polite and helpful. The room was clean. No issues or problems at all during my stay.

The bathroom was filling up with the smell of cigarette smoke every day. When I checked out, I explained this to the member of staff, but he still accused me of smoking and lying about it, without considering the fact that there is an interconnected ventilation system. Only after pleading my innocence, and explaining that I neither drink nor smoke, did he agree to return my deposit. What a strange experience, and certainly my last one at Super 8.

Super 5 Inn denied a Guest a room even with fully paid Expedia Reservation - unacceptable. Then, impossible to get a Refund

Staff were very accomodating. We had spent the night at the Toronto airport when our flight was cancelled. They allowed us to check in early at 11:00 am. They also allowed us to check out late on our final day.

It was comfortable enough and clean. The morning staff was really nice, the night shift person was kind of unfriendly. We arrived very late and it was kind of creepy around there. I think the place attracts a strange crowd. Either way, we had a bed to sleep in and a shower in a clean room. It’s solidly what you pay for.

Property is dirty, inside and out. Cigarette butts everywhere. Rooms are not clean. Area is sketchy, cars of people in ally by room entrance looked like hookers operating from hotel. Owners need to do some maintenance, give it a lick of paint, and add security.

It's in a good position where you can go shopping and go to Airport easily. Services are good and price is reasonable.

I love my stay there and the neighborhood is quiet. The staff are nice and polite. It is also near to the airport and it is quite easy ride there, even with buses. I only needed 2 nights stay in Toronto for a concert. It is better than having to stay with other people in the room with you. It was just what I needed.

Property staff is very friendly, despite the building being a little out of shape and the carpeting in need of attention, the place is conviently located and every effort is made to make your stay a good one.

It's great for a budget place. Clean enough, basic amenities available, and staff was pretty good. No restaurant. If you want luxury, don't book a budget hotel.

Room a little smaller than I usually have, but met my needs. Staff helpful and can direct you to anywhere you want to go. Indoor malls, fast food and restaurants are all conveniently close. Bus service available if required.
