The reviews are accurate that it's dated with even having to fill out registration by hand on paper but it was an economical, clean place to stay. We liked the location, it was comfortable and quiet. My only feedback is that I like a good soak in the tub after hiking and the bottom of the shower curtain was moldy...an easy fix.

Place needs a renovation as it is not in the greatest of shape - cracks in the gyprock and the chain latch on room 12 needs to be replaced as it does not latch and screws are coming of the woodwork - room was clean, internet worked fine, bed was comfortable enough and no problems staying there for one night

This property is older and dated however it spotlessly clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. If you go here bring coffee/tea/milk etc and snacks as no stores around this area. Rooms have a microwave and fridge so that was great. I would stay here again. Price reasonable as well. Thanks to the staff.

They charged 145 whether i booked for 85 bucks. Room has very unpleasant smell and the front desk was not friendly at all. I had to check in because i had no other option. They also asked to write down all my credit card details even the cvc for security

It was perfect for a solo, stay. 10 minute's from historic downtown Collingwood, and 25 minutes from the Blue Mountain village. Rooms are compact so not alot of extra room for bikes or boards, then again i could try and find out.

For a motel its what tiy expect it to be. It has a fridge and microwave. The air conditioner was leaking so it wasnt able to be used during our stay which made the room hot during the night. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. I believe some minor renovations coyod make the place look a bit better ( ex: baseboards are stained from what appears to be water damage ). Shower could be updated as well as water just seeps out since its just a shower base

We just used it at night time, but couldn't wait to sleep in our soft bed. My only complaint is there bed is way to hard to get a comfortable sleep through night. More like a stone slab with terie cloth bottom sheet . Ouch out aching backs

We visited in December and had made a previous reservation. When we arrived at the motel no one was in the office for us to check in so we called the number on the door. We received no return call and some one showed up 15 minutes later with no explanation. We checked in and went to the room. It was 6 degrees celsius and it took hours for the 1 baseboard heater to heat the room to a tolerable temp.

I reserved a room with 2 beds. When we checked in, they said we only reserved a room with one. I had to pay $50 more for the room that I reserved in the first place. NOT COOL! I have proof that I did reserve a room with 2 beds.

For the cost this is a great little spot to meet your basic needs. Staff accomodated my needs, an upgrade to two beds, for a very affordable deal. They also went out of their way to get a forgotten item to me, good customer care.

The bathroom fixtures are falling off their mounts, there was a bug the size of a small rodent running along the baseboards, no in room coffee, pillows were the worst. The room was a sauna and it took 2 hours to cool it down with a window mounted AC that was older than God. Neither "relaxing" nor impressive by any stretch
