Good hotel with lots of restaurants within a 5 min walk. Staff very friendly, checkin and check out very easy and breakfast was good. Gym was very good for a hotel. Lots of space and good equipment. Paid a very high price for Sat night , but the Sunday night price was much better. Assume Saturdays and peak rates with snow. Room was slightly outdated, but was clean, warm and quiet

Room/ bathroom is outdated. Hotel overall is outdated. Location is close to the subway and convenience stores. We were on the 5th floor and it smelled like cigarettes. My husband told reception about it. I think they did follow up on that to be fair as it no longer smelled like cigarettes the following day. Some reception staff (8th of December, afternoon between 4-6pm) were not helpful. We needed assistance because we were advised by the Tourist Information office at Sapporo TV station to ask the reception of our hotel to do so. Long story short, the staff at that time looked absolutely offended we asked for assistance. Can I mention there were 3 of them and just my husband and I at the front desk, so not sure what was keeping them busy…
