Desk staff were incredible!! Very helpful, had my jet ski on a trailer and to my relief that wasn’t a problem. Picnic tables and bbq available. Little worn but nothing to get in a tizzy over. Everything is well kept and very clean. Top of the hill, so easy walk TO town but uphill back. Would def. recommend this motel and we will definitely return!!

Easy access to anywhere we wanted to be. Ample parking. Quiet area. The room was clean, well stocked. Had a kitchenette and dishes/cutlery/pots, etc so could make meals in the room if needed. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here as pet friendly. Rooms have had some updates. Parking is plentiful.Everything is a long walk away. Laundry and BBQ are nice to have.Lots of regulars to talk to outside in the evenings.

The Alpine Inn makes traveling with pets really easy by providing plenty of outdoor green space to walk them which we really appreciated. The motel itself is older and so while it’s clearly well taken care of there remain a few areas that need a little sprucing up but despite that, it oozes charm. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Great location being within less than a 5 mile drive from everything. We’ll stay again next time we’re in Nelson.

Overall we enjoyed our Stay. Room was clean and cozy. The 'Standard room' bed size is definitely a Full and Not a Queen. We booked here with the idea that we'd be able to park in front of our room for the night so we could leave some items in the car. However there are rooms here that are tucked in the back that you can't park in front of. If we were to book again we'd call to request a room with direct packing. Ice machine has a well used scoop.. Area felt safe and is really close to downtown Nelson shopping and dining.

The price is too high but the bbq area saved us $40-50 eating out (which we dislike) Comfortable king bed, and even the pillows were adequate which is very rare. Low water pressure due to site situation I guess. The jetted tub was underwhelming and not used. Staff was incredible both times we stayed, even when my hubs made me very angry leaving, the staff called later to make sure the stay was not my issue.

Great location for motorcycles. You can park right out front of your unit. The units are very clean. It’s an easy walk downtown to all the restaurants. No-brainer.

Cute little hotel with super friendly staff. We stayed in a single room with a queen bed, just the two of us. It was VERY small. The room needs to be painted as there were multiple “”dings” in the walls and the shower had mold between the tiles. Nothing a little bleach and some scrubbing could not fix. The bed was very soft and comfortable.

Stayed only one night. The room, although quite small, was very clean and comfortable. The carpet and floor were attractive and spotless. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The room smelled nice. I even brought a small dog and stayed in a "pet friendly" room. My dog was not overly excited about being in a room that, apparently, may have had another furry friend's scent. She did not even notice so whatever they use, I hope they keep using it. Nice little motel with plenty of available parking, unlike many of Nelson's accommodations. Also, in a quaint, safe neighborhood and it's easy to find.

Unfortunately we started off badly with dirty sheets. It was fixed right away, and the clerk couldnt of been nicer. But now we start looking a little closer at the condition. It was ok. Cosmetically remodeled nicely but missed the mark somewhat. Nice people, cute area, happen town.

This property was well maintained and had the very best bed. We were able to walk to the downtown area, but be aware that it’s uphill coming back. The room itself was the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. There was enough room to walk around the bed and that is all. The closet was placed by the door because otherwise there would not have been enough space to open the door. However, the AC worked well and we slept (until road construction woke us up at 4:30am - not the hotels fault).

Tiny room, TV remote didn’t work even after replacing. It’s a hilly hike to walk downtown, but bus stop nearby. When I say tiny, I mean there was about a foot between bed and wall. Really small room.

We had planned on staying one night but the weather the next day was bad. So we chose to stay another night and at the same place bc it was just easier then going to another hotel. I called the front desk early well before checkout and said we would be staying another day and that we would be in before checkout and be using a different card for the next day. I went in and paid for the room with another card. They however chose to run both cards. I had to wait a week to get my money back bc of their lack of trust. Greedy people and I will never stay here again!

Every member of the staff was very friendly and helpful- we were able to check in early, and they all went the extra mile to explain parking, check out, and amenities of the property. They called to let us know an item was left behind after check out and offered to mail it- top drawer service and highly recommended.

The staff here are the best! Very helpful with tips about local sites, where to eat, what to see, etc. location was fantastic. The kitchenette had everything we needed. Bed was super comfy. We walked to town….downhill…. through charming neighborhoods. The uphill walk back helped work off whatever yummy food we ate in town!

Our stay was great a great little motel with character. The room was small but very clean and bed and pillows were the best I have slept in for a long time. Also the man on the desk was so helpful and kind we arrived late so we had not eaten supper which he suggested Amanda’s Chinese restaurant he said it was great food and was clean and he was right it was great food, but the best thing he looked at is watch and said you better hurry they close in 20 minutes and the he picked up his phone and phoned the restaurant and told them we was on our way. Great hotel and that was the best service and the food was amazing. Would most definitely stay here again if in that area.
