The pool and spa area were absolutely beautiful except they close the pool very early in the evening which was very disappointing to me since the picture of the pool online is what made me finally decided on this. Place instead of the couple other hotels I was considering. So ya I got to look at the pool thru the window but could not go in. I was going to try and go swimming in the morning before check out but pool time just isn't that appealing first thing in the morning not to mention I already had to ask for a late check out even with our the pool visit ! Aside from that everything was beautiful and completely thought out and the staff was lovely especially the front desk young lady that checked us in. I would highly recommend giving this place a look

Incredibly under-whelming stay. We stayed for two nights and I must say SAVE YOUR MONEY! The Waldorf Astoria Berlin was the Ryan Air/ Spirit Airlines of hotels. They charged extra for everything. They have a pool but the jacuzzi was broken and they were going to charge €20 PER PERSON to use the facilities. When staying at a “Luxury” hotel you’d expect that to be included in the cost of the room, which is obviously not cheap. The room was big and had a great view but was poorly designed and the bed was equivalent to a 2 star hotel. We travel a lot and have stayed at 5 star hotels around the world and I must say this place is 2.5 stars at best. Save your money!

Das Hotel hat meine Erwartungen leider nicht erfüllt. Die Zimmer sind recht alt und zeigen deutliche Abnutzungsspuren. Besonders ärgerlich war, dass eine Schublade im Bad kaputt war – ein Detail, das in dieser Kategorie nicht passieren sollte. Zudem kostet der Spa-Bereich extra pro Person, was nicht klar kommuniziert wurde und den Aufenthalt weniger angenehm machte. Insgesamt war ich nicht zufrieden und würde das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.

Perfekte Lage, überwiegend sehr gutes Personal und sehr aufmerksam beim Buchungsprozess. Deutliche Abstriche bei der Bewirtung vor Ort. Die Lobby lädt nicht zum Verweilen ein. Die Bars haben sehr schwierige Öffnungszeiten, die nicht mal eingehalten werden. Wir wurden eine Stunde vor Schluß am Montag bei voller Bar zum Verlassen aufgefordert. Das entspricht nicht dem Standard aus meiner Sicht. Wir kommen trotzdem wieder.

Terrible check in experience. I was told the manager would speak with me later on to see how they could make things better? Repeatedly told a foreign dignitary was staying on our floor so it was making things difficult. Finally checked in and the room was still dirty. Things like hair in the shower. Completed a 4 night stay but no one followed up. Also be prepared to pay extra for everything including the pool. Not worth the price in my opinion.

Die Möbel und Oberflächen haben Macken, Beulen, Kratzer und Wasserflecken. Das Bad zeigt überall dicke Kalkränder und sieht unappetitlich aus. Das Frühstück sollte ein Highlight werden, war tatsachen die größte Enttäuschung. Das frische Obst hatte kein Aroma und die Speisen (wir hatten Frech Toast und Eggs Waldorf) waren fad. Brötchen und Croissants haben ebenfalls nicht überzeugt. Dort muss man unbedingt die Zulieferer wechseln. Klar war die Lage toll fürs Shopping. Das Personal war extrem nett und aufmerksam. Danke dafür. Aber beides gibt es in anderen Hotels auch. Zusammengefasst aber nicht, was man sich von einem Waldorf Astoria erwartet. Sorry.

The room was spotless and very comfortable. However the light switches were very difficult to understand. Instructions needed. The single face cloth was removed but not replaced. The staff were unfailingly courteous and helpful. Particularly the gentleman who greeted us at breakfast and the lady on the concierge desk.

The room did not have functional AC, instead of offering a different room they were brining up some portable ac, which required the window to be open. We had to get ready for the wedding and that got us being late, because we had to find a room at a Marriott and move asap. It was just an extremely hot day.

From the moment we arrived, the experience at the Waldorf Astoria Berlin was exceptional. Great check-in experience, amazing room etc. The concierge was helpful with dinner recommendations/reservations and my wife enjoyed her visit to the spa. Also, this hotel is very conveniently located next to the subway, so getting around Berlin is super easy from here. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Grundsätzlich ein schönes Hotel, wenn aber auch mit Abstrichen beim Service. Für den Preis den man zahlt findet man tatsächlich auch bessere Hotels in Berlin, meiner Meinung nach. We were delighted to have an opportunity to stay here, as it is so close to the zoo and convenient stores within around 10-minute walk, which added good experiences to our trip. Additionally, hotel members of staff were kind more than enough to support us.

Sehr geräumige Suite. Perfekt mit Kind. Schönes Badezimmer mit ausgewählten Hygieneprodukten. Der freundliche Zimmerservice sowie die allgemeine Freundlichkeit an Rezeption und Valet Service sind für uns unübertroffen. Am Frühstücksbuffet machte es den Eindruck das Kinder gern Gesehene Gäste sind. Jedenfalls lässt die Freundlichkeit des Frühstückspersonals gegenüber unserer Tochter nichts anderes erahnen. Leider war der Ausblick aus Suite 411 nicht so schön im Innenhof, was uns beim nächsten Besuch hoffentlich nicht wieder passiert. Wir kommen bald definitiv wieder.

Rooms are great, what you expect in a hotel like this. Breakfast is a bit disappointing when comparing to other five stars hotels I have stayed at. Ist leider in die Jahre gekommen. Lage ist top …aber das ist bei vielen Hotels dieser Preislage der Fall. Wir dachten, das Frühstück wird ein Highlight. War aber nicht der Fall. Früchte ohne Aroma. Die frisch zubereiteten Gerichte ohne Pep und irgendwie laff. Dazu noch extrem langsame Bedienung und Ostblock-Gäste, die sehr anstrengende Tischsitten und Lautstärke an den Tag legten. Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Danke dafür!
