Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Allentown-Fogelsville

All the basic functions worked well, including the a/c during a very hot spell. Room was actually a junior suite,with a small kitchenette and a coffee maker. Whole place, including the room, were spotlessly clean. Close to busy Route 78 yet room was pretty quiet. Does have a small gym.Decor a bit dated, but apparently renovation planned in the fall.

Hotel itself and room were very clean. Room was a nice sized junior suite with king size bed. Everything, including the a/c in a very hot spell, worked well. Breakfast with OK, altho limited choice choices. Eggs seems like the powdered variety, and there was minimal fresh fruit, so adequate but not great. Which pretty much describes the whole place— does a good job of providing everything. The average Traveler would want or need, including a small gym. Just don’t expect anything fancy, but when traveling ppl the utilities work well and accommodations are clean and adequate. By which criteria this hotel scores high.

The breakfast overal was good and the staff was very friendly. My only recommendation is to vary protein options served with the scrambled eggs. For example, some days could inlcude sausage, other days bacon or ham. We stayed for a week and the proetin option was always sausage.

Room was very clean; staff helpful and free parking is always a plus.

Didn’t like the staff had to change rooms because it smelled like an old smoky place. Ugly building. Rating needs to come down. I would have gladly paid more for a better hotel. This is a lower tier hotel
