Beautiful and quaint hotel from 1862. Well maintaining and rooms (with 15 foot tall ceilings) had modern fixtures. Nice game room onsite with slot machines. Friendly staff and good bar. The food was also quite good.

Our 2 bedroom apartment was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Felt like a home away from home. Staff were absolutely amazing from the moment we checked in. We were extremely happy with our dinner, best chicken Parma, and the chicken kebab was an absolute show stopper! We were driving between Melbourne and Adelaide and this was one of the stops in between. The hotel was convenient and the room was a very good size and spotless. 1 star deducted due to the dining experience. You’re supposed to allow the customer to finish their starter before you bring out the main course.

Horrible and noisy! Our room was right outside a giant industrial air conditioner. The noise made it difficult to sleep and our door vibrated. There was no natural light as all windows faced walls! Dark and dismal! Every morning there were people smoking right outside our room. Not fun opening your door to someone else’s smoke! Looks nice in the photos but I’d never stay there again. I left exhausted!

The rooms in this hotel are modern and massive. However, this was let down by the worst check in experience I’ve ever had. They wanted passports, address, email, phone - every piece of detail imaginable for a one night stay. Then they kept my drivers license and credit card for nearly an hour so they could process it all. This needs to improve!! Had dinner in pub and that was nice.

This hotel was an excellent choice. You never know whether the photos online match the actual hotel and room. They certainly do! So clean! Beautiful room that clearly has been newly updated. Isabelle at the bar/check-in desk was so helpful and friendly. Would recommend this to anyone!!

The menu has changed. They made the most beautiful mash and its now gone. Please consider bringing it back and also review the consistency of the red wine jus its just not the same as it was on my last visit. Otherwise as usual a great place to stay !!!
