Great location as we were visiting the Out of Africa Park. Breakfast over the road at Crema was delicious. Cute little town to stay on for the night. New building and decorated with quirky artwork. Only comment I'd malke is there was no safe in the room and the fridge was very noisy and kept me awake making weird noises every ten minutes. I would stay here again though. Thete is a cute little pool accessed across the road which was lovely.

The Tavern Hotel was a lovely place to stay in Cottonwood, The location was great, and it was a very comfortable and spacious room. The pool facility was very nice and the staff at the hotel were very friendly, professional and efficient. The only drawback was the front room we were put in overlooking the parking lot wasn't as quiet in the morning as we would have liked. But as it is a city hotel, it's to be expected. But it was a very nice place to stay and we plan to come back again.

An excellent hotel in the heart of Cottonwood. You can walk to everywhere from the hotel. Very clean rooms, bathrooms are fabulous. Love the hotel architecture and room furnishings. Nice swimming pool at facility. Really interesting separate cottages at the property if you want more privacy than hotel room. My only issue is parking. There is plenty of parking but description of where it is not well conveyed at check-in.

Very nice hotel and rooms. Cost was a little high for the lack of amenities but maybe a little understandable based on its location. It would be a better experience if it had its own bar onsite. We didn’t care for the Tavern Grille next door because it was noisy and had no atmosphere.

Upscale boutique hotel with fun downtown area. Comfy, spotless, great design. Close to Sedona for hiking. Great restaurants: Nics, Bocce, Crema- all a few steps away. Sat by the fire and watched Christmas lights- I’ll be back!

It is a good looking property. And the rooms are nicely laid out and appointed. However, I think they forgot to put insulation in the walls, as we could hear the people in the adjoining room, talking in a normal voice. The hotel is actually facing on an alleyway, with powerline strong across what would be our view from the balcony. That and the garbage trucks pick up behind the commercial buildings at 5:30 in the morning. Not a pleasant way to be woken up.

The hotel was great. Loved the indoor/outdoor atmosphere. Lovely chairs and balcony!!! Rooms were clean and modern. Loved no carpet!!! Could have used a more comfortable mattress. Did have some noise every morning around 6am, but I think that was the nearby restaurant delivery, and not a fault of the hotel. We would stay again! Thank you.

When we got to our rooms I thought this was awesome. Loved the large shower and decor. Cute little cottages behind us. However come time to sleep things went downhill. Bed was uncomfortable but the pillows were a total disaster. Either hard or lumpy. Such a shame that no extra effort has been put into this.

The hotel is very nice and clean and convenient to everything you want to experience on Main St in Cottonwood. However, the walls are thin and so are the floors. We had a downstairs room and we could hear every footstep all night and were kept up all night by our neighbors above us. We would not stay here again because of how noisy it is with just normal walking and talking from neighbors.

Since it is a small town and not many options this is by far the best place to stay. But overall employees were not very friendly and since we booked through a 3rd party site they put us directly across from the check in counter which was fairly loud.

We were delighted with our stay at The Tavern Hotel. The location could not be better if you want to explore the little town of Cottonwood. Restaurants, wine tasting, and stores are basically in the same parking lot. The hotel room was nicely appointed, and the room and bed were very comfortable. We had someone in the room above us that was very loud banging around. The hotel staff did what they could to help resolve the situation, which is as much as we could ask.

The Tavern is a beautifully-designed, well-kept unique property. Their rooms are classy, comfortable, and well-stocked (e.g. extra blankets, coffee, even wine glasses!), and their staff are as professional and kind as they come. It was the best stay of our trip!

I stay here for business about every 4-6 weeks. The girls at the front desk are always very accommodating very pleasant and informative. the last two times I have needed to check in early for meetings, and they have gone out of their way to accommodate my needs. close to everything. I would highly recommend the Tavern!

The property is in a great location. The room and facilities were nice and very appealing. Restaurants and shopping were close. Front desk staff during were very hospitable and helpful. During the day the staff weren’t able to answer questions about local wineries and attractions, nor available transportation and direction to them.

A terrific alternative to staying in Sedona! The Tavern Hotel is a charming boutique hotel right in the heart of a revitalized and walkable Old City Cottonwood with a quaint Main Street and several great eateries. Sedona is a beautiful and scenic 30 minute drive away.

The stay at The Tavern Hotel was great! Even with rainy weather our stay was great because of the hotel and the restaurants they own in cottonwood! The scent while walking down the hallway is heavenly as the scent in the room. Everything about the hotel is peaceful and relaxing. The shower is lovely. The Tavern Restaurant has great food and ambiance and Crema is Fabulous! The oatmeal with mascarpone cream is the best. The Adirondack chairs on the patio along with the fire pit set the mood!

The property is beautiful, clean and modern. Great location walking distances to shopping and restaurants. The only semi down side I would mention is that if you book it for the “breakfast included” keep in mind this is referring to a drink and pastry, nothing more than that. You can turn in your breakfast voucher for a $5 discount for a full breakfast though.
