I really enjoyed my over night stay here. Everything was quiet and comfortable. Thr views from the hilltop were amazing! The pool and hot tub were in great working order. I loved the little sitting areas and balconies. My room got a little stuffy when the ac fan wasnt on. But it wasnt a big deal. I would definitely atay here again. And the staff was friendly and helpful. Little hidden gem.

Such a great place. Glad I found this place outside of the major legacy hotels. This place is a gem. Great view of the Verde Valley and Sedona hills. Close to grocery, gas stations, old town cottonwood, and near all the hot spots for the river. Only 10 mins from Sedona. The pool is clean and the bbqs are fully functional. The patio swing chair has a great view too!

The view from this motel was amazing and it was fun watching the hot air balloons in the morning. Pool and hot tub were nice. The rooms were clean, towels were very small threadbare, staff were polite but not overly friendly.

Very clean hotel/motel that has recently been remodeled somewhat- some of the bathroom fixtures refelct that but overall well kept. Conveniently located, is set on a hilltop and indeed there is a view, though most of the rooms do not have view access from the window. Adequate parking. The only gripe I have is the beautiful pool, which was sparkly clean, has a nice patio area and a great mountain view-- was closed and locked until "summer"-- I visited in April and the temperature was in the 80's-90's outside. That pool would have felt nice.

This hotel has a beautiful patio the pool and spa are sparkly clean and has a gas grill. The VIEW of the red rock mountain when the sun is setting is amazing. Beds are comfortable, room was clean and had everything we needed for our family stay.

I felt the price was on the high side for the condition, age and size of the room. The property grounds are nice and clean, but our room could have been cleaned better. The walls are very thin so you can hear just about everything going on in the room next to you. I'm glad we were only there for one night as I don't think I could have handled another night.

The motel was in a convenient location, but our room smelled like dog pee(it is dog friendly)..we kept our windows open while in the room. The mattresses were very mushy..and the shower head was at arm pit level. For 175. A night we were underwhelmed.

The property itself was nice. The view was beautiful from up on the hill, but the walls are paper thin, and the bed’s are back to back to the neighboring room, so around 1:00 a.m. we were woken up by the noises from the next room occupants, Going at it, over and over for 3 to 4 hours, and I mean you could hear everything! So after laughing awhile, we had to turn the TV on and volume up!

The room was clean and nice size room. The walls were very thin and you could hear the conversation in the adjacent rooms and when they were opening and closing doors etc. it was difficult to sleep with all the noise throughout the night.

Loved the property! It's set back and above the other buildings, with a beautiful view of the colorful mountains. The room is clean and the bed was comfortable. The only downside was the extremely loud airconditioner that cycled on and off all night. Maybe it's just in room 111?

This is a quaint old fashioned motel that had the best view! The room was small but had everything we needed. It had an inexpensive remodel, clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom really needed to be redone.. bad caulk, peeling tub and a shower head was positioned for short people. I am 5'8" and it was at my chin... Having to bend to wash your hair is NOT comfortable.

I specifically reserved a room with a King Size bed on Expedia. I paid around $30 extra in order to have the King instead of 2 queens. Upon check-in, I was given a room with 2 full size beds. When I went back into the office to inquire about the room, I was told that since I booked with Expedia that "I get what I get" and that it was not their responsibility. I think it is their responsibility to ensure their customers are happy and at least show some courtesy. I will not be staying here again.

The staff at the View Motel was very welcoming and helpful with tips for restaurants in the area that were close to the motel. The room was very comfortable and definitely would consider coming back again when I come back to Cottonwood, AZ.

The View Motel is fine, rooms are clean and pleasant enough. It is a motel, you know the kind of motel where you park your car right outside your room door. That being said, the lady who checked me in was very blah for lack of a better word. I tried chatting her up she wasn't having it, her conversation with me was sign here, sign here, initial here..... really! She seems to have forgotten she is in the hospitality biz and she really needs to put a bit more effort towards greeting paying guests. Which brings me to my next issue the room was $147.00 really not worth it. The motel is in cottonwood,this is just a small desert city with nothing to see or do, you'd be better off to stay in Jerome 4 miles up from cottonwood beautiful little mountain town where your $$ is much more appreciated,or drive a bit more maybe a half hour and stay in beautiful Sedona.

"The View"! What can I say, this place is a hidden gem. Debbie checked us in and was so nice, as were all of the staff in the office. Brian was maintenance and was absolutely fantastic and so very patient with all of us and our needs and requests. The cleaning staff were meticulous and also very personable. The pool was sparkling clean as was the hot tub. We all, (5 women) were completely impressed and more than satisfied with our stay at "The View". This will be our "go to" motel EVERYTIME we stay in Cottonwood, AZ.

This place is owned by Lucial Ball nephew. Cute place. Very quite, pool is and spa is clean. And the rooms. Restaurants are close by. It is a typical small town Atmosphere. Very close to the Clarksdale train depot.

The view from here is amazing. The Customer Service is great. There’s beautiful little areas to sit and see the view. I think it’s a great little find for the area! Highly recommend this place! It’s really close to everything and they’re shopping nearby.

I really enjoyed the views from my room. We enjoyed the pool after a fun day of shopping. We were 15 min away from shopping restaurants, wineries, and kayaking the Verde River.

The view from this hotel is breathtaking. It seats above other properties so the mesas view is unobstructed. It also has a pool and hot tub ( although we did not use i can see the steam coming from it). Parking is right in from of the room and rooms have a mini fridge plus microwave and coffe maker. The place is very clean and well appointed with toiletries. There is a walmart very close by so we got some bread, ham and cheese for breakfast since there is none at the hotel. The drive from here to sedona is in itself gorgeous. All this area is definitely driveable not walkable unless you are willing to spend some serious time walking.

The room was dated but functional and in dire need of updating. The bathroom is very tiny and the shower head is really functional for people 5' tall and below. There is a small TV on the far wall that is almost viewable from the bed. The walls are quite thin and easy to hear adjoining room conversations Our room had a noisy heating unit made interesting noises throughout the night that would wake me (I notified the staff). There is no morning breakfast, but they do have coffee in the lobby. Parking is on a gravel lot but level and plenty of spaces. Staff was very friendly.

The View Hotel is such a lovely hotel. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfy. The front desk lady was super friendly and gave a great recommendation for Concho’s Mexican food. The chili relleno was amazing! Will definitely stay here again if in the area!

Nice place for the price, older but has been updated and kept up. The "included breakfast" we were advised of at check-in was not pastries as claimed but Little Debbie type snacks priced $2 each. There is complimentary tea and coffee though. Would definitely stay here again.
