The sand castle was ok considering they do except pets. We expect a little less for this reason so are stay was ok to good. The halls carpets are very stained., the rear entrance door was not locked, and rooms have a keyed knob and no deadbolt. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Overall we had a quiet restful night.

Was quiet but the fire door leading to the office from the rooms was locked which might lead to some one getting hurt during a fire. Room was a nice size with a fridge, stove and microwave but there was no tv in the bedroom. I would stay there again.

The property is very old. I believe it was a former apartment building that they turned into a motel which they have put very little money into unfortunately. If you just need a place to rest your head then this place is okay. Certainly priced higher than it should be. The whole property needs a face lift. Missing some of the amenities offered.. Coffee no Coffee maker, missing light bulbs, loose bathroom fixtures. I could go on but will put it plainly the place really needs a lot of work... Like I said, if you're looking for a place to rest your head, then this place will do, but it's far over priced for that. Spend the extra and go somewhere else you'll be glad you did.They say live and learn .... I did lol

Great for pet accomodation with green space but 3floor walk up so not great for accessibility. Staff were welcoming and friendly and beds were comfortable and clean. Toilet and sink were clean. Floors felt grimy, duct tape used for repairs in tub, door didn't latch consistently (had to double check the latch). Room and building generally run down. Room was a little apartment with kitchen which was nice to have space but did not have a coffee maker nor coffee cups. No garbage containers in room, toiletries were just 2tiny bars of soap. No hairdryer as pictured. Fighting heard late at night, many guests seemed to be struggling long term tenants. Noises were not from dogs but unhappy people. Price was much lower than other places and only place that will accommodate pets. We would likely not stay again as it did not feel safe and cleanliness could be improved.

I stayed at this property many years ago. Unfortunately it has not been maintained. The first sign is the smell of cigarette smoke the minute you enter the building. Within the room, again the smell of smoke, and musty smell put me off. I was going to stay three nights but quickly cancelled the last two. The walls and ceiling had holes and disrepair. Patio doors were filthy. Air conditioner cord in bedroom was stretched across the base of bed being a tripping hazard. Carpet filthy. The shower spout almost came off the wall when turning on the shower. We got one shower towel one hand towel and one face cloth for me and my husband. Hardly enough for one shower for the both of us. This used to be a good spot to stay but not anymore.

We cancelled because the hotel was dirty. The hallway rugs were gross. The room had spiderwebs all over the ceilings the only working window air conditioner was so loud we would not have been able to sleep.there was no working fire alarm in the room. It appeared there was no working fire alarm.

Checking in had to call to do that, no one on front desk. Supposed to be smoke free wasn't. Had to have all window and doors open. Mouse dropping and wet under kitchen sink in the dish drain tray. Drawer with utensils was not clean and strainer was rusty. Bathroom tub faucet was lose.

As soon as you open the front door your welcomed with the smell of stall cigarette smell as well as a dirty carpet, check in was fine... room was very outdated and it was two rooms to fit two full size beds ( still tight) no air conditioning in main room window shaker in the small room. paint on the walls are in serious need of paint ( nicks and chips everywhere as well as dirty kitchen area the bathroom sink leaked water onto the floor as you used the sink, we refused to use the shower as it still had the soap shampoo and hair from a previous guest i would not stay here again

It was dirty and awful. The room smelled terrible. The bathroom wasn't clean and the floors had hair on them. Do not stay here. You would do better to sleep in your car. The shower was disgusting and the shower lever to turn on the shower was broken. The curtain was bad and there was no bath mat. The hotel itself was dirty and dusty. Wish we had never stayed here and wish we could have got our money back. AWFUL!!!

If you don't mind the built up dust dirt and grime then it's the start for you. Air conditioning didn't work. There was a hole in the screen so I couldn't open the window at night. You could see the built up grim on the cupboards, walls and ceiling. It was however quiet and the wifi worked. It was also very close to everything including the beach

I liked that the beds were in separate rooms and the beds were comfortable. Also, it was a full apartment if that’s what you are needing. We were just there for sleeping one night. The rooms were clean as well. Unfortunately there was quite a bit of noise in the hallway during the night and it echoed into our room. The property was all a bit rundown but we just needed a place to sleep without spending a fortune. You get what you pay for.

We stayed in a two bedroom unit No a/c in the main room. Foul odour in bathroom. Major update needed throughout motel. Our sleep, however, was wonderful. The motel was quiet and staff were helpful and pleasant.

When we entered the property to go to the office it smelled like cigarettes the room smelled like cigarettes, some light fixtures worked the fridge was humming the air conditioner was only in one room. I could go on, I was happy it was only one night.

I booked this Motel for four nights. I checked in and attended my room. It was not satisfactory. Everything is dated and old. The bed linens were “well used”. Walls and ceiling were peeling, ect. Overall it was unsatisfactory, so after a minute and thirty seconds I notify the front desk that the room and motel were not to my liking and I will be staying elsewhere. They charged me for an overnight stay. Horrible place. Horrible policy. I do not recommend.

Check in was quick. Room was clean but there is no fan in the washroom and the cleaning staff left behind the previous soap and shampoo. I didn’t need to use any cause I had my own but it was yucky to look at. It’s an apartment/motel building so there were a lot of people around. Not bothering anyone or noisy so it’s not a complaint. Just to be aware for people out of town.

This hotel needs more than tender loving care. The bed was comfortable and looked clean til you looked under bed and found used socks and water bottle The internet was spotty and the tv never did work a nice young guy tried to fix it Helena at check in was very friendly and helpful

This property is terrible. The only reason I booked here was because it was close to where I needed to be, and everything else close by was booked. Upon walking in the carpet was dirty and it smells like cigarettes and wet dog. The person checking us in was nice enough. The room - at first we thought it smelled ok, however discovered it was due to a plug-in air freshener, which I unplugged because after a few minutes it was giving me a headache. After less than five minutes of it being unplugged I plugged it back in because the smell of the room was horrible, again cigarettes and wet dog. Thankfully we left shortly after and only came back to sleep. Left in the morning before the office was open as we couldn't wait to get out of there.

Cons: Mattress and linen had stains. No hair dryer in bathroom. Walls have many holes/loose boards. Tub faucet taped back onto wall. Smelled extremely extremely strongly of cigarette smoke. Floors had crumbs and were clearly not vacuumed. Stayed for two days and did not receive room service/ refill on towels and linens. Pros: management very friendly and helpful. Answered all questions my partner and I had. Cheap pricing and located in an area with decent shopping and eating. Close to the beach (15 min drive). Good place to stay if you are out all day and just need a place to sleep.
